B.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science - Batch of 2028
3.8

Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at MMCOE, Karvenagar, Pune.
Placements: As Artificial Intelligence and Data Science is a relatively new branch, there is no placement data yet since the first batch has yet to graduate. However, if we take into consideration the placements of CS/IT batches, we can infer that around 70% of students typically get placed, with salaries between 4.5-5.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college has all the relevant facilities, such as Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library have been provided for and are well-maintained. The hostel is satisfactory, as it provides items such as bulbs, rugs, pillows, bedsheets, and other necessities. The food consists of only vegetarian dishes and is available in a large variety. You can also find a gym on campus, along with an indoor sports room, which has games like chess and carrom.
Faculty: The teachers (department-specific) are quite experienced within their fields and naturally are of satisfactory quality. The course curriculum is relevant, and oftentimes, industrial experts are called to have a session with the students to make them industry-ready. The semester exams are not difficult if you study the material provided by the professors.
Other: This course has the most potential in regard to the future. The events, fests, and campus crowd are good enough. Scholarships are also available, and the college supports and funds start-ups.

B.E. in Computer Engineering - Batch of 2026

Good faculty support, strong placements, and well-equipped infrastructure.
Placements: In our B.E. computer engineering 2025 batch, around 85-90% of students are placed successfully. The highest package offered is 18 LPA, the lowest is 3.5 LPA, and the average package is 6 LPA to 7 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, and few product-based firms like Amazon and ZS Associates. Nearly 70% of students received internships in reputed companies such as Infosys, Persistent, and Capgemini. The most offered roles are software engineer, full-stack developer, data analyst, and system engineer.
Infrastructure: Our computer engineering department has well-equipped computer labs with high-speed Wi-Fi, modern classrooms, a digital library, and access to research resources. Hostel facilities are decent with spacious rooms, purified drinking water, and study-friendly environment. The mess and canteen provide hygienic food with both vegetarian options. Medical facilities are available on campus along with tie-ups with nearby hospitals. Sports grounds for cricket, football, basketball, and indoor games ensure good recreation for students.
Faculty: Faculty members in our computer engineering department are highly qualified, supportive, and approachable, with strong knowledge in both theoretical and practical aspects. The curriculum is regularly updated with industry-relevant subjects like AI, cloud, and full-stack development, making students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult, focusing on conceptual as well as application-based questions. The overall pass percentage in our course is consistently above 90%, reflecting the effective teaching and student support provided.

The reality of Marathwada Mitra Mandal College of Engineering.
Placements: Our college's average placement is around 5 LPA, but considering the fees, our college offers a good ROI compared to other colleges. The IT branch, in particular, has good packages. Most students get 100% ROI in our college, which is good for students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is pretty bad, and there are no extracurricular activities to do because of the lack of proper facilities. The hostels are equipped with Indian toilets instead of Western toilets, which is an issue for some people. The Wi-Fi is not fast enough and is very poor.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive, and the curriculum is also very good. There are no semester exams, but unit tests are conducted. Each subject has five units, and it depends on the teacher how they give marks to each unit and which educational tools they use for the unit (quiz, test, assignment, presentation).
Other: The college is good, but the atmosphere within the college is below average. When coming to this college, don’t expect any kind of college life.

An autonomous SPPU-affiliated college.
Placements: I am currently in the computer branch, and according to what I've heard, my branch has around 70% placement, and the highest package I know for my branch is 27 LPA. Students can apply for companies from the 6th semester itself till the last semester. The average package is around 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are great, and the mess is very good, especially for vegetarians. Good quality of food provided. Sports facilities are limited, though they are good. Wi-Fi is available mostly throughout the campus, but requires a login to use it. Labs are well-equipped.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, interaction is quite good, and discipline in my branch needs to be maintained. As I come under SPPU, the syllabus is provided by SPPU itself. The coming batches come under an autonomous system, so their syllabus and curriculum are much improved and better.

Good place to grow overall and make great friends.
Placements: According to what I know, there were 78 students placed from a batch of 100 students, and the others mostly went to higher studies. The highest package was 23 LPA. The average package was around 6 LPA. The placement cell is helpful and trained.
Infrastructure: There are well-equipped labs with all the required equipment. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus, and students need to register for it. Wi-Fi can open only the allowed websites and social media, and other websites are restricted. Classrooms have digital boards or projectors and whiteboards.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and helpful. The teaching quality is decent, with interaction taking place in classes. The curriculum for the first year is mostly 11th and 12th subjects with somewhat more knowledge, and from the second year onwards, we get the subjects that are related to our course.

College has good infrastructure and facilities, a playground for volleyball, cricket, and basketball
Placements: There are nearly 180 students in my batch pursuing B.Tech in Computer Engineering. From last year's results, I can say that the highest package was 10 LPA, and the lowest was around 2 LPA. The top recruiters are TCS, Wipro, and Infosys. I don't know about internships. The roles offered are software developer and data analyst.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is quite good and supportive for learning. The classrooms are spacious and equipped with projectors. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. The library is well-stocked with a wide range of books and digital resources. The labs are updated with modern equipment for practical learning. The hostel facilities are comfortable, with clean rooms and proper maintenance. The mess provides decent food with a good variety, though sometimes improvement in taste is required. Medical facilities are available on campus for emergencies, and sports grounds encourage participation in various games and activities.
Faculty: The faculty in our course is average, while some teachers are knowledgeable, and the overall teaching quality could be much better. Many times, the concepts are not explained in depth, and practical learning is limited. The curriculum is somewhat outdated and not fully aligned with current industry requirements, which makes it harder for students to be industry-ready. Exams are moderately tough, and due to a lack of proper guidance and clarity in teaching, students often struggle to perform well. The pass percentage is decent, but most students rely on self-study or external resources rather than classroom teaching.
Other: I am from the Computer Engineering batch, and I chose this course because of my interest in technology and programming. The best part about the course is that it provides a foundation in coding, problem-solving, and exposure to emerging technologies. However, I feel the course could be improved with more hands-on projects, industry collaborations, and an updated curriculum to match real-world applications. The campus has a lively atmosphere with cultural and technical events, fests, and extracurricular activities that give students opportunities beyond academics. The crowd is diverse and friendly, and the campus is well-connected.
