Placements: A student graduates here as a doctor. So it can be said that everyone gets placed as a working doctor. As such package is not received, being a medical college, doctors are appointed in various medical institutions. Every student who passed the final professional examination gets compulsory 1 year internship here.
Infrastructure: Hostel is available with capacity of 2 students per room with common washroom on every floor. Separate hostel for Junior Resident Doctors, 1 room for 1 with attached washroom. Classrooms or lefture halls are good, well maintained with E class facilities. Library is well lit, spacious with sufficient books and journals along with E library service. Food is average in the hostel mess. Medical facilities are always available being a medical college. Sports facilities are sufficiently available.
Faculty: Teachers are all qualified doctors who are appointed here. Teaching quality is good. Equal attention is paid to students as total strength per batch is not very high. Course is MBBS which is according to the curriculum. Semester exams not good and not very difficult with pass percentage of more than 90%.
Other: I chose this course as I wanted to be a Doctor. Besides, everyone here got enrolled after passing the Pre medical examination. The course has been shortened from last year which is good. Annual fest is being organised here. Cultural activities like Saraswati Pooja, Janmashtami, Ganesh chaturthi are well celebrated. Surrounding is adjacent to hills outside the city.
