On JEE Main Cutoffs
Q:   What can students do after JEE Main session 2 result?
A:

After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible. Those below this, between the 95th and 98th percentile, should focus on attempting more mock tests and previous year question papers so that they have a better chance of clearing JEE Advanced

Faculty, sports, curriculum, everything is good. Placement is average. Infrastructure is good.
Placements: College placement is average. As this is a tier 3 college, its placement average is 5–6 LPA for my branch. The highest package is around 8–9 LPA, and the lowest is 3–4 LPA. Top recruiters are Infosys and Deloitte. Although many students get good internships based on their skills in different big companies through off-campus opportunities.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are above average, as new buildings and sports facilities are available and are being improved compared to previous years. Each classroom has AC. There is a good canteen and a decent mess in the hostel. The hostel is only available for first-year boys, while for girls it is available from 1st to 4th year. Medical facilities are also available inside the campus.
Faculty: Professors are highly qualified, educated, and experienced. The teaching quality is top notch for those who really want to study and succeed. They are available for your doubts anytime. The course structure and semester exams are also good. You can score easily with average study. Around 7.5 SGPA on average. It depends on your capabilities.
Other: I have not chosen it, although I got it through MPDTE counselling, but it is good to be in this branch because there is a lot of scope for AI/ML in the present and future. MITS has been organizing its own fest named Aarunya for the last two years. Technical, classical, and other activities are always conducted by different clubs and societies of the college. There are many extracurricular opportunities. Government scholarships are also available if you are eligible.

Very good college. If you come here, you definitely have a bright future.
Placements: Placement is very good in branches like CS and IT. But in core branches, students need to study well and build a good resume. With proper preparation, students can get on-campus placements easily. Maintaining a good relationship with teachers and having a good academic score also matter.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is very good. The campus is large and full of greenery. All necessary facilities are available. There are good sports grounds for cricket, basketball, and volleyball. A canteen is also available. Students enjoy spending time on grounds and participating in various activities.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive. They clear doubts easily and focus on helping students. Whenever students feel low or need motivation, faculty members support them. Students can also have personal conversations with professors when needed.
Other: My batch is good. We have a lot of fun, study together, and support each other. I chose Mechanical Engineering because I want to join the Merchant Navy. There are many extracurricular activities and clubs.

It is an average college. If your marks are not good for any other college then only prefer this one
Placements: About 70 percent of students are estimated to be placed from our course. About 3 LPA to 3.5 LPA is the lowest package, around 5.5 LPA is average, and 12 LPA is the highest package offered in IoT, according to data from 2024. As we know the top recruiter who offered 12 LPA is Airbus.
Infrastructure: If we talk about the lab and classrooms as in a building it is excellent with proper AC, benches, and cleanliness. Wi-Fi is of below-average quality and the library is good but due to the absence of AC it is harder to study there in summer. Mess food is average but the canteen has above average quality of food and there are almost every exterior sports facility.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable except for a few. Teaching quality is very good and the curriculum is the best among other colleges. The new curriculum is basically making the students industry-ready. The difficulty level of the semester exams is medium and the pass percentage is above 95 percent.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to learn both electrical and computer fields basically to get more opportunities in the GATE exam as well as to make my course core. Wi-Fi connectivity should be better as there is much use of Wi-Fi in studies. We are having good quality and as good quality of events and fest.

Good college, but if you have options for college, such as Davv Indore & SGSITS Indore, go for them.
Placements: Placements in our college are average, around 40-50% students get placed through the college campus, while others have to look for off-campus. The highest package is offered around 6-7 LPA, the average is around 4-5 LPA, and the lowest is 2-2.5 LPA here.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is decent but not exceptional. Classrooms are okay and have basic facilities, and Wi-Fi is also available. The mess is fine, and labs are also decent. The library is big and usually has all the types of books required for students. Sports and games are not a priority here.
Faculty: The faculty is good. All teachers usually give their best in teaching, and they are all qualified from some great universities. Semester exams are average, neither too difficult nor too easy. Usually, 80-90% students pass their exams in a batch.
Other: I chose this course because the infrastructure was decent, it was a good option for a college that is near my home, and studies are good. The only problem is with fests and events, the college doesn’t organise high-level fests on a regular basis, and college life is a bit boring here.

Fine here, supportive faculty, basic facilities, and non-aligned security.
Placements: Everywhere there is a pattern for jobs. IT/CS students placed and in non-technical branches haven't yet as I'm studying in AI. They're teaching necessary skills. Placement support is not very good but they teach you everything for placement so you can get jobs off campus as well. A few students got paid internships from top branches and at least 3:10 students got placement offers as far as I know. Mass recruitment companies are our top recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: We have amazing labs with Ethernet that work properly. Sometimes there is an issue with the network on campus. Classrooms are clean and have AC. Popular sports like badminton, basketball, and volleyball are available but with basic facilities. I don't know about the mess but in the college canteen everything is 6-7/10 not very tasty.
Faculty: As far as I know all teachers are Ph.D. and they have fine knowledge of every subject other than that. Except for 1-2 everyone teaches well, especially MSA and AK. The course curriculum is relevant to the current requirements. Teachers revise them and relate them to the world's problems. We do have 3 exams, minor 1, 2, and major where minor is subjective and major is objective. Exams are moderate you can pass them by studying 1 day before but to score you have to study. Teachers are very supportive of us. I like our course infrastructure very much as we have flexibility if we miss any exam we can give it later. We do have enough time for other things rather than exams.
Other: Don't come with expectations. The college is good. I'm a local here I don't want to join this college but now I'm enjoying it here until college begs us to leave. Sport facilities can be improved new games can be introduced. The college has weekly club activities, games, hackathons, competitions, and functions. Other than that events are well organized. Sometimes you think you overpaid for college but it is what it is.

Satisfied with the teaching curriculum, average infrastructure, and very low sports facilities.
Placements: Not many companies visit here but if you are at the top of your class then you will definitely get placed. I don't have much idea about the packages offered here but all that I hear from my seniors is 6 LPA-8 LPA. About internships students get them by themselves. Very few students get it from the campus side.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is being developed nowadays. We are getting new classrooms with proper facilities and the labs in the new building are fully maintained. In the case of old building, the labs aren't that good (but they are in working condition). About the hostel it's getting better too but the main problem is with Wi-Fi it's just very bad. Hostel food is very good for now but it totally depends on the tender (that gets changed every 6 month). Very few sports facilities and medical facilities.
Faculty: In my department the faculty is very cooperative. They are pretty knowledgeable and qualified enough to teach us. There are some exceptions in the matter of their teaching methods but we can't do anything about it. Curriculum is very relevant. It does make us industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult. You can easily pass them by studying the last 2 weeks. Passing percentage is 35 percent and 5.5 SGPA (not sure).
