The infrastructure of the college is excellent .

Placements: As I am a first-year student, I don't know a lot about placements here yet, but placement is good. The placement ratio is also decent, and various companies like Tata, Wipro, and Infotech have come here. I am in my 3rd year, and I have seen that there are various internship opportunities based on campus. I have also seen companies visiting the college off-campus, and the campus gets good results.

Infrastructure: Onerios is held in the even semester of the year, usually in the months of February or March. Onerios is the cultural and main event of the college. The sports facilities of the college are also very good. There are more than 100 clubs, which are run by students under DSW.

Faculty: The teacher-to-student ratio is approximately 100:1. The teacher-to-student ratio is not too good because there is no connection, as there are many students from background areas, so there is a lack of communication skills between the teacher and student. But teachers are well-interested and have good communication skills. They also want many students to approach them, but students are not likely to do so. The latest tests are conducted in a very good manner. Also, there is no cheating allowed in the examination hall. Students remain silent and are not allowed to take anything into the hall. There are also many quizzes taken in the examination on the chapters in the college.

Amazing infrastructure, every facility is available.

Placements: From the seventh semester, students are eligible for placement. Companies like Amazon, Mahindra, TCS, and Grind Power. The highest package of 2024 is 52 Lacs and the average is 6.5 Lacs. Out of 165 students, 100 students were placed. The criteria for my batchmates and no scholarship is given to us.

Infrastructure: One cultural fest around February and one tech fest around October. Very happening college life. Every journal and book that you require will most probably be available in the library. Facilities are well developed. Extracurriculars are amazing because the student clubs are very active. Clubs from cultural to technical exist here.

Faculty: The faculty members to students ratio is good enough, and the relationship between students and faculty is good. I liked most of my faculty members, and I didn’t like some of the faculty. There are two class tests, mid-sem, and end-sem. Want to explore Meghalaya through JoSAA and CSAB counseling, and the JEE Main exam is accepted.

Faculty members in the college are very well-educated and supportive.

Placements: We get placements in 3rd year and we need to have zero backlogs. Companies like Zomato, Infosys, PwC, etc., visited the college for placements. The highest salary package offered by Zomato was 10 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 5 LPA. I plan to go out of the country after my degree.

Infrastructure: Sports facilities of the college are very good. There is a big cricket ground, a football ground, and a volleyball ground on the campus.

Faculty: There are around 10 faculty members for about 60 students. My most liked faculty member is Koti Sir because he is very friendly and the most I dislike is my CAEG sir because he gives too much work. There are about two midterms and one end-semester exam and they are balanced in terms of difficulty.

Other: The main cultural fest of the college is Onerios which comes in the even semester of the year. Mostly the fest happens during February. Sports fest is held just before 1 month of the annual fest, which is around January. There are more than 100 clubs on the campus which are mostly run by the students and DSW.

Overall, it is the best college for an M.E. in VLSI Design course.

Placements: On campus, almost 90% of students enrolled in our course. Several leading recruiters like Analog Devices, L&T Technology Services, Wipro, Intel Corporation, and Qualcomm visit our college for placements. The average salary package offered is 14 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. Our course helped 85% to land in internships.

Infrastructure: Everything is excellent in the hostel. Rooms are impeccable, with free Wi-Fi, and the whole hostel is quiet. Prices are reasonable, making for a hassle-free stay. Additionally, the hotel offers a restaurant and CCTV surveillance for added convenience and security. If we encounter any issues during our stay, then we can contact the caretaker or manager directly, who will be happy to assist us.

Faculty: The best individuals are chosen by the selected faculty members. They have an extensive understanding of the areas they teach, and they can help you find a decent job if you are interested in that profession. They attempt to teach basic subjects and maintain the class as engaged as possible. Faculty members will provide an excellent opportunity to learn fundamental subjects. Semester exams are simple, and 69% of students pass the exams.

Some of the top recruiting companies are Qualcomm, Wipro, Inter Corp., HCL, NVIDIA, AMD, MediaTek, Infineon Tech, Cadence Design, etc. The average salary is around 5.5 lakh rupee per annum to 13 lakh rupee per annum. Some of the top roles offered in this companies are design engineer, verification engineer, physical design engineer, test engineer, process integration engineer, and application engineer. Approximately 70% of students of my course secured internships during their course. Some of the companies are Infineon, Qualcomm, Wipro, HCL, NVIDIA, and Intel.

Infrastructure: There are modern classrooms equipped with audio-visual aids and air conditioning. There are dedicated labs for our course, i.e., VLSI Labs, Electronics Lab, and Computer Lab. Faculty: The faculty has highly qualified and advanced degree-holder teachers. They have super academic and professional experience. The teaching methodology is student-centric, focusing on interactive learning, mentoring and personal guidance. They also use modern teaching aids. They actively participate in research projects and encourage students to do so. The curriculum of this course is very relevant. Theoretical knowledge and practical skills in this curriculum make students industry-ready. The course also offers career support to students. The semester exams are moderately challenging. With proper study, students can pass the exams. Approx. 85% of the students pass the semester exams in my course.
