B.E. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2022

Admission into MJCET is the worst decision you could take in your life.
Placements: Mechanical and civil departments have no placements. In ECE and EEE branches, mass recruiters visit our campus for placements. In CSE and IT branches, about 5-10 students get good placements. The rest can get an average salary package. The placement incharge works like she is doing some part-time job and will post placement links from Google. She contacts you through WhatsApp. There is no placement training given. In front of recruiters, they act like they taught you everything.
Infrastructure: Lift is only available in the IT department. There is no free Wi-Fi on campus. There are old benches, unhygienic classrooms, and washrooms. Forget about lab computers that don't stuck. Most of the equipment in labs and workshops don't work. You must buy everything from college stationery where everything is priced atleast twice.
Faculty: Mostly, teachers are those who themselves have not achieved something in life and when you are about to complete your course, you start feeling that you are a loser. The course curriculum is not updated and you can use 20-year-old notes to pass an exam. Everyone will judge you by your percentage.
Other: It has a good reputation which is a trap. Once you enter the college, you will realise how poor the college is and you can't undo this unless you can afford it.

Placements are much better when compared to many engineering colleges in Hyderabad.
Placements: About 35-50% of students get placed in the year 2021. The highest salary package offered is 16 LPA. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA. A top recruiting company that visits our college for placements is Mahindra & Mahindra. As per mechanical-based companies, many of them are hiring students for the roles of automobile design, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college provides facilities like a digital library, spacious classrooms, sports, labs, students clubs, and a canteen. The quality of facilities is excellent here. The infrastructure of the college is fascinating. A separate block is allotted for sports and games.
Faculty: The quality of education provided here is good. As it is affiliated with Osmania University, the pass percentage is 40%. Semester exams are not too hard. Lab exams are conducted very strictly. Marks are only awarded on the basis of performance, and no grace marks are given to pass the students.

I am satisfied because of the beautiful infrastructure, gardening, sports and placements.
Placements: Placements are frequent in our college. Top companies like Infosys, Microsoft and Tata Consultancy Services offer the best deals in placements. They also encourage young and innovative minds for the better future of the enterprise as well as the welfare of the society.
Infrastructure: Our college is extremely cool and covers a large area with a library having bundles of books and a garden area with numerous plantations. There are 2 canteens, i.e., vegetarian and non-vegetarian, separated with more quantity in the menu. Our college ground is big, and there is a big sports complex for indoor games.
Faculty: Teaching is good. Teachers are well-qualified, and details are explained clearly. Both theory and practical teaching facilities are good. The course has both fundamentals and detailed subject, and I think after finishing course, we can be ready to join industries and cope up easily.

I am somewhat satisfied with our college because of placements and faculty members.
Placements: I am from a mechanical engineering course, and in our class, there are about 60 students. My per semester fee is Rs. 78,000. About 40-25 out of 60 students from our course got an internship in companies like Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Amazon etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not too good, but it is average. Wi-Fi facility is available, and staff members will never share Wi-Fi facility with students, and in case of emergency also. Some times faculty members do not come to the class, and sometimes fans do work in the classrooms. Our college library is the worst, and no books are updated from 7-8 years. The canteen is good, but they sell items costly.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well qualified, but are they not able or want to share their full knowledge with students. Their teaching quality is not good. They teach good only when they want, or else they will take lite to the students. In my opinion, they do not make students industry-ready.

College is right located in heart of the city and it follows ou syllabus, good friendly atmosphere.
Placements: There are no placements for EEE mech and civil where as CSE ECE it have good enough placements every year many of our seniors get placed in good companies like Infosys mahendra tech Amazon digital communications and there are good programs which help in interviews.
Infrastructure: Our college as the one of the best place to study peacefully with greenery every where and have two good canteens have the separate grounds or courts for every sport and also have well designed blocks build which are designed for having no major loss even when natural calamities take place with wide open area and 5 gardens.
Faculty: The faculty are students friendly and helps the best way they can and always interactive with the students and very qualified and experienced never tries to skip the syllabus and always a head of portion schedule and very strict and disciplines in awarding the internal marks.
Other: The mechanical engineering course gives overall idea of mechanical application skills as the mechanical engineering is the oldest branch of engineering have wide range of scope.

