M.Sc. in Chemistry - Batch of 2021
3.8
I am satisfied with the college. Faculty members are very good here.
Placements: Our batch is not offered with placements. Our batch is from 2019-2021, and it does not offer placements to seniors also. But Chemistry students are rarely given placement in other colleges also. This college is far better than other ones in UT. So I suggest students join this college.
Infrastructure: The food served in the canteen is very average, and mainly fast food is available. Fast food is good, but you cannot have fast food daily. The canteen is very small. The library is average. The Wi-Fi facility is not working at a fast speed. Medical facilities are not good.
Faculty: Exams are tough here. Teachers are highly qualified. The course curriculum is totally relevant. Teachers are very helpful, and they always guide you even after you are not a part of college. They are the best teachers and best human beings also.
Other: In Chandigarh after PU, MCM DAV College for Women has the best faculty members. I have chosen this course because I like chemistry. I just want that teachers should focus on students from medical backgrounds as they do not know every basic.

M.Sc. in Chemistry - Batch of 2025
4.6
Excellent college. With good faculty and good placement.
Placements: There is a separate career counselor and placement cell. They provide timely opportunities for the students. The students get placement according to their presentation, efforts, and capabilities. The students are placed in various fields and categories.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is very good. There are different blocks for all streams and a big canteen, along with good juice corners that provide us fresh juice made from fresh fruits. College infrastructure includes big blocks like the Golden Jubilee hall. A big auditorium is also located near the hall.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive and mostly are Ph.D. qualified and knowledgeable. Very skilled teachers are here in our college. Master's exams are more difficult than Bachelor's. The pass percentage is 33. Books are provided in the college library and department library, and teachers also provide us with notes of our syllabus.
Other: Many types of events are organized in our college. Youth fest, Diwali fest, and our college's own fest, Meraki, are also organized in our college. Different kinds of seminars are also organized in MCM College.

Yes, if you have not enrolled yourself in the counselling process, then there will be a spot round counselling where you have to go to the preferred university of your choice and then apply for your M.Tech. That happens at the end of counselling.
