Glad to have faculty members who help and encourage us. Disappointed of having no fests.

Placements: I'm a CSE 3rd year student studying in KVG College Of Engineering. To be honest, the education system here is great. There are placements and students gets placed every year. The highest package was around 8–9 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are QSpiders, TCS, etc. Mostly the students actually get into training cell (not directly placed). If they completed it, they would get a full-time job.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are not very aesthetic. Wi-Fi is available everywhere in the college. Libraries are also not top-notch, average libraries. Labs are very great. Recently upgraded all the systems. I would rate the hostel at a 7/10. The quality is great, but the hostel canteen isn't that impressive. We have a medical college here in the compound, which is a very good thing.

Faculty: Even though the college aesthetics are old. It never affected the teaching system. I would rate an 8.9/10 for teaching. Whatever the syllabus is provided (VTU) has been taught. Faculty members are well experienced for every department. Sem exams are average. The courses here alone won't make you industry-ready in the future. We all know about the boom in IT.

Other: The problem here is they only give priority to teaching. They won't provide festivals and programs like other colleges. There are hardly 2-3 programs a year, which are of mid-level. Don't expect much. But if you don't care about festivals and you want to study, you're welcome.

Good college and faculty, but poor infrastructure.

Placements: It is a very good college, and the placement opportunities are abundant too. I got placed in HCL, Bangalore. I would recommend students to opt for this college even though the campus is not up to the mark. The hostels are bad, but the college is good. However, all that matters is the quality of education. It is better here compared to most of the other universities.

Infrastructure: The college has a very good infrastructure, but not a good campus. The hostels have a very bad infrastructure. But, PGs are good, and since it's in DK, it has a very good atmosphere. Wi-Fi facility is available on the campus. The only issue is the bad condition of hostels.

Faculty: The faculty are average. The curriculum is based on VTU. The college has good and supportive lecturers. If we listen to the lectures and study every day, we can get above 90% without any doubt. A lot of exposure is provided. Labs are highly sophisticated. The course curriculum is up to date.

Other: Fests and events are regularly conducted in the college. But, the crowd is too low as it is located in an isolated area.

KVGCE, a remarkable college.

Placements: The college placements are mediocre to say, at the least. In fact, most of the students get placed in BPOs or tech support jobs. Most of the placements are through pool drives at other colleges. On many occasions, students are asked to pay money to the companies that visit just to get placed.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite old. This being said, the college does offer some state of the art technology in terms of learning. Wi-Fi is available in most parts of the college. The classrooms all have projectors, and the library is well-equipped. The medical college of KVGCE offers good medical facilities. The college is well known for its involvement in sports like kabaddi, hockey, cricket etc.

Faculty: The faculty are pretty good for the most part. Sometimes, they do become irritable quite fast. The availability of the lecturers outside the classroom isn't always good. There are a few lecturers who are very knowledgeable, and it is an honour to learn from them. Industry exposure is available. The course curriculum under VTU isn't really that useful in terms of industry standards.

Other: Every year, the college offers an interbranch fest as well as a national level technical fest. A lot of greenery surrounds the campus. The area is not well developed. The campus crowd is mediocre as most of the people come from rural areas and the mindset doesn't change much.

Waste of time and money. All that they care about is your caste and your money.

Placements: To be honest about the placement, my college was the worst of all because all they had were some fraud companies who would offer a job when the candidate pays. After paying, you may or may not get a job. My friends lost around Rs. 3-4 lacs. Moreover, we had some BPOs who offered Rs. 6000-8000/month. (Why do engineering and go to a BPO)? This is the real situation of our college. Out of the students who got placed according to the college, at least 75% are still waiting for the call. This includes students from the previous batch.

Infrastructure: When you enter the campus, you'll see a well-painted building which doesn't have a proper shape even though it has a lot of so-called civil engineers. Talking about the labs, they are in a terrible condition. As computer science students, we had systems that couldn't run our final year projects. So I think that sums up about the labs.

Faculty: I am not going to talk about the other branches but when it comes to mine, well, all the faculty members only cared about their salary and attendance, that's it. These teachers had no knowledge. This is how it works here: you need a job and are an M.Tech degree holder. All you need to do now is pay 5 lac rupees to the management and you have a job. Seriously, this is what used to happen.

Other: My views on the college are that you will not learn anything. Please do not join KVG. It will a waste of 4 years. Trust me when I say that this is the worst college. All they care about is your money. These people don't value your future.

My love towards my college KVG College of Engineering.

Placements: It has nice placements and there is a good support from the college. Students are allowed to various on-campus and off-campus placements. We have a separate placement cell department which calls various good companies to college for on-campus placement drives. Last year, more than 300+ students got placed in various companies like Infosys, Mindtree, Mphasis etc.

Infrastructure: The department is equipped with very good labs and systems and are well-maintained. The classrooms are wide and spacious. We have a Wi-Fi campus and a separate Internet lab. We have a very big library divided into 3 sections(main library, digital library, lending section). There are a lot more books available.

Faculty: Our college has the best faculty members. They support each and every activity carried out by students and they also put their own efforts in completing the student's activities. The number of faculty members is also quite decent. They have a good knowledge regarding the subject that they take up.

Review of KVG College of Engineering.

Placements: Placements are good in our college. Our faculty members support every student with placements. All students got placed in our college. Companies visit our college for placements from Bangalore and Mangalore.

Infrastructure: The hostel warden is responsible. All hostels are not good. The food served in the hostels is not good. If we complain about the food, the hosel staff won't make any difference. Sometimes we won't get food. They do not make any changes to the mess bill.

Faculty: Our faculty members are good. They explain to us everything. They provide important questions.

Other: Our college provides 5 courses including CS, EC, civil, mechanical, and AI. All courses are good. Events are good. Each student will get a scholarship of Rs. 25,000.

Our college provides good infrastructure and placements.

Placements: Placements provided in our college are very good. Around 100% of placements were provided in 2023. The minimum salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Many placement opportunities are provided in our college.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility provided in our college is good. It has good labs for geology, chemistry, physics, CAD, and many more. Smart classrooms are available. Library is a very good and better place to study. It provides a hostel facility. Our college conducts sports day and gives more importance to sports.

Faculty: Teaching quality is worth it. Lecturers in our college are knowledgeable. The course curriculum makes students ready for industry through projects, industry visits, and many more.

Other: Our college offers different courses such as CS, EC, civil, mechanical, and Artificial Intelligence. It is the best platform after the 2nd PUC. They conduct seminars and sports every semester.

The college campus is vast and wide. It gives a peaceful environment for study.

Placements: More than 80% of students were placed in our course with the highest package of 15 lakhs and the lowest of 3 lakhs. The major recruiters were Infosys, TCS, Capgemini, Byjus, Wipfli, Wipro, LG, and so on. More than 70% got internships in companies like Infosys, Wipro, and Wipfli. CENSA activities and placement training are conducted here as well.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities are all good. The food will be different every day of the week. Non-veg will be given in between the week. And for 3 days, eggs will be served with the meals. Evening snacks will be given along with coffee or tea. On special days, special food will be served.

Faculty: All the teachers are experienced. At present this course is in trend, along with software and hardware companies coming for recruitments. 60% is the average range for selection in campus recruitment. So maintaining them throughout the semesters is easy and it can be scored easily.

Other: Most of the events and functions will be organised.
