The placements are quite good here even though the package at which the visiting companies took the students is low but success ratio is good indeed.

Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology.
Placements: I didn’t hear great things about placements in my college. It is recommended to go outside the campus. So don’t focus on college placements, instead, focus on building skills yourself and building your connections. Also, seniors are not that helpful.
Infrastructure: Just a canteen and an auditorium in the whole campus. It doesn’t even take more than 30 minutes to complete the campus. Hostelers always complain about the food, and there are many restrictions in the hostel, so at least rent a PG. Everyone, including me, always complains about the infrastructure of the college.
Faculty: Lenient about attendance, like 30 percent. But without any reason, teachers are strict and not helpful. Teaching quality is really poor, sometimes even the students know more than the teachers. You can easily score 9+ CGPA in your end-sems just by studying the last 5 days before the exam.

Placements are good. If you try your best to develop your skills. It very good level.
Placements: My batch is CSE, and almost all the students who work on their skills got placed. you have to make yourself pro because the competition in the market is so high. The highest package this year is 55 LPA, average package is 6–7 LPA. Google visited here. Internship can be given to you, but it may be unpaid or less amount, but you will be able to develop your skills there.
Infrastructure: Average. No AC in the hostel and classroom; AC only in labs. Wi-Fi connection is okay. Canteen is good, like the prices are affordable and good quantity of food at only 50 rupees. Mess is also very cheap but food is not so good, but you can arrange the menu according to your choice. Sports and games are good, like society or club for each sport, and many competitions take place.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. But teaching is not so good. You have to develop your skills yourself. Make yourself potential, take courses online and learn coding, AI/ML, data analyst and many more skills. Teachers will provide you resources, and if you take any help, they are always available.
Other: Choose CSE in this college because there is demand. Best thing about the course is you get to learn different skills, and by becoming an engineer you have potential that you can do other things also like any government exam or start your own business.

Good faculty poor infra not the dream college life also strict in curriculum.
Placements: At least 90 percent to 93 percent of students are placed. The institute has a good reputation among recruiters. Faculty is knowledgeable, especially for IT and CSE. The highest package is 50 LPA, average is 6–7 LPA, median is 6 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Top companies include Amazon, Google, Adobe, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is really poor, locality is good. Travel is easy as it has two nearby metro stations. Hostel facilities are decent, canteen and mess are also mid. But it is surrounded by a lot of places to eat and does have a market nearby. Good locality, but do not expect infrastructure.
Faculty: Teachers are educated. Teaching quality is also alright. They are well qualified and knowledgeable about the course. Curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are doable, completely dependent on your preparation. To pass, you need to score 40 marks out of a total of 100.

Summarising my point of view on MSIT.
Placements: 100 per cent of students get placed. The highest package as of 2025 is 18 LPA on campus, and the average is around 6 LPA. ZS associate, Infosys and TCS are the major companies responsible for most of the on-campus placement. Internships, most students go for the off-campus, otherwise, we have to pay our institution some amount to get the chance to get into companies. The top roles are SDE3, data analyst, and product manager.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is limited to only certain classes, and it is very frustrating. Like in the tech college, people have no access to proper Wi-Fi, classes are average, not that good and not that bad, but there are frequent power cuts in the classroom and labs too. I am not in the hostel, but what I've heard is that the food quality is not so great there.
Faculty: Faculty is very helpful, but there are some teachers who are not very helpful. The majority of them give marks based on our performance. No such bias is shown in the internal marks. The course curriculum is not that relevant, but it's not that great and not that bad. They are not sufficient if you are targeting big companies like FANG. Sem exams are pretty easy to pass, and good marks are easily achievable.

The college faculty is great, and placements are average, but the infrastructure is not great.
Placements: The highest package is around 50 LPA, and the average package is around 9 LPA. Recruiting companies like Flipkart, Amazon, Oracle, and ZS Associates visited the camps. The lowest package is around 4 LPA. CSE placement is around 100 percent. The placement is around 98 percent ECE, and electrical placements are a bit low.
Infrastructure: The quality of the infrastructure is pretty average, and everything is mostly bare minimum. Labs and the library are good, but classes don't have AC, and Wi-Fi is available only in selected places. Sports and games are barely present, mostly non-existent.
Faculty: The teachers are mostly very well qualified and knowledgeable in their respective fields of study and are ready to help the students. Semester exams are relatively easy to pass with a little study, and every student passes the exam. The course curriculum is relatively relevant to the current industry.

Average college with decent placements.
Placements: Decent companies do come to college. But most of the time, you need to apply off-campus for good placements and need to develop skills on your own. College is not going to help in that. Placement companies only come in your fourth year, and you can't be dependent on the college for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very old and poor. Wi-Fi does not work in the hostel, nor in college. The hostel facilities are just decent too. No sports facilities, few societies are available, but you need to take out extra time and skip classes for that. Mess food is hygienic, and no one actually takes responsibility for that.
Faculty: Few teachers actually teach really well and are supportive too, but that varies from department to department. In most cases, faculty themselves don't know about the subject at all. And are just concerned about your attendance and marks.

The admission process for the BTech course at MSIT and JIMS Greater Noida is almost similar. Both colleges accept relevant entrance examination scores for admission to Bachelor of Technology courses. Moreover, both institutes accept valid scores from JEE Mains/IPU CET for admission to BTech courses.
