Good faculty support, active fests, and decent placements with scope for improvement.
Placements: In my CSE batch at LBS College of Engineering, around 70-80% students are placed. The highest package touched 17 LPA, while the lowest is about 3 LPA, with an average of 4 LPA - 5 LPA. Top recruiters included Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Capgemini, and EY. Nearly 60% of students got internships in companies like Infosys, TCS, and startups. The most offered roles are software engineer, data analyst, system engineer, and associate consultant, giving us strong exposure to the industry.
Infrastructure: CSE department has well-equipped labs, Wi-Fi, digital classrooms, a central library, and a fab lab, which help in both academic and project work. Hostels are decent with basic facilities, but food in the mess is average. There are sports grounds, medical support, and a canteen, making campus life manageable, though some facilities could be modernized.
Faculty: Faculty members in CSE are well qualified, approachable, and supportive. They often guide students in projects and research. The curriculum is updated with subjects like AI, data science, and security, making it fairly industry-relevant. Semester exams are moderately difficult with a high pass percentage, so consistent study ensures good results.
Other: College hosts vibrant fests, cultural and technical events that keep campus life lively. Scholarships and extracurricular activities provide great support and opportunities for students' growth. Overall, a good campus environment feels here.

It is the best college to study engineering and it is also NBA-accredited.
Placements: From first year on wards we should practice for placement related activities and at last year, 1/3 of batches in each department got placed. Cognizant, Tata, Wipro, and Microsoft are the top recruiting companies. Web development, software engineering, project management, and database administration are the roles offered in my course.
Infrastructure: In my department for every class, there is a laptop, projectors, Wi-Fi for department and a library for each department. AC is also available in seminar halls in our department. The quality of food in the canteen is very good, with less money. There are medical facilities in college and sports and games are conducted each year.
Faculty: The teachers in college are qualified and helpful to the students at any time and they are all well knowledgeable. The teaching method is very friendly; we can ask questions without any fear. The course curriculum is relevant. The semester exams are moderate .
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in coding. There are many events in our college. And there are scholarship for merit-entry students. There are so many extracurricular activities, fests, etc.

Pretty average college, I would give it 3 out of 5.
Placements: The percentage of placement is below average. Recruiting companies include TCL, Infosys, etc. The lowest package is 3 LPA, the average is 5 LPA and the highest is 8 LPA. The college doesn't bring in companies for internships, so you have to find them yourself.
Infrastructure: The library provided has a large number of books to help you through your B.Tech. journey. Wi-Fi isn't provided for everyone. Some classrooms are well-equipped, while others are pretty average. For a hostel, it is pretty neat and affordable; the mess and menu are kind of average, but comparatively, they are okay. They don't provide many medical facilities. We have different fields for each sport, and they are pretty good.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified, but their teaching styles range between good and bad, depending on them. The course doesn't make you completely ready for industry, but the placement training is provided by the college. The curriculum and semester exams are at KTU University and they are pretty tough. Pass percentage is good enough.

Review of LBS College of Engineering.
Placements: Around 60% of students are placed. The top recruiting companies are Infosys, Tata, and Cognizant. CSE students have more placements opportunities than others. There are around 10-15 companies that visit for recruiting purposes.
Infrastructure: Students have very neat classrooms and big library. Department and hostel facilities far more better than any other college with affordable fee. Mess food is average. The workshop and laboratories are also good. It has big mechanical workshop with great facilities.
Faculty: Many of the faculty members are IITians or NITians. Tutors are very helpful and motivate students. They help to improve students' skill and to be more creative. The curriculum of AKTU is very organized and relevant. The pass percentage is around 70-80%.
Other: The campus is good. It is one top college in Kasaragod when it comes to programs and fests.

Our college provides a good campus life with below-average infrastructure and academics.
Placements: Placements in our college are just average compared to other colleges in Kerala. However, companies like Infosys have conducted placement drives in our college. Eligible students have to travel Trivandrum, which is at the other end of the state to attend placements.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are below average here. There is no open Wi-Fi facility neither in the college nor hostel. The food served in the hostel is pathetic, and many times, our classmates got worms in the food. Only final year students are allowed to stay in the college hostel, while boys of other years have to stay in the private hostel, which is also run by the college.
Faculty: Most of the teachers here are helpful and highly qualified. But their teaching quality can be improved as it was satisfactory. The course curriculum is not at all relevant to the current scenario. Things which we learn are not at all useful for the current generation since technology has evolved a lot.
