What students say about LSR.
Placements: At LSR, only third-year students are eligible for placements. The placement cell at LSR provides placement opportunities in sectors including data science, data analysis consultancy, etc. In prestigious companies including BlackRock, McKinsey, HUL, Blackstone, etc. The highest package was 49 LPA last year which was the highest in the history of Delhi University till now.
Infrastructure: I am pursuing bachelor of science in mathematics with honors at LSR. This course is considered to be tough. It has various real-life applications that you all find interesting. The facilities at LSR include a library with average seats for students and a reference area for study. Wi-Fi is available the whole day. Classrooms are good with a capacity of approximately 60 students.
Faculty: Faculty members at LSR, especially for my course are best. They are always ready to help us in any condition as well as at each phase. They used to have doubt sessions for our understanding. Exams are held in two semesters in December for semester 1 and in May-June for semester 2.

Either career or fun! Jumping out of comfort zone.
Placements: The placement season 2022- 23 of LSR was an extremely eventful year and witnessed the participation. More than 140 companies extending 236 offers to our students. Industry giants like McKinsey & Co., Boston Consulting Group, Kepler Cannon, DE Shaw, Accenture, Dalberg, Trinity, Deloitte, EY, and KPMG offered positions in a diverse range of fields such as consulting, finance, marketing and sales, media and research, auditing, and HR. The highest package of INR 44.8 LPA (the highest in the University of Delhi), was bagged by Janvi Gupta from Commerce Department.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is kind of bad. There are not enough laptops or classes for students. The infrastructure is poor but the college is well-maintained and completely a green campus. Currently, they are not providing hostels so students have to opt for PG. Where the rents are pretty high from the range of Rs. 15,000 - Rs. 20,000.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members are pretty good. While some are just okay. The curriculum is currently a NEP program. Some teachers are determined to teach us while some just come for the sake of coming. The internals don't seem to be so much hectic. There are VAC, SEC, and AEC.
Other: There's no college life at all, it seems like a school. Everyone says that it feels like coming back from college to school. There'll be one or two annual cultural fests other than that there are no other fests. The class schedule is so liberal that there will be three or four hours per day.

Placements: 76% of students are placed from our course, i.e., B.Com. Hons. The highest package is 20 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Brain and Company, McKinsey, etc. Around 76% of the students who opt for placements get placed in reputed companies.
Infrastructure:
Classrooms are well-designed and furnished. Presenters are available for the department, and both online and offline library facilities are available. Wi-Fi coverage is also good. The food quality in the mess and canteen is good and hygienic, and medical and sports facilities are also there.
Faculty: Teachers are extremely helpful, qualified, and really knowledgeable. The teaching quality is excellent. The curriculum is relevant for internships to the extent of 90%. It does make the students industry-ready. Semester exams are of average level. They are not too difficult, and the passing percentage is 95%.

Cons and pros of Lady Shri Ram College for Women.
Placements: There are 65 something students in B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics first year. Recently one of my seniors got a package of 18 LPA from a company through college placements. B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics students can opt for a B.Ed to become a teacher, can become a mathematician, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good. In our department practicals are done in college labs. The lab infrastructure is great. There are so many ACs (working) and a lab has 60 laptops. There are 3 labs with 60 laptops. Food quality is amazing at very affordable prices. The cafeteria has low lighting but it has great options.
Faculty: Professors are PhD holders. They all are super intelligent, knowledgeable, and highly qualified. Semester exams are not so difficult. I don't know about the pass percentage. Professors are really helpful and professional. They are the best.
Other: Lady Shri Ram College for Women organises many events and fests. Some popular events and fests are Tarang, Bahubhashi, and Noor.

LSR: The college of dreams.
Placements: Top companies visit LSR for internships and placements. The process is really easy to adapt. In the years 2024-25, we had companies belonging to the big four companies, including McKinsey, Bain, TCS, etc., for internships and placements. LSR set the record for the highest salary package of 49 LPA in Delhi University. This placement was bagged by an economics hons student at LSR.
Infrastructure: I love the greenery all around the campus, the aesthetic old buildings and the modern new ones provide the best combination for all students. The library is a huge place providing solitude for students who are tired from back-to-back lectures. The canteen has a large space, giving a place to capture endless memories.
Faculty: The best teachers in the world. They have the best qualifications, teaching style, and knowledge. Teachers are so caring and concerned, they make sure each student in the class attends lectures, and if they fail, teachers try to contact students.

Perfect in all required terms.
Placements: The placement rate in college is 75%-80%. The highest package is 48 lakhs, and the lowest package is 17 lakhs. BlackRock, TCS, and Accenture are prominent companies looking for interns here. Data analytics, risk analyst, business analyst, and technology sector roles are prominently offered from our course.
Infrastructure: All necessary facilities are provided in the college itself. There are Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, computer and statistics labs, and a lot of classrooms so there won't be clashes in classes. Library faculty are also very friendly, and a lot of books are available, both online and offline. The hostel is undergoing renovation at the moment.
Faculty: The teachers here are extremely helpful; all of them are well-qualified and equipped with the required knowledge. In short, teaching quality would be rated a 4.5/5. The course curriculum is relevant, as we have heard from our teachers that interviews ask questions related to the curriculum also since it's important for work. Semester exams are also not difficult if you are clear with the concepts. The pass percentage is about 90%.

Lady Shri Ram College for Women. The magic to our life.
Placements: Around 70% - 80% of students are placed in my course. The highest salary package is 18 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 7 LPA - 8 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies in my course are Deloitte, EY, Axis Bank, ZS Associates, Wipro, Teach for India, and many more. About 50%-70% of students got internships in various companies. Top roles include data analyst, business analyst, software developer, research analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for my department are adequate, but the Wi-Fi network is poor sometimes. Classrooms are digital and equipped with projectors, with available seats and tables. Labs have more laptops than number of students, so there is no difficulty in accessing them. The library is also digital, making it easy for students to search for the books they need. This year, in 2024, the hostel is undergoing renovation and will be much better than previous years. Hostel facilities are good, and the quality of food is top-notch. The mess and canteen are super hygienic. Medical facilities are also good, with medical staff always available, and medicines are provided. LSR bathrooms also have pad vending machines, which is very convenient, especially because it is a women’s college. Sports and games are highly active, and all the essential equipment for sports and games is available. The playground and basketball court are quite big.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They are all PhD degree holders from top institutions in our country. Teaching quality is excellent. Course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams in the college depend on the student's level of hard work. If students are studying sincerely, it is quite easy, but if the student is not, it might be hard. The pass percentage is 63%.
Other: I chose this course because I am passionate about problem-solving and analyzing. The best thing about my course is the research opportunities. Everything is perfect, with no need for improvement. Events and fests are the best things at LSR. They are colorful and vibrant, bringing joy to both students and faculty. Surroundings are green and fresh, and it can also be termed a biological garden. Scholarships at LSR depend on the department and the type of scholarship they provide. Extracurricular activities are given separate time, which is very good. Extracurricular activities at LSR are very active, depending on the types of activities.
