Student's perspective on Maitreyi College.
Placements: I am from the B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science course. In this course, we can be eligible for any competitive exam. The average package ranges from 6-7 LPA. Apart from that, big companies come to provide internships to students so that they can gain real-world experience.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great with all the basic amenities provided such as Wi-Fi, library, big classrooms, media room and canteen facilities, which are excellent. Games and sports facilities are also available within the campus. Several games are conducted such as basketball and football.
Faculty: Faculty members and the course curriculum are well-designed in such a manner that helps students for overall development. Exams are conducted twice a year. Apart from that, several tests and assignments are conducted to check student's abilities and weaker parts so they can work on them.
Other: The campus crowd is nice. It conducts its annual fest, all departments fest, functions, and competitions. Scholarships are provided for students from weak economic backgrounds.

Review of Maitreyi College, University of Delhi by Benii.
Placements: As a humanities student, our college does not provide direct placement opportunities for our course. However, commerce students have access to placements, and the placement cell assists students from all courses in securing internships. Companies like Deloitte, ICICI, and many others visit the campus for interviews, primarily for B.Com students.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library are available for students. I don't live in the hostel, but my friends have shared that the hostel food is quite good, and they also get snacks on weekends. Canteen food is nice as well. Our college offers a variety of sports, and participation is open to all, regardless of experience.
Faculty: Our teachers are very well-qualified and knowledgeable. Some are helpful but some don't understand the struggle of students who are in society and mark their attendance 0, and don't even give 1 or 2 marks. Semester exams are not that tough.
Other: I chose this course because of my core interest in politics and I want to prepare for government jobs in the future so this course will help to prepare for my exam. I wish there were some more practical things because it's a whole theoretical which is sometimes frustrating.

It was good. I am satisfied.
Placements: The placements are decent. It is important to do some research work and be involved in the process throughout. They provide you with good opportunities and options to choose from. Rest is dependent on the students and their abilities to be a part of the programme.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. It’s a beautiful college with a lovely garden and a rock garden maintained by the hardworking gardeners of the college. Along with it, the classrooms have projectors for presentations and advanced learning. The rooms are big and the washrooms are clean.
Faculty: Faculty is commendable and hardworking. They have differ ways of teaching and enhance class learning for every course. The professor student bonding throughout the course increases the efficiency, making it easier for the students. Curriculum is effective.

It is a good place for studying as it has helpful and good staff members.
Placements: More than 95% of students are placed. The salary package offered is 15 LPA. Political activists and teachers are the roles offered. Government companies visit here. The placement cell plays a very important role in collaborating with various companies.
Infrastructure: All the amenities are available. The quality of the food is amazing. Facilities are great. The best part is the book collection in the library. We get ice cream and curd from Mother Dairy. The hostel has a very good environment and a variety of plants.
Faculty: All teachers are helpful. The course is interesting. 33% is the pass percentage. 75% attendance is mandatory. Semester exams are easy if we study. Teachers use the best teaching methods and notes. The course offers many options.
Other: I am interested in political science, so I chose this course. We gain knowledge of political institutions. Everything is fine. All events and activities are conducted at the highest levels. We enjoy them a lot.

I'm satisfied with our college.
Placements: Hi! I'm a student of Political Science (H). This year's data I don't know, but in the year 2021, there were 75-80% of scholarships. Our college's placement cell works really well and efficiently. A lot of well-known companies came to our college for campus placements.
Infrastructure: The best part of our college is the infrastructure. It is really nice and well developed. Though the classrooms are a little old, they give college vibes. The library is also good, but you'd have to search a lot for a book there. The most attractive parts of our college are its greenery, the gardens, and the rock garden, which were recently built. It's the perfect place to see the serenity of nature!
Faculty: The faculty of our department is really supportive and helpful. Though our college is well known for its microbiological studies, our political science department is still nice. Exams are a bit difficult as it's DU level. But most of the students get a percentage of around 97%.
Other: I'm a UPSC aspirant and also really interested in international relations and political studies. The teaching methodology could be developed a little, and it's not only for Maitreyi, but most of the colleges still follow that old teaching style. I've completed my graduation at home due to COVID. My entire 2nd year was spent at home, so I didn't get to enjoy much of college life. But a fest happened in my first year. The area where Maitreyi is situated in a posh and diplomatic area. So, it's safe and really pleasing here.
