B.E. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2021

Review of Lakshmi Narain College of Technology, Indore.
Placements: About 50% to 60% of students were placed. The minimum salary package was 1.5 LPA, and the maximum was 4 LPA. Companies from Indore came here for mechanical students. Companies like Tech Mahindra, HP, HCL, etc. from other places like Pune came for IT students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good. Hostel facilities were not good. The hostel building was old. No students lived there. There was no canteen. Sports and games facilities were good. Our college participated in inter-college competitions.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and well-qualified. The teaching quality was very good. They supported us in searching for jobs. All teachers guide students in making cars and other things.

LNCT Indore is well known for its education.
Placements: At least 70% of students are placed. The avg salary was 9 LPA and the lowest was 2.5LPA. Top companies in placements were TCS and Wipro. The placement cell was very efficient. They help us with our placements. Any branch student can give the placement test.
Infrastructure: Hostel facility is also good. Hostal includes mess. Students are free to revolve around the hostel.
Faculty: The course I selected was very interesting and the faculty were experts in their subjects. They help us in the workshop and guided us in different phases. Teachers were well qualified and helping in nature. Teaching quality was good and help us in project work. This course is related to high-quality work which will help us in many international and national companies. This course makes the students industry-ready.

Infrastructure and interaction with faculty were good, but dissatisfied with placements in 2017.
Placements: Placements in college were not good for mechanical engineering students because most of the companies that visited were BPOs. But IT, CS, and EC branches had many opportunities in companies like TCS and other MNCs. The salary packages offered were around 3 to 4 lacs per annum, and some companies offered less than 3 lacs per annum packages. Almost 70% of the students get placed from CS IT every year. Although, our college organises events like BAJA every year for the mechanical students, which is a good platform for them.
Infrastructure: The campus is not vast, but all the facilities are provided to the students like well-furnished classrooms, cafeteria, labs, library, etc. The campus area is not large, but it is sufficient. There are different buildings for different courses like pharmacy, MBA, and engineering, and all the buildings are in different places. However, sports facilities are not much good, but our college always participated in different games such as kabbadi, badminton, etc.
Faculty: Faculty members were helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Experienced faculty members taught us, so their teaching quality was good. Teachers were very friendly in nature with all the students. They were very lenient. Their teaching style outstanding. According to me, IT CS and EC course curriculum is useful because they had placement opportunities.
Other: Our college organised various fests. Ganesh Chaturthi was one of the festivals which was celebrated in a grand manner. Our college organised an annual fest every year which is called Yuvhana. There were drama, dancing, DJ nights, etc., which were very enjoyable for students.

Faculty are less in number, and placement are not good, but infrastructure is good.
Placements: Placements in our college are okay. The maximum package offered is 4.5 lpa. Placement is not so good. And the minimum is 1 lpa, which is very less. And there is no placement advisor in our college to help the students.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure looks good from outside but it's not so good from inside. Though it looks big from outside, it's very small in reality. Basic infrastructure like classrooms and toilets are not maintained properly. however, the staff has a very nice room which is way better than ours. Overall, it's good.
Faculty: There are only a few faculty members in our college. Our placement teacher is teaching us SOM (strength of materials). There are various types of courses in our college and the best part is we have automobile engineering in our college. The faculty is good in nature but not experienced.
Other: Overall it's an okay college. The fees are very high compared to other private colleges in Madhya Pradesh.

My college is good for study and extra activities but do not expect campus placements.
Placements: Students from mechanical engineering are allowed to sit in only 1-2 campus drives which were again not core companies. No campus recruitment has come for mechanical engineering students. The training and placement cell is weak, so do not expect campus placement if you are willing to study mechanical engineering in this college. Though, some companies had come for our senior batch.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Classrooms and laboratories are all just fine. Projectors are available in all classrooms and a separate drawing room is also there for 1st-year students. A workshop is also just fine, some machines are not in working condition but are sufficient for the introduction to 1st-year students. There are separate labs for EM, SOM, TOM, thermodynamics, and R&AC.
Faculty: Faculty members for 1st and 2nd-year students are good, ideally for 1st-year students. The management is aggressive to provide the best teachers but for 3rd and final-year students, faculty members are not fully available. There is a lack of practicality in faculty members for 3rd and final-year students. Curricular activities are every year held in the college. It is very good in co-curricular activities. Annual functions, sports and intercollegiate tournaments are enough.
Other: Other than academics and co-curricular activities, my college is the best for those who want to live their passion in automobiles. Every year, students are free for a participation in various events related to automobiles held in India, though the college does not help financially 100%, it gives the permission to participate use workshops and raise sponsorships to provide a fund to your project.

Absolutely good in placements, good infrastructure and good facilities.
Placements: Placements for my seniors batch was very good. The percentage of students placed is 75%. The highest package was 8.5 lpa, the lowest was 3.5 lpa and the average salary was 5 lpa. Our college gives placements in Endurance, Cummins, Indian Army, Mahindra and Mahindra, MAN, Anand, L&T and TATA Motors. The kinds of roles offered are in production designing and R&D departments. 80% students got an internship from college.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi campus, digital classrooms, library, e-library, medical facilities, volleyball court, football ground, badminton and sports room for indoor games and auto cad labs, Windows, Mac and Linux computer labs. Food is good in the canteen- Indian and Chinese. Hostel rooms are good and are cleaned daily by the maintenance staff. The college building is awesome with a garden and a high facility workshop.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good and very helpful. They are M.Tech qualified. They are knowledgeable and experienced. They give special classes to the students who need them. Teaching through presentation, video and practicals. Student to faculty ratio is 20:1. I got industry exposure and the course curriculum was useful.

Our campus is average, but the faculty members of this college are very well.
Placements: Placements in our college are average, and the campus is good for students. The minimum number of companies visit our college, and they give average salary packages for students. Our college also provides internship facilities for students.
Infrastructure: Our campus is good, and the infrastructure of the college is better. In our college, there is a library facility, and Wi-Fi is also provided. The classrooms of our college are well furnished, and it also provides a hostel facility for both boys and girls. The quality of food served is poor. Medical facilities are available in the hostel, and sports facilities are available.
Faculty: Very experienced faculty members work in LNCT Indore college. They are very helpful to students in every field like study, games, campus selection, paper preparation, etc. They behave like friends. Our college provides visits to the industry to every student.
Other: Our college celebrates annual function as tech festival and organises many events. Our college also gives admission on the basis of scholarships. Our college conducts many curricular programs like games such as volleyball, cricket, kabaddi, etc.
