Step 1: MICA PGDM Appliction Process 2027
- Visit the official MICA website and navigate to the online application link.
- Register on the portal using a valif email address and mobile number.
- Log in to fill out the application form with personal, academic, and entrance exam details (CAT/ XAT/ GMAT).
- Upload all required documents and pay the non-refundable registration fee of INR 2500 online.
Documents Required for MICA Admission:
- Class 10 & 12 marksheet & passing certificate
- Graduation marksheet (all semester/ years for graduates) or marksheet up to the latest semester (for final-year students)
- Valid scorecard of national-level entrance exam (CAT 2026/ XAT 2027/ GMAT)

- The final merit list is prepared based on a composite score combining entrance exams, MICAT, GE, PI, academic background, and diversity performance.
- Selected candidates receive an admission offer letter and must confirm their seat by paying the prescribed acceptance fee within the specified timeline.

MICA admissions are through a layered filtering process comprising of CAT/ XAT /GMAT performance followed by the performance in MICAT written exam and finally the GE and PI performance. The step 1 of MICA admissions is Psychometric test. This section is a qualifier. followed by the Step 2, which is for the candidates who qualify through Psychometric test, their relative performance on CAT /XAT/ GMAT is considered.
A minimum cutoff of the best of the three scores is considered of CAT /XAT total percentile or GMAT score. The next step is the MICAT exam followed by the GE and PI. However, CAT/ XAT/ GMAT percentile/ scores make up only the 20 per cent of the total weightage of the final composite score.
Candidates need to appear for any of the national level the exams, among CAT, XAT or GMAT to participate in the MICA PGDM selection process. Admissions to MICA PGDM is based on shortlists prepared considering the MICAT scores, national level exam scores, GE and PI scores. Candidates filling the MICAT application form have to enter the scores of national level exam. However, if they are yet to appear for the exams, they can add the exam scores later. MICA provides the facility to add exam scores at later stage of the registration process.
