Beautiful and rocking college life.

Placements: As I am new, I don’t know much about placements, but from my seniors, I’ve learned that only 3rd-year students are eligible for placements. The average package is around 5 Lakhs, and the maximum depends on the individual’s ability and potential.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great, with greenery everywhere, and they strictly follow the 3R's principle. Everything is available on campus—salon, cosmetics, stationery, bakery, food canteens, and a Nescafe outlet—so there's no need to go outside for anything.

Faculty: All the teachers are Ph.D. holders and highly professional, yet they treat us in a friendly manner and always support us. With their help, college exams feel like a piece of cake. I’m very grateful to them and love my college because of this. Teachers are always ready to help.

Other: BBA is a professional course that prepares you for future business ventures. It helps you excel in soft skills like communication, personality development, and leadership, which are essential in any organization. Besides, we have numerous fest activities happening throughout the year.

Good college faculty, good infrastructure, and good facilities.

Placements: Only 1 girl was placed with the package of 2,000,000. ICICI and Airtel were the top companies. All the students in my course were asked to get an internship for our research project, but on our own. Clerical roles are only offered, and students need to pursue their Masters in order to get good packages.

Infrastructure: I am not a hosteller, but I have heard very bad reviews of hostel mess and rooms. The rooms are smaller, and there are 4 students in each room, which is not good. The college does not provide AC facilities to the students and does not provide proper shade for students to sit in during the summer.

Faculty: The teaching staff is really nice and cooperative. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant. Students are definitely industry-ready. Exams are really difficult, and students really need to work hard. The pass percentage is 35 percent, I guess.

Happy and dynamic life of MCM DAV College.

Placements: Students with a 65% percentage can be placed in our course. The average package is 500,000. Many MNCs visit, and several students have been placed. About 75% of students got placed. Our course is basically related to the management field, and several specializations are also available.

Infrastructure: Overall, the campus is full of greenery with good infrastructure. There are many classrooms, several labs, and clubs to boost students to develop their interest in extracurricular activities. The Culture Club is there where you can showcase your dance and singing talents, followed by the Literary Club. We have various sports options like cricket, badminton, football, chess, basketball, etc. Additionally, our college offers NCC and NSS facilities too.

Faculty: Teachers here are really appreciable as they are so good and friendly, which makes us comfortable to interact with them. All teachers here are Ph.D. qualified. Teachers prepare us in such a way that exams seem to be quite easy to attempt. There are 2 semesters in 1 year, and exams are scheduled accordingly. The whole course consists of a 3-year duration, which includes 6 semesters, and each semester lasts for 6 months.

Other: I chose this course because of a genuine interest in business studies and a liking for management subjects. It gave me full exposure to personality development and helped me learn many new things regarding industries. If you want your career in the business line, then you must opt for this course. Our college hosts many fests like Meraki (the annual fest where all colleges of Chandigarh come together to celebrate it). Various competitions are held between colleges, along with EDM nights and singers to hype the audience. Additionally, we have techfests, Diwali fests, and many more.

The college is the best in every aspect.

Placements: The placements in our college are good. The teachers help the students in getting placed in good MNCs. The companies which visit our college are well-established and renowned. Professionals from the companies make us very comfortable during the interview.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is great. There are huge grounds for playing sports. Labs, multimedia room, conference room, etc., are equipped with many facilities too. Overall, the college is good for everyone.

Faculty: The faculty are highly qualified and very cooperative. The student-teacher ratio is very good. The faculty make us understand the concepts by giving presentations, live examples, etc. The teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very good and helpful.

Other: Various departmental fests are organised in the college. An annual fest is celebrated.

One of the most reputed colleges of Chandigarh.

Placements: The placements cell did a great job. A lot of companies visit the college during the job fest. The placements for postgraduates are better than graduates. All the students from different streams get opportunities to apply for jobs during job fests that are conducted every year in the college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good; however, some classrooms need renovation. The celebration ground is the highlight of the campus. The quality of the food in the college canteen is amazing. It is one of the best canteens in the colleges of Chandigarh. There is a lot of greenery in the college.

Faculty: Most of the faculty are good. Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. The teaching quality is great, and strictness in terms of attendance was there. Minimum 75% of attendance is mandatory. The course curriculum is very useful for the future, and the exposure was great.

Other: Meraki is the cultural fest of MCM. The fest is organised amazingly by representing girl power. The crowd at the college is good, and the campus surroundings are very lively. A lot of extracurricular activities take place in the college now and then which provides great exposure.
