Review of KJC as a 1st year student.
Placements: Currently, the number of people getting placements are 5–20 out among 100. The placement eligibility is having good academics and good Co-curricular background. The average package is about 5 Lacs per annum and the highest package secured was 8 Lacs per annum. Currently, no students have passed out from my course as it's a new course and we are the second batch but the other courses are getting placements in companies like Deloitte, Wipro, Accenture, TCS, etc. In my course, you'll be able to get a job related to finance and also be able to become a CPA.
Infrastructure: The college has amazing infrastructure. It's a campus full of greenery and lots of cozy seating arrangements. It has 3 different canteens on 3 different sides of the college with different types of food. It has 3 different libraries around the campus and free Wi-Fi for the students. There are computers for student use in the libraries too. Classrooms have projectors for teaching. In my course, you're given an online CPA exam training account by the college too. There are plenty of hostels partnered with the college with different price structures. Depending on the hostel you choose, you'll have the bare minimum of food, television, Wi-Fi and laundry.
Faculty: If you're an academic, you'll love the teachers in this course. The teachers are very qualified, having taught professional courses and having qualifications like being CA, CMA, ACCA, Dr., Ph.D., and CPA, and one of my international finance teachers has even been to Harvard. The majority of the teachers are more than qualified and teach very well. The course curriculum so far seems relevant to modern times. For example, in international economics recently, we learned about Swiftomics (how Taylor Swift affected different countries and their economies) and interesting things outside the curriculum like the Matthew effect and socio-economic norms. They taught us about economics not only as a subject but also how it works in a society. The difficulty of semester exams varies depending on the subject and preparation. If you're fully prepared, the exams are very easy to pass without effort. The passing percentage for theory is 35% but you'll have tons of online tests too, which will add on later.
Other: I chose this course because it's in one of the very few colleges in Bangalore that are good and also offers training for CPAs. They prepare you for CPA exams while also doing your B.Com. And the training by itself is pretty good, as one of my CPA teachers has been to Harvard and it was the best teaching experience I've ever had. The course even has pretty good timing, giving you a lot of personal free time. One bad thing about my course is that many of my classmates had no idea that it had CPA training before taking it. The college has a few not-so-bashful festivals, and the crowd won't be as good as SJCC or Christ but it's still pretty good on its own. The surroundings of the college are pretty peaceful, being situated on the outskirts. The college has amazing scholarship opportunities for those in need, as well as foreign exchange programs and connections with foreign colleges. The extracurricular atmosphere is amazing at the college due to having clubs for a lot of things and competitions going on frequently.

It is a very good college, and I am absolutely satisfied with the course and the faculty members.
Placements: B.Com in international business and finance has good placement results in recent years. Around 80-90% of students got placed through the college campus. The highest salary offered is 8.5 lacs per year, the lowest is 2.4 lacs, and the average salary is around 4.2 lacs. Many well-known companies came for placements, some of them were Deloitte, Ey, KPMG, Federal Bank, etc. Around 80% to 90% of students got internships during the course, and these were in audit firms, banks, and business consultancies. Many students did internships in CA firms and startups. After the course, students got jobs in roles like financial analyst, audit associate, credit analyst, and accounts.
Infrastructure: Our course has all the important facilities needed for the students. Classrooms are clean, have good lighting, come with projectors and speakers, and have Wi-Fi everywhere on the campus. The college has a very big library. The hostel is comfortable and has the basic things like beds, a study table, and cupboards. The mess and canteen provide fresh and hygienic food. The taste is okay, but the canteen provides fresh food, and there is both veg and non-veg food.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. We can clear any doubts at any time, and they will help us without any hesitation. They are very friendly. Their teaching style is so good that we will understand everything. The training style of this course prepares us for future jobs, and we will be professionals in our field. Exams are easy, the teachers are so good, so we just need to revise and we will understand it so easily, and we can easily pass. The pass percentage is 90% to 95% because of the good teaching quality.
Other: I chose the course because I wanted to study CPA, and this college is the best in its training for CPA. The best thing about this course is that it helps us to study new knowledge compared to the general B.Com. The job scope is higher than other B.Com courses. I wish there were more practical exposure, more updated software tools. They should also help in personality development; these were the places where they should improve. There are lots of programs, and in a year, there are more than 500 events that happen. In simple words, every day, there will be an event.

In brief I would like to say that overall I'm satisfied with my college .
Placements: The placement in our college is usually moderate and one will get depending how many skills they have. This year the placement was very nice especially in our department of Professional Accounting and Finance most of our seniors got placed in reputation company and with a good package.
Infrastructure: Talking about the infrastructure it's bit old but yes every class has projector which is very common nowadays and infrastructure of our college is moderate except humanities block since it's new and was freshly build last year before our session start.
Faculty: I would like to give full 5 for the faculty members as they are one of the most humble people I have ever seen they will help you throughout the year but in return you also have to be respectful towards them and maintain that kind of relationship with them than only one can expect friendly behavior from them .
Other: Truly speaking I had by mistakenly choose this course but now I enjoy learning and get to know that this course will help me to built a good career opportunity .
