Maharashtra Academy of Engineering Alandi Pune (also known as MIT AOE Alandi Pune) is an autonomous private institution. Yes, the institute provides direct admission to the second year of BTech through Lateral Entry. In order to pursue this course, the minimum eligibility requirement is to pass either Diploma with a minimum of 50% marks in appropriate branch of Engineering Technology or BSc Degree from a recognised university with at least 50% marks with mathematics as a subject in Class 12. Aspirants must fill an online application form DTE Maharashtra portal and then register on MIT AOE's website. 

The NTA has released the exam dates for the JEE Main 2026 Session 2. Paper 1 (BE/ BTech) will be administered between April 2, 2026 to April 9, 2026. The Session 2 registration will open in the last week of January. The applicants are requested to fill the application form available on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
