Midnapore College, autonomous, is one of the best colleges in West Bengal.
Placements: Nearly 30 percent students are placed but most of them go for higher studies. For better placements. The average package is 2.5 LPA. Generally TCS, Wipro, cognizant, etc. From Our college, we don't get any of internships. But if we can, we will do it from outside, online platform. Basically, in bachelor's, we get the role of data analyst. After our Masters, we become data scientists, financial analysts, and business analysts. Etc.
Infrastructure: Yes we get Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms that are decent. In our department, the batchsize is small. 4-5 teachers we have. Our college has one of the biggest library in West Bengal. And the collection of books are super. Hostel seats are few. Most of our batchmates made mess. We have so many sports options like cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, etc.
Faculty: Yes. The teachers are great. They are well qualified and from top universities; they are friendly with us. They try there best to improve ourselves. Yes Statistics is. One of the best subject in the world. Especially in the era of data Science, it has so many scope in the field of data Science, operations, finance, machines learning, etc. It's moderate to hard of the semester exams (80–90%) and students are passed.
Other: I want to pursue my career in the field of finance, so I chose this. Also, it has many government. Service opportunities. Like INI SS quality control, RBI, etc. If our college will manage internships for us,. It will be more beneficial. Our festival is ANANDAM. The campuses are good and well maintained. It has many scholarships from the government. Or private.

Absolutely dissatisfied with this college. Now they even take attendance very seriously.
Placements: There are no placement opportunities for Statistics students on campus. There is not any chance for a master's yet. Very few students get chances at higher education from here, and not many students study here. There are 24 seats total, but students stay in 12.
Infrastructure: Only one faculty member is now available. The water supply is not efficient. There is no drinking water on the 5th floor. Hostels are very good, though. Hostel staff are very good and friendly there. They take good care of students. There is also Wi-Fi available.
Faculty: Every day is an exam day in this extremely stressful environment for students. There is a computer lab for students. There are very few faculty members here. The semester is decent—not very hard or very easy. If teachers are sensible, you can pass. Practical exams are really hard here.

Poor hostel facility but good college campus.
Placements: Placement is only from BCA department. No placement is provided for the other departments. Not a good choice for placement. Not many companies come to hire. BCA students mostly get hired and a few computer Science students are placed in 1 or 2 companies. If you want to get placed then choose BCA in this college.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are adequate but hostel facility is very poor. 1st year boarders have to go to shopping for meal of the hostel. There is no committee in hostel. 2nd year students work as managers in the hostel. Superintendent only comes to check if your seat rent is cleared or not.
Faculty: Exams are easy as this is an autonomous college. But Statistics department’s faculty is not very good. Other departments are good. Exam’s questions made by the college are easy. Good system is there to conduct exams offline and online both.
