The MVJCE placement process for 2025 is still in progress. As of now, 136 students have been placed, out of 815 students in total. Furthermore, 49 students opted for further education.

More importantly, it is geared to understand corporate requirements and develop students who are employable. In the 4 years of the Engineering programme, this is accomplished through 250 additional hours of targeted training

A decent college and strict dress code.

Placements: Placement is decent, starting from the 7th semester, with an average package offered. Seniors, the highest offered is 21 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA. Placement training is provided by the college itself. Most students from last year got placed. Placement can be improved.

Infrastructure: Classrooms, labs, and the library are good. Minor improvements needed in the canteen and Wi-Fi connection. Medical support is available. Sports facilities are decent. Hostel and mess details are unknown. Separate lifts and washrooms are provided for staff and students.

Faculty: Most faculty have done M.Tech and are good in behavior, teaching, and supporting as well, and exam difficulty is at a moderate level with 3 internal assessments for 50 marks, with a quiz too. The curriculum is a fairly relevant syllabus that gets updated according to.

Decent college with good placements, infrastructure, and teaching faculty members.

Placements: About 70%-80% of our college got placed. The highest package is 21 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, IBM, Accenture, and some product-based startups. Around 60% of students got internships in the above-mentioned companies and in-house campus programme offerings. Top roles offered are software and web developer, data analyst, and associate engineer.

Infrastructure: College has good infrastructure with Wi-Fi availability in labs and library. Classrooms are projections and washrooms are cleaned regularly. The library is very big with good seating arrangements. Hostel rooms are average, and food quality is good. There is a playground and gym.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and supportive in all aspects. Most of them are qualified and knowledgeable. The syllabus is VTU-based, and the college adds extra skill training with various clubs. Exams are not so difficult, and the pass percentage is around 80%-85%.

Other: I chose CSE since I am interested in coding and the tech field. Best about this course is that it has good placements. I wish that placement training should start early, and more practical exposure is needed. College has amazing fests and is well-connected with transport facilities. There are scholarships for merit and SC/ST students.

Placements: Around 50% of students got placed from the course. The college provides internships after every semester for students in the college itself. The highest package is 5 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. Most students opted for higher studies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and the facilities are good. Wi-Fi is present on all the floors but not accessible to students. Labs are good with all the necessary equipment. Classrooms are well-furnished and updated. Quite spacious library with all the books are available.

Faculty: The course curriculum is not relevant, and it also does not make students industry-ready. Teachers are no doubt helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and always ready to help students. The semester exams are moderate and can be easily passed by studying before a week of exam.

An overview of MVJ College of Engineering.

Placements: The highest package according to year 2023 was 27 LPA, and the average package of the CSE stream was 8 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Cognizant and TCS. About 90% of the students were placed in the year 2023.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good and the library has a digital check-in system. The college provides wifi, which is of no use, the canteen food is pretty decent and the sports teams are given a little support. The classrooms are well maintained and big to accommodate 60+ students.

Faculty: Some of the faculty are really good, but others are rude and strict. The faculty who set the question papers seem clueless about how to set a paper. The semester exams are easy in the first year, but from the second year on they are really hard to score marks because the faculty become strict.

Other: I got this course through Kcet, and the best thing about computer science engineering is that they have good placements and are interesting to learn. The festival is below average and the campus crowd isn't great.
