Perfect place for Academics & Extracurricular.
Placements: In the current year, 40% of our seniors are placed in good companies, and many are looking for higher education. They have cleared GATE with fair ranks. This year, companies like NESTLE, HIKE EDUCATIONS, visited our college. They offer a handsome package of around 6.5-7.8 lakhs per annum.
Infrastructure: The Department of Biotechnology has well-equipped laboratories, and classrooms have projectors. The hostel can be improved along with the mess facilities, as many students complain about the food provided in the hostel mess. Sports and games are also organized by the college at zonal, state, and district levels.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, as all are Ph.D. holders. They are very wise and helpful towards all the students. The department conducts industrial visits for students to enhance skills and exposure to industry insights. The pass percentage is around 80% of the total class strength.
Other: Biotechnology is a premium course, and a technical degree is much more valuable in the field. The course curriculum could be improved by the university, as the core subjects should be of prior consideration. The college arranges fests and events at the department level as well as the central level.

It is a good college in Meerut.
Placements: Approximately 70 percent of the students got the placement with an average package of 4 Lacs and also they provide industrial visits which help in getting internship opportunities. They also provide us with good industrial trips which help in industrial exposure for students.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of the college and classrooms is good compared to the other colleges based in Meerut. They provide facilities such as Wi-Fi access, projectors, and good seating arrangements along with CCTV cameras and a good lab equipped with a lot of instruments.
Faculty: The lecturers we got are qualified from renowned institutes like IIT and top institutes. They have a very high degree of knowledge and also provide good lecture materials. They are also helpful in other things in which students need their help, such as any kind of reference.
Other: As this course provides me with the latest knowledge in the scientific field, it helps me in getting placed in various fields, including scientific and pharmaceutical.

Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology is the best college in Meerut.
Placements: Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology is the best college and offers many many courses. I have completed my B tech biotechnology this year and there are many placements in this field. Various companies approach here. About 70% of the students get placed in different posts.
Infrastructure: There are good facilities of laboratories and Wi-Fi connections. There are 2 libraries and classrooms are well decorated and managed. We have many e-sports facilities. The food served is very hygienic and medical facilities are also good. We have very good laboratories with all the equipment necessary for a student to perform different kinds of experiments.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are doctorate holders. Teachers are very helpful and very friendly which makes the student more confident about their studies. Semester exams are not very tough and completed in a series of orders. The chances of the pass percentage is 99.9%. Semester exams are so easy as the guidance of the teachers is very good. They treat us like a student or friend.
Other: I chose this course because it has good opportunities for jobs.

Average ranked college as it is situated in Meerut so not safe for girls .
Placements: Below 50 percent students are placed from B.Tech biotechnology in miet. Actually miet don't give placement in core company, biotechnology students can sit in CS it, B.Pharma companies. In terms of internship about 70 percent students get internship and I have to share that 1 girl from our college get scholarship in oxford University and did the higher studies also from Oxford University.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of miet college was good smart classes, labs, campus is also good.
Hostel of miet for girls is okay means the quality of the food there was not good.
In terms of sports and games, miet is very supportive for that miet has big grounds for that.
Faculty: No doubt teachers are very helpful and very qualified also. They support every student in theoretical and practical knowledge. And as per biotechnology curriculum, you have to take your own time extra from classes to learn something good and valuable for practical knowledge .

The infrastructure of our college is a drawback.
Placements: Our college needs lots of improvement because they only provide BPO for job profiles, and profiles offered are also not good. The main drawback is placements, or maybe it is because of the city that companies don't want to come.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is average. Food of mess is allowed only for hosteller, but canteen is excellent. Medical facilities are good. The library is good, and it has good books to learn and study to enhance our knowledge. Classrooms are very humid, and air-conditioners are also not provided. The sports team is good, and the department is satisfactory.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are knowledgeable and great. They are well-educated with lots of experience, but some of them are freshers. Study materials are great. There is much burden of attendance, which is not good. Otherwise, it is a good college with great faculty members.
Other: Events, fests and scholarships are great, but campus surroundings are not good. There is no time for extracurricular, so I want them to give time for students to learn more things, including studies as well.

At present, I am not satisfied as most of the experienced faculty in my department left the college.
Placements: College provides good placement opportunities to every eligible student. Well-known companies like Wipro and TCS visit the college to conduct placements. The package offered to the students lies between 3-5 LPA approximately. In my course, many students got a job in software companies as well as in Research and Development areas.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are very good, and the hostel rooms have fans, tube lights and also air-conditioning facilities. The college infrastructure is not excellent but overall it is good. The quality of food is good, and the hostel provides medical and ambulance facilities.
Faculty: Faculty are very well educated and experienced, and they are very sincere about their job. Faculty are helpful in our projects, and they also help in promoting innovative ideas and research. Our college or department also conducts industrial visits. Faculty are also ready to help in the hostel if you have a genuine problem.
Other: I have chosen this course as I failed in NEET, but my long term goal is to be a professor.

I am satisfied with the college.
Placements: The college has good placements, and most of the students got placed. But, there are very few placements for biotechnology students as it is a growing field. The average salary package offered was 3-4 LPA. Good companies like Bosch and Wipro visited the college for placements. So overall, the placements are good.
Infrastructure: It is a huge campus with large grounds to conduct extracurricular activities. Classrooms are well-ventilated. There is a good library with a good environment for studying. The canteen is good. Labs are functional. The most expensive labs in the college are of the biotechnology department. Good medical facilities are available.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. They are approachable and also give guidance about how we can excel in our future. They motivate us to apply for higher studies and even help with that. There is proper guidance for our studies, but in the end, it depends on students how much knowledge they have gained.

Overall satisfied, and extremely satisfied with the faculty.
Placements: If you want to get placed in a different sector, then you don't need to worry at all, because the companies do visit for the placements. But those are mostly of different sectors like sales and marketing or IT companies. The core placement chances are low, although the labs, the staff, teaching and supporting both are awesome. They are all supportive, encouraging and friendly. They will provide any possible help. If you want a good environment for studying and good education, just go for it.
Infrastructure: I won't say the college's infrastructure is awesome, but it's not bad either. And every year they're making changes and improving the infrastructure. The old buildings are being renovated. There is a separate building for the first-year students and then branch wise buildings are divided. Also, there is kind of a different college inside the college for B.Ed and more such courses. The development is always on its way to the infrastructure.
Faculty: The teachers are awesome, extremely helpful, and full of knowledge. The labs are awesome, the teaching techniques used are easy to understand. Even the lab assistants are supportive. I think biotechnology branch is like a family where we can discuss with our teachers without any hesitation. This is the best branch of the college.
Other: Lots of events are conducted throughout the year, apart from the annual fest in which every year a different celebrity is invited to come and perform with us. There are student committees in the college as well as hostel which keep encouraging you to participate in the different events that are organised. Just a few meters from the college is the area where we get transportation for Delhi as well as the other parts of the city. There are many restaurants and shops nearby, and more are about to be developed. The students whose family annual income is low are provided scholarships for both college and hostel fees. A lot of extracurricular activities are being performed in the college at regular intervals of time.

The academic fee for B.Tech offered at MIET Meerut is Rs. 1,20,013/- per year and an extra amount of Rs. 5,000/- for security, But this year they haven't yet update their portal there might be certain changes in fees but i guess there will be big difference or may be remain same as the previous year
