Students applying for GATE 2025 can opt for two subject papers from the prescribed set of combinations. Earlier, the candidates could apply to appear in only one subject. As a candidate can appear in only two papers (only approved set) of the 30 papers for which the GATE 2025 will be conducted, they must carefully choose the papers they wish to write. A candidate is expected to appear in the papers appropriate to the discipline of his or her qualifying degree. However, he or she is free to choose any paper according to his or her admission plan, keeping in mind the GATE eligibility criteria of the institutions in which he or she wishes to seek admission. MIT Academy of Engineering Alandi provides a four-year undergraduate course for Bachelor of Design programme. The university offers three specialisations for the programme: BDes in Product Design, BDes in User Experience Design and BDes in Communication Design. No, MIT Academy of Engineering Alandi does not offer the option for distance learning for any of its courses. All of the courses provided at MITAOE Alandi (BTech, BDes, M.Tech and PhD) are in full-time and offline mode. The students need to take the classes in-person and should also maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in each semester.

MIT AOE offers a four-year BDes course in the stream of Designing. This course is offered across three specialisations, namely Product Design, User Experience Design and Communication Design. To get admission to this course, candidates must pass MAH BDes CET entrance exam.

Yes, the institute provides direct admission to the second year of BTech through Lateral Entry. In order to pursue this course, the minimum eligibility requirement is to pass either Diploma with a minimum of 50% marks in appropriate branch of Engineering Technology or BSc Degree from a recognised university with at least 50% marks with mathematics as a subject in Class 12.
