To get admission to a two-year M.Tech course at MIT AOE, the minimum eligibility criteria is to pass a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant stream of Engineering and Technology with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Admission to this course is entirely entrance-based. Candidates are selected based on their valid scores obtained in GATE entrance exam. 

MIT Academy of Engineering Alandi offers a two-year postgraduate degree in Master of Engineering in two specialisations. Students can choose their desired specialisation between M.Tech in Computer Engineering and M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. The eligibility of MIT Academy of Engineering Alandi MTech programme requires the candidates to score a minimum aggregate of 50% in Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology (45% in case of candidates of Backward class categories and PWD belonging to Maharashtra State only). The selection however, depends on the GATE score.

The NTA has released the exam dates for the JEE Main 2026 Session 2. Paper 1 (BE/ BTech) will be administered between April 2, 2026 to April 9, 2026. The Session 2 registration will open in the last week of January. The applicants are requested to fill the application form available on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in.

MIT Academy of Engineering, MAEER provides various programmes and specialisations to students. These courses are available in different streams. For obtaining MIT AOE Alandi Pune admission, candidates are selected on the basis of entrance tests. The total fees for BTech at  MIT Academy of Engineering include various components, with the tuition fee being the major component. The BTech fee, for various specialisations ranges between INR 5 Lacs and INR 7.7 lakh.  Accommodation costs are separate which ranges from INR 3.2 to INR 3.62 lakh. MIT AOE was established in the year 1999 by Prof. Dr Vishwanath D Karad; since then, it has won numerous accolades for offering best-in-class education. MIT AOE has been approved by the University Grants Commission of India (UGC) and given academic autonomy. MIT Alandi Pune has won the award for the 'Best Engineering College' given by Savitribai Phule University ( SSPU). The institute has all its courses approved by NBA, and it has also received a grade A certification from NAAC.
