The college is not too good, not too bad.

Placements: Not many students from our batch have been placed as of yet. Generally, the students who have commerce in their GE or had commerce in school are the ones that companies prefer. Top recruiting companies for our course are Deloitte, KPMG, J. P. Morgan, EY, Accenture, etc.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in our college, but it barely works. Some classrooms are decent, some are below average. Canteen contact keeps on changing, currently it is very okayish. The crowd is fine, the faculty is decent, and the greenery is amazing, especially during the spring season.

Faculty: Some teachers are helping, but there are also some Teachers who are very rude as well. We feel so scared to even approach them. Some teachers are very kind, and they even understand our case that students are also going through a lot, while others just care about themselves.

Other: I am pursuing economics honours, and I truly believe that it is the cream of the humanities. It gives you insight into how the economy of any country works, which has always fascinated me.

Maitreyi College is a bit far, but overall, it is a good college.

Placements: The placement cell is very active regarding internships and more. There are several internship opportunities for us, both paid and unpaid, with other perks. Both offline and online opportunities are there. Placements for B.Com (Hons) are more in companies like Deloitte and PwC.

Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure is good but the hostel is quite overpriced. It does not have many seats and only one seat from one course for general category. The garden is super adorable and beautiful. The college campus is a bit far from the metro station, and that is at least 20 minutes walk from the metro station.

Faculty: Papers for core subjects are quite difficult. AEC, SEC, and GE are a bit easier depending on the AEC and GE we select. Faculty members are also nice, and we should just remember to give our assignments and tests on time. They are very understanding if we face personal issues.

Other: Maitreyi's fests are of the next level and super fun. There are several competitions and performances, and they are super exciting.

Our college has a good infrastructure and a good curriculum.

Placements: There were a few companies that came to the placement drive, but the roles and packages offered were not that attractive. A few of our batchmates were placed and they got a salary package of 3 LPA–4 LPA.

Infrastructure: The campus is beautiful, and the surrounding embassy area is beautiful. The canteen provided average food, but Satyaniketan was great.

Faculty: The curriculum was very good. It was relative to other professional courses, such as actuarial science.

Other: Everything was good, but the crowd varied with different courses.

Overview: Maitreyi College.

Placements: Economics Hons students get the most placements in our college as it is one of the demanded courses in DU. The average package students get is 6 LPA whereas the highest gets 11 LPA. Most of the students get into Data analysis and HR. Students did many internships in various fields like marketing, research, policy-making, etc.

Infrastructure: Our college has a new hostel now which is will be started soon. Our college has two main buildings - Arts and New Science Block which is equipped with labs for computer Science, Biology lab, Chemistry lab, and Physics lab too. Our college canteen gives food at affordable, subsidized rates. We have different societies for different areas like zeal for contemporary dance, Galore as fashion society, Apollonia for music society, and many more. Overall, it has a great campus worth good facilities. Plus point:- We have a mother dairy booth inside our college for ice cream lovers.

Faculty: Our teachers are top-notch with great insights. They are helpful, strict, and knowledgeable. Our curriculum is rigorous but it is worth the hard work. The level of exams is the same for all colleges of DU and internals are quite good if one studies regularly. The pass percentage is above 90% for our course.

Other: I liked studying economics and it has great opportunities ahead so I chose this course and it was a good decision. Our college has its fest that is Raphsody and there is departmental too named as economical. Scholarships are given but they have some criteria based on income and grades.

Overall, it is a good college for girls.

Placements: In our college, students with 95% got placed. The placements depend on the students. The highest package is 7 LPA, and the average package is 3 LPA. Good companies like Accenture come here. Maximum students got internships from college societies only.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. The library is good. Sometimes, we face problems during classes when maximum strength comes to college because rooms are a bit small. I feel like this is the problem in 90% of DU colleges. The canteen is pretty good and offers good food.

Faculty: The teachers are good and helpful. We can even call them, and they won't get irritated. The problem is that if a teacher leaves the college due to some issue, the college takes a lot of time in appointing a new teacher for the same subject due to which we lack in the syllabus. Most of the time, it happens only with extra subjects.

I am satisfied with teachers, infrastructure, crowd, placements, and money value.

Placements: Nearly 50% of students are placed from Maitreyi college in different bonafide MNCs or top established companies every year. Top recruiting companies include Nike, Puma, Jindal, Wipro, Tesla, etc. Top roles may include department heads, deputy secretary, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is good. It provides greenery here and there, a large open auditorium, ample classrooms, Wi-Fi facility, sufficient laboratories, well-equipped library, grievance committee office, newly constructed hostel with canteen and mess, also different sports playground, etc.

Faculty: Faculty members are well versed with knowledge, and follow practical approaches besides theory. The practicality of subjects is also tested through laboratories, projects, ppts, etc. The semester exams are tricky which helps students to know where they stand regarding the depth of the subject. But the passing percentage of students is positive.

Other: I am pursuing B.A. in economics honors from this college. This course is good, and allows students to know more about the economy in practical aspects.

The college has great faculty and amazing crowd, but the infrastructure can be improved.

Placements: Around 70% of students got placed from students who appeared for placements. Some students were not even interested in placements, and they went for further studies. The highest package offered was around 10 LPA. Companies like Genpact, Wipro, Chegg and Mahindra came here. More than 80% of students got good internships.

Infrastructure: The library is well-maintained and has lots of books related to different subjects. The classrooms are well maintained and clean, although not very spacious. The food is amazing, tasty and affordable. Medical facilities were up to date. Sports and games are very well encouraged.

Faculty: The best part of our college is its amazing faculty. They are very helpful and intelligent. The course curriculum is helpful and even enhanced skills as we had skill enhancement courses as well. Exams were not easy but very helpful to develop our intellectual capabilities.

Placements: The placement cell of our college is very good. They keep on posting new opportunities on a regular basis in different domains. There are ample opportunities. The placement cell is very active. There are regular webinars on several topics from time to time. They even conduct sessions to improve your skills and help you to crack interviews.

Infrastructure: The facilities are ample around the area. The nearby locality is quite safe as there are many embassies located in the area. There is a good mess that can fulfill your hunger in a budget. The sports and games facilities are also very good. Medical facilities are available, minor cuts and things can be treated by the doctors present in college, there is even a bed where you can rest if you are feeling low. The library is very nice, and you can spend as much time as you want and read as much as you want. It has all tules of books available and numerous books available on economics. You just have to apply for a library pass, and there you go. The building is also very nice and beautiful, surrounded by trees and plants, so you can just sit on the grass and enjoy a good time.

Faculty: The semester exams are moderate. If you revise the concepts wisely, then you can really score good marks. Moreover, the teachers are always there to help you. The pass percentage is 6 CGPA. The teachers are very helpful and always willing to solve your problems but try to ask about your problems in class, otherwise, it will not be solved. Most of the teachers are doctors and very proficient in their field.

Other: There are regular events in our college from time to time. The crowd is very good, and everyone is quite friendly and very helpful. If extracurricular activities excite you, then this college is for you. The college even provides many scholarships to the right candidates.
