MIET Meerut - A decent choice for tech aspirations.
Placements: MIET offers decent placement opportunities especially for CSE/IT branches. With top recruiters like TCS, Wipro and Infosys. Core branch placements are relatively less. College also conducts regular placement training and internship drives to enhance student employability.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at MIET is well equipped with modern labs, high speed internet and smart classrooms. Hostel facilities are decent offering clean rooms, Wi Fi and a secure environment although food quality can vary. Recreational areas and reading rooms add to the overall comfort of hostel life.
Faculty: Faculty members for bachelor of technology courses at MIET are supportive and knowledgeable though teaching quality can vary. The curriculum is updated with emerging technologies like AI, ML, and data science. Exams are conducted regularly with a mixture of theory and practical assessment.
Other: MIET offers good value for money, especially for technical courses like CSE (AI) with reasonable fees and decent facilities. The crowd is a mixture of focused and fun-loving students creating balanced environment.

Review of Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Usually, placements are all about our efforts. The college just gives us some training on company interviews. Our efforts and dedication are what matter. The college also puts in all its efforts from its side. It is we who will secure our place. Companies visit the college for placements.
Infrastructure: Every department has its own building. The canteen is available inside it. For the 1st year, we have a different building. Infrastructure is good. It has facilities like water, a fan, and labs. All basic facilities that are required, irrespective of branches and years. It has sports-related activities.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and help us to solve problems. Teaching quality is all very good. The course curriculum is followed according to AKTU, and it is relevant. Semester exams are also very good. They conduct semester exams as per the AKTU guidelines in the best way possible.

Candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent by the AIU or Intermediate or 2-year Pre-University exam conducted by a recognized Board/ University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.
Candidates must have passed class 12th/equivalent examination in 2023, 2024 or appearing in 2025.
There is no age limit for the candidates.

Final examination of the 2-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the NDA.
SSC Examination conducted by the NIOS with a minimum of 5 subjects.
A Diploma recognized by AICTE or a State board of technical education of at least 3 year duration.
2024 onwards Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow will be using the score sheet of JEE (Main) for admission instead of UPCET (Earlier UPSEE).
