B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2022

Our college has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Around 50% of placements, the highest salary package of our course is around 5 LPA. The lowest salary package for our course is around 3 LPA, and the average salary package for our course is 4 LPA. Infosys, Wipro, etc., are the top recruiters from our college. Around 70% to 75% got internships in companies as software developers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. They serve the latest technology, smart classes, and air-conditioned rooms. Each floor has 2 lab rooms for computer classes. Classrooms are larger with good alternate sides, and they have huge windows. The hostel is also good.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-qualified and have quality knowledge of the courses. The course is really curriculum-relevant and it also helps students prepare for GATE and other competitive exams. The semester exams are conducted by the IP University itself, and the level of exams is quite tough. The pass percentage is about 45% in each subject.

Infrastructure: This college provides all the necessary facilities for the students. The infrastructure is good, classes are furnished and well ventilated. The campus is very clean and has good sanitation facilities. It has a well-furnished library and separate sports grounds are provided. Hostel facilities are also good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and kind. All the teaching staff have long experience and great knowledge and are always there to help students and have a very effective way of teaching. The course curriculum is relevant, and it is updated. It includes all the recent changes and policies of India.
Other: The campus is good. It has various facilities, a parking area, a sports ground, and hostel facilities. College celebrates every festival and event enthusiastically. Teachers and seniors are all very supportive.

Our college provides great placements and infrastructure. Overall, it is a great college.
Placements: About 60% of the students from our course got placed. Top recruiting companies like Byjus, Acadecraft, Maruti and TCS visit our campus for placements. Almost 90% of the students from our course got an internship. Companies visited our college regularly for placements. Our college conducted workshops and seminars properly. We were always thankful to the college for helping us, and also director sir addressed college weekly for columns and guidelines.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility available in our college was a little slow. The infrastructure of our college was great. The library was good. Our college is the second-largest colleges in GGSIPU after the main campus. Our college provides buildings for different sections, and the buildings are well-maintained. There are about 6-7 gardens, and that too is amazing and maintained properly.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Teachers are available from every field. They provide assignments and revisions. They motivate us to do better in future so that we can improve.
Other: Mechanical is an evergreen branch, so I have chosen this course.

The worst college I have ever seen in my life.
Placements: Not even a single company visited the college to recruit the students of mechanical engineering in our college. GGSIPU is the best college for IT sector, but there is no chance of placement for the students of other trades. Taking admission in this college is very easy, but once taken, you will be treated like an animal here.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is provided in the college, the charge is included in the fee. Labs are available for every subject, but only few lab instruments work. Classrooms are big enough to accommodate 50-60 students.
Faculty: The teachers are not helpful. Only a few teachers think about students, others think about impressing the chairman and their seniors. The teachers are not well qualified. Most of them are only B.Tech holders, only a few are M.Tech qualified. None of them is a PhD holder.

Dissatisfied due to poor placement quality.
Placements: Some students from CSE and ECE engineering got placements last year, but I did not hear about mechanical students getting placements. Last year, the highest package offered was 2.5 lacs per annum. I hope there will be better placement facilities for the mechanical branch when it is our time to get placements.
Infrastructure: Wi-fi facilities are available there in the college. Classrooms are also in good condition but there are limitations of books in the library. Everyone can't have the same book due shortage of books in library. There is also a canteen and mesh and one has to pay 40 rupees for one plate food.
Faculty: All the teachers are very helpful and great. I am happy to have them as my teachers. Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The way of teaching is great, but only some teachers. There are at least 60 students of one branch in each class. We have been given an opportunity to face the industry a few months ago. It was Parle manufacturing industry.
Other: Every year, a fresher's party is organised by the college faculty, and last year there was a college fest for the first time.

Good infrastructure, but location is a problem.
Placements: The companies give the packages, but the salary package is a bit low. The government companies hesitate to come to the off-campus colleges, and we are left with the option of off-campus placement. Around 50% of the students got placed with an average package of 1.10L. Our training and placement cell did good work in giving guidance to students but was not at par with providing quality placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well-built and well-maintained, but the location is a problem. It has a green campus, but stray dogs are the problem. There are big classrooms. Wi-Fi facility is too slow and limited to the building only. The library is well maintained, but books are not according to the demands. The canteen is the worst. The hostel is too far.
Faculty: There are good faculty members, but it keeps on changing, it is a bit problem in maintaining a good relationship with them. The director was good and well-educated. We didn't get any industrial tour. There are the worst teaching techniques. The teaching quality is good but only for certain teachers and labs.
Other: No fest is conducted in the college. The college crowd is not so good.

In 2017, 99% of the students have cleared the examination and the college has provided placements.
Placements: All the batches have completed the placements exam, and the college provides jobs at MNCs. Also, the management is helping me to get this opportunity. The companies like the Mitsubishi, Lancer and Turbo, and UNO minds have come to the college campus and provides the job, hiring good and qualified candidates for the good growth of their company.
Infrastructure: They are affiliated to GGSIPU-Delhi. There are also good facilities and good knowledge provided to the students. Also, there are clean and clear classrooms, AC rooms and fully automatic labs, which provide good knowledge every weekend. There is a set timetable to play games and a canteen facility available for the good quality food.
Faculty: All the faculty are qualified and trained. In the college, they also provide study material to the students. The teachers here are very helpful, and 99% of the faculty have good knowledge, and they use very shortcut methods to teach the students. Every weekend, mock tests are conducted, and also they provided many engineering courses.

It is the best college for automobiles as equipment was available in workshops.
Placements: In 4 years, 3 students got placements. Most of them didn't get any jobs because 3,000 students had applied for it, but only 150 students got jobs. Companies like Kings Ford and Chevrolet of Surat visited here to take our interview for a job. Most of the bright students were failed in interviews, and only 1 member got a job.
Infrastructure: Labs and other computers were good, but there was a shortage of instruments at the time when we were studying. However, now all things are available in the workshops which we attend.
Faculty: All faculty members were are not able to teach, and some of them were bad. Only a few were good at lectures. Studies were not good, and its on medium level. I think faculty members should be improved for a good teaching level, but other all things were good. Our college should give back students' original documents which college takes it which is against the GTU law.
Other: Freshers party conducted in our college was good.
