B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2025

MIT Academy of Engineering, MAEER is not worth.
Placements: 40% of students from my batch have been placed. The highest package is 7 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA, with the average package around 4 LPA. Some of the top companies include JSW, Blue Star, and HNI. Sixty percent of students secured internships through the college with companies like Endurance, Blue Star, and Force Motors. Both technical and non-technical roles were offered by these companies.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available only in the college library and the Internet section. MIT Academy of Engineering has built a new hostel this year, but many students cannot afford college housing. The food quality in the college canteen is fairly good, but the canteen is very small; at one time, only 70 to 80 students can be seated. There are no medical facilities available on campus, and sports activities are not provided.
Faculty: The faculty is well-qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is good, but it lacks practicality in the industrial world. Semester exams can be challenging to pass, but most students manage to do so. The mechanical department's faculty is excellent, with most teachers having obtained their PhDs from institutions like NIT and IIT.
Other: My B.Teach course in mechanical engineering.

The college is good but we have to work hard for placements.
Placements: A good amount of students are placed from our college. One of my friends from 3rd year got the package of 13 LPA from the mechanical branch only. So there is no worry about placements, but we have to work hard for that, and being consistent would be the key.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not so good but they are developing it for good. Classrooms are good but in the summer, we may have some problems as classrooms do not have any AC and only fans are available. Labs do have ACs and the library does not charge any fees for cards. Wi-Fi is available in every building, There are 2 canteens on our campus. The food quality is also good.
Faculty: Faculty members and course curriculum are good. They teach what really is needed in the industry and we have to work hard for papers. All the teachers are helpful and qualified enough to teach us. If we have any doubts, we can ask them, and they will help us.
Other: Our college does not conduct fests often. There is only 1 fest conducted in the whole year. The college campus is a bit small but it is still good.

100% placement college in Pune.
Placements: The percentage of placements in our college is 100% for all branches. The highest package is 23 LPA. The lowest package is 7 LPA. Many of the companies visit our college for placements like Cisco, Mercedes Benz, JSW, Blue Star, Eaton, Wipro, Endurance, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is good. Classrooms are there. The library is also better. It has all types of books. We can take books home for 15 days and again renew them. The canteen is also good. It is very hygienic. We enjoy eating in the canteen. Even we have 4 hour slots for sports in our timetable.
Faculty: Teachers are well-educated with Ph.D. degrees. They are very helpful. They encourage every student to study well and get placements in good companies. Semesters are moderate. They are not too hard. The passing percentage is 95% in our college. Courses are relevant to the industrial background.
Other: I chose mechanical engineering because I love cars. I'm going to try to get placed in an automotive company.

Mixed experience throughout the Acemedic journey, good placement but campus is not so big.
Placements: I'm doing a B.Tech in mechanical engineering (2025 batch). So far, the placement situation has improved, even though there was a recession this year. The major recruiter is JSW, with a CTC of 8 LPA. But the internship opportunities provided by the college for our batch are excellent. They are placing students for internships on a large scale.
Infrastructure: Every department has its own Wi-Fi per floor. Classrooms are big, and ventilation is also good. The library has a wide area for studying, and those who want to read borrowed books from the library have access to a separate space. We (students, faculty members, and staff) have access to the e-library as well. The college has two canteens. The old one is not so good; though the food quantity is higher, the quality is not good. The new one is improving fairly.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified. Most faculty members have Ph.D. degrees, so there is a lot of knowledge to gain from them. The college provides extra courses to prepare students for industry life. For example, there's a course on industry and interview ethics. Also, they take mock interviews every now and then. The exams are not very difficult. There are two exams per semester: the first one is the mid-sem, and the second one is the end-sem. If you score well in the mid-sem, then you just have to focus on passing the subject. Practical exams are easy here.
Other: The college provides specialization for courses, but they provide it as an elective from the third year of the degree, not from the second year.

Good placement in 2022, average infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: This college has average placement for mechanical students. JSW Company is specially for mechanical students. The college also has more opportunities for internships, including international internships in the past few years.
Infrastructure: The classrooms and library are good. The library has a very nice reading room. The hostel is good, and the mess and canteen are nice. The sports facilities are very good.
Faculty: The faculty is very nice, and the teaching quality is good. The semester exams are easy. The pass percentage is 40% in all subjects for all semesters. The semester exams are medium-level, and the college does a good job of preparing students for industry.
