Firstly, very few people sit for campus placement for architecture course since many of them decide to go for off campus placement or higher studies.

Beautiful campus, amazing traveling spots.

Placements: In Mechanical, starting placements are not usually very appealing compared to Electrical branches. If the placement percentage is 85% and the average package is 10 LPA. The lowest is more than 4 LPA. I think it's a good package for a fresher.

Infrastructure: Previously, I was in Aravali Hostel (H15), and it was 1000% a 5-star experience. LAN facilities, 5 ports per person, 3 fans in a triple-sharing room, clean bathrooms, regular cleaning, and the mess were perfect. Now I'm in Kabir Hostel (H6), and it's good but not as good. All our classrooms have AC, labs have AC and LAN facilities, and workshops have a good amount of equipment. Overall, it's quite nice.

Faculty: Teachers are really qualified. We're taught Solid Mechanics by Gulab Pabnani Sir, and he's under AIR 100 in GATE. The quality is amazing. Industry-related and relevant things are taught in the classroom. Midsems are not very hard, but end-sems are nightmares. In our core subjects, average marks are 4/30. The pass percentage is 95% in 1st year but drops gradually as the years move on.

Other: I chose Mechanical because it was the highest I was getting. I made the right choice. I think it's already great here. Of course, there's scope for improvement, but nothing huge is required. There are tons of scholarships available. The two tests here are mind-blowing. A huge number of clubs are formed and work actively.

Good infrastructure and facilities, worth choosing.

Placements: The highest package offered is 30 LPA, the lowest package offered is 6 LPA, and the average package is 9.4 LPA. Internships are around 8 out of 110 students. HPCL, BPCL, and JPMC are the top recruiting companies. The percentage of students placed is 78% this year. Most students are placed in roles such as Graduate Engineer Trainee.

Infrastructure: The classrooms have internet access, air conditioning, projectors, mic systems, new furniture, etc. Hostel conditions vary as per the allotment. The first-year hostel is new and has good infrastructure. The mess food is average. Sports and medical facilities are good. We have a dispensary on our campus with every doctor available once a week and a general physician available daily.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and highly qualified. They teach using proper presentations and in a very interesting way. The course is related to current industry demands. Exams are not very difficult, and one can pass by reading and studying the notes provided by teachers.

Best North Indian NIT with beautiful placements alongside campus.

Placements: Placements here are much better than at other NITs and even better than at some NITs. If you are taking admission here, there is very little chance that you will pass out without placement. A minimum of 7–8 LPA is common here, and the placement process is also very smooth.

Infrastructure: There are fully air-conditioned lecture halls, computer centres, and libraries facilitated by Wi-Fi. The hostels here are average. The girls' hostel may be better than the boys' hostel. The quality of food is actually average if you compare it with the amount of money they charge for food.

Faculty: Faculty here is much more experienced, and it shows in their teaching style. The curriculum here is a little hectic if you compare it with other colleges. But the best part is that you don't have to wait long for the results after the exams. It is because everything from paper setting to examinations to results happens inside the college.

Review of MNIT Jaipur - Malaviya National Institute of Technology.

Placements: Around 70% of students from our course got placed through campus placements. The highest package offered was around 60+ LPA, while the average package was around 12-15 LPA, and the lowest was around 6 LPA. After placement, around 60%-70% of students got internships in experienced architecture firms like Pinnacle, HCP, Sanjay Puri, etc.

Infrastructure: The department is fully furnished, and all types of facilities are provided. Talking about hostel facilities, the food quality is good. Hostel rooms are spacious enough for daily use. All types of amenities are provided in hostel. Regular maintenance is also provided.

Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable. They are experienced and supportive. The curriculum is well-balanced and provides better theoretical knowledge along with practical learning. Teaching quality is also good. Faculty members explain everything in detail. Semester exams are not very difficult, and the passing requirement is 4 CGPA.

Other: Regular events happen. The college location is convenient. All types of facilities available near the college.

Very bad condition of hostels at MNIT Jaipur.

Placements: Though it's among the top NITs, the placement rate is still 70-85 percent depending on the year and the number of companies hiring. 12-16 LPA is the average package. 40-55 LPA is the highest placement range, 7 LPA-9 LPA is the lowest placement range at multinational semiconductor companies such as Samsung, Mediatek, Micron Technology, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, Intel, Moschip Technology, etc. The internship rate in the ECE branch is quite low, around 40-50 percent of students got internship at IIT, IIS, BHEL, BEL, Micron Technology, and Tata Elxsi. Job roles offered are Electronics R&D engineer, ASIC, FPGA, VLSI design engineer, embedded system engineer, and verification engineer.

Infrastructure: Classrooms and washrooms of the academic building are damaged and not in hygienic condition, though some of them are renovated. Similarly, hostel buildings are very old and maintenance of washrooms and the water purifier is neglected, though hostel rent is Rs. 20,000 per year, which is budget-efficient. The mess worker maintains proper hygiene but the layer of colours from the roof peels off and food may be contaminated. Some washrooms of the hostel have water leakage in the roof. Wi-Fi has good enough speed for streaming video and is installed all over the hostel and academic building. Recently, all electronic instruments in labs have been replaced.

Faculty: Teaching quality is good enough that students can go through notes before exams and can score a good CGPA. Another piece of information is that to get an internship, you have to score 8 plus CGPA in every semester. The course curriculum is very much related, for example, computer-aided engineering drawing helps in embedded system design and IC design with minimal space. Other subjects like optical communication, antennas, IoT, and digital signal processing make it easier to understand semiconductors more effectively. The difficulty of the semester exam depends on teachers like if they are happy with the session, the exam would be easier. The pass percentage is not publicly known to everyone. Though teachers are helpful.

Other: According to educational rules, for SC/ST students all tuition fees are free, and for general students whose family income is less than a lac, they get free admission and EWS students get admission with 1/3rd fee payment of 62500 every semester, which makes it very easy to get admission for financially unstable scholar students. The best thing I like about the institute is this, this is why I chose MNIT. Jaipur has good historical places near the institute to visit, like Sisodia Rani ka Bagh. There are multiple playgrounds with playing equipment, and cultural clubs that organise events and fests frequently.

Review of MNIT, Jaipur.

Placements: UG placement report 2024-25 in mechanical 87.88 percent of students got placed. The mean package is 10.74 LPA, the median is 10 LPA, and the highest package is 26.64 LPA. Recruiting companies are Siemens, PSUs, Cummins, Jindal Steel, Tata Motors, and JPMC. Roles offered are financial analysts, design engineers, plant managers, and process engineers (optimisation).

Infrastructure: There are AC integrated classrooms, a library, and a computer centre. Wi-Fi is available in hostel rooms. Some hostels are high quality, others are medium but still under renovation. Medium to good level medical facilities and great opportunity for sports. Single rooms from second year onwards are available.

Faculty: There are very helpful teachers, with exceptions. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant, and the syllabus is regularly updated. Moderate level of difficulty of exams. Above 80 percent is the pass percentage. NIRF ranking is 42. Top-level teachers are also supportive and encouraging.

Other: Mechanical is going to become important in the coming time. Maybe some easier questions before going to tough ones. Best college life possible. Two very big fests every year and hundreds of extracurricular activities along with NCC camps. Many scholarship options are available for each category.
