Placements: In the Economics Department, 29.8% of students were placed in 2025-26. Overall, the highest salary package was 36.25 LPA with an average of 13 LPA and a median of 12.1 LPA. Prominent recruiters include ICICI Bank, Amazon, Meesho, Blackstone, Redseer, BCG, etc. Additional, 32.9% of Economics students secured internship with organisations such as CleanMax, Worldwide Technology, etc., across roles in marketing, coordination, finance, insurance and other fields.

Infrastructure: The college provides good facilities like well-ventilated classrooms, comfortable benches, projectors and whiteboards. Tutorial rooms are slightly small but manageable. Placements: LSR offers great placements, ranking one of the best across DU. The highest package is around 45 LPA. The average package is around 13 LPA. Top recruitment firms include McKinsey, Deloitte, KPMG, etc. Roles offered for business or marketing associate, data analyst, etc. There are various internship opportunities as well. The average stipend provided is around Rs. 50,000. The highest package is 4.5 LPA for multiple weeks.

Infrastructure: The college provides all basic facilities like Wi-Fi, libraries, multiple computer labs, etc. There are 3 canteens providing students with multiple options. The hostel has also been renovated this year, so the amenities are good. The quality of food is also decent in the mess. Sports are encouraged by the college through the ECA period. There are medical facilities all around campus and the hostel.

Faculty: The faculty of LSR is qualified and knowledgeable, with many being LSR alumni as well. The course covers multiple topics, helping students become industry-ready. The teaching quality is also good, and teachers try to make the class interactive through GDs, practicals, and tutorials. The semester exams test the knowledge of the students gained throughout the year. The minimum passing percentage is 40 percent as prescribed by the college.

Other: I chose B.Com (Hons) because I enjoy accountancy and I feel like this course is widely recognised. I wish this course were more suited to the modern requirements. My experience of Lady Shri Ram College for Women.

Placements: The placement cell actively works for job and internships for students. The highest salary package is around 40 LPA. Average package is around 12 LPA. Deloitte, PWC, KPMG, and Bloomberg have visited our campus to hire students. Selections depend manily on students skills and abilities.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. There are well-equipped laboratories and a library for students to access resources. Classrooms are also spacious. There is a lot of greenery around. Air conditioners are not provided. It is one of the disappointments I face.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very helpful and humble towards students. Our college has really good teachers both in terms of theoretical knowledge and practical experience. They use various teaching methods, such as group discussions and other activities, to make learning easier.

Infrastructure: The department has spacious, well maintained classrooms, Wi-Fi, and a good library with academic resources. It also has computer facilities and a clean campus structure. PGDAV is primarily a day and evening college, so hostel facilities are not available on campus. The college has a canteen, basic medical facilities, and sports facilities with sports rooms and equipment.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified, knowledgeable. They are very helpful, with good teaching quality. The curriculum is relevant and builds a strong foundation in Political Science Honors. However, practical skills are needed for industry readiness. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and regular study is usually enough to pass.

Other: I chose it because I am interested in politics. I want to learn about Political Science. It teaches me a lot about past and the world. I want to improve my practical skills. Entering into the magic of LSR, these are the things you should know.

Placements: Many students from the B.A. Programme (History & Political Science) don't even sit in placements because it's mostly the students from the commerce department bagging the highest packages. The top recruiters are usually McKinsey, D. E. Shaw, BCG, etc. The highest package in my course is around 20 LPA. Top roles include policy research consultant.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure for my course is good. There are classrooms and libraries and a lot of books available for my course, but the Wi-Fi is weak, and it's only available for third years right now. There is no hostel in LSR for 3 years and this year they have started taking admissions in hostels, as it is finally renovated.

Faculty: There are a lot of knowledgeable and qualified professors for Political Science and History, and they teach very well. My course is quite relevant, as it teaches about public policy, international relations, and history, from the Indus Valley, till right now, Indian history, world history. Talking about the exams, the questions in our semester exams are very repetitive and easy to answer if studied. The pass percentage is 40 percent.

Other: I chose this course as Political Science and History give an upper hand for government exams in the future. The best thing about my course is that it's very relevant, like the syllabus is fit for exams like UPSC CSE or state PCS. In LSR, we have a lot of events and extracurricular activities in different societies. Fests take place, like our annual college fest, Tarang, Diwali, and fest Noor. It's quite vibrant.

Strong academics and campus life but there is scope for improvement in placements & infrastructure.

Placements: LSR has a strong placement reputation but the opportunities are not equally distributed across our courses. Coursework placement, percentage and the highest, lowest and average packages are not available in a transparent way. Recruiters include finance, consulting and corporate firms, and the offered roles are in consulting, research, and HR management. The internship opportunities exist, but course by percentage and companies are unclear. Humanity students often have fewer relevant corporate roles compared to Economics and Commerce students. It makes LSR's overall placement less representative of their actual experience.

Infrastructure: LSR has decent infrastructure, but some facilities need improvement. Classrooms projectors are generally functional. Although a ceiling fan falling in one classroom can raise question and concerns about maintenance and safety. MyDu Wi-Fi is available and works decently, but connectivity can be inconsistent. The library and academic space are adequate. Sports facilities are a strong point. There are trained coaches for different sports if we want to learn any new one. Canteen food is good but can be improved. Medical facilities are available on the campus.

Faculty: LSR has highly qualified and knowledgeable faculty with teachers, and they are generally supportive and approachable. Teaching is academically strong. Though the curriculum is more theory- and research-oriented than industry-focused, especially for B.A. programme in history and sociology. It builds critical thinking and analytical skills but offers limited direct industry preparation, semester exams are moderately difficult, requiring conceptual understanding and consistent preparation. Internal assessment matters a lot, and the passing rate is generally high.

Other: I chose BAP (History + Sociology) because it combines my interest in history with understanding of the society. The course develops critical thinking and perspectives, but the practical exposure opportunities could be improved, also the career orientation. LSR's fest is diverse and has an active student crowd and strong connectivity, which creates a vibrant campus life. The central Delhi location is convenient, while extracurricular activities, societies, and sports generally offer excellent exposure. Scholarships are available, though greater awareness and accessibility would be beneficial for students.