The best college located at the center of city.
Placements: Placements for CSE, IT, ECE are very good. Wipro, capgemini, Infosys, etc. Are the regular ones. From this year Cyient, Nissan, etc. Mechanical companies have also come for mechanical and production enggn placements. Core companies for all the branches have been coming to our college for placements.
Infrastructure: Very good infrastructure with spacious rooms and we'll equipped labs. One of the best labs in Telangana state. One and only one college in Telangana which has a operating broiler. Microsoft labs for CSE and IT students. Most of the labs are in AC. The ECE department has the best labs with the latest technology used. IoT and raspberry is used. One of the lab which attracts most is the MCMTE and Manufacturing process lab for mechanical engineering. Students. Not more than 2 students operate on one equipment in all of the labs. This is one of the best thing I have seen here.
Faculty: More than 75+ Ph.D. faculty and the course curriculum is CBCS. Every class is provided best faculty. The faculty is student friendly and encourages and guides for any project. There are two internal tests, assignments and quiz. Marks from all of these are calculated to 25. The faculty is best in explaining the topics. Faculty is ready for doubt calcification any time. The best part is there are no ego issues here.

College is a heaven in the society.
Placements: Our college premises has the best placements for IT companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and all. Regarding as mechanical engineering, this is not my core job though we guys put our scope in all industries, a very few of them get selected from the campus interviews.
Infrastructure: My college is having a vast area located in the centre of the city. I can say that we do not have the gardens in the college, but we have college surrounded by gardens and refreshing environment, this not yet, we also have a mosque on our premises. We have buses for students coming from far, and the library is astonishing.
Faculty: The faculty whom I met for 3 years were always a motivating one. They always appreciate our hard work and sincerity. Whenever we want suggestions for a job after engineering, or we want to study further after engineering, they always welcome, they would give the best way from their experience.
Other: We have fests and events 3 to 4 times a month. Different departments of the college have their fests, but the biggest fest occurs once a year the so-called Adsophos. Our campus is surrounded by a very busy area which has many 5 start restaurants, palaces, public gardens, etc.

Absolutely dissatisfied because for placements, good infrastructure and faculty.Best for IT CSE and
Placements: Yes, it has placements and offers for all branches. Most companies offer IT Jobs which their salaries range from 9k to 40k (approximately. ). Companies like Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Infosys Microsoft, Amazon, Genpact, Samsung, infotech, l&t, etc. And others will be placed yearly. Students should not hold any outstanding (backlogs) for maximum companies. Companies which offers a minimum salary allows the students those who have backlogs ( should not be more than 4 subjects) and for the mechanical branch when I was studying it has only 2 core jobs and they recruit only higher percentage students which are not possible for average students. That's why I am still looking for core or government job. Maximum companies visit the campus (except tech Mahindra) and recruit here. Maximum IT jobs hire BPO, voice process or digital process jobs.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good enough. In this college, here comes the best part of the college since established in 1981 they provide best labs ( especially for mechanical engineering branch) and library too. Wi-Fi also available but you must register and use only via a laptop (not for mobiles). There is a separate room called dispensary used for medical facility and serves well. Not a huge ground for cricket, volleyball, football but still can play for only one sport or one game and good for basketball players and it has good basketball playground. Coming to the classroom, benches have good for some classroom and some for bad. It's not a residential college so it has no hostel rooms. Two types of canteen I. e. , veg canteen and non-veg canteen and both are good neat and clean and desirable prices. Infrastructure is good so no problem with that but it is small when compared to another college as it situated at Banjara hills so they manage their infrastructure small but no issues.
Faculty: At the first year, most of the teachers were most helpful to the students. In the second year, None of them was helpful. All the teachers were a well-qualified minimum M.Tech level. All the teachers have good knowledge in their subjects.25% of the teachers have bad teaching quality. They come just to complete their portion of a subject. The student to faculty ratio was 10:1. But really they have good lab teachers and lab assistants and they have good knowledge and experience too. Industry visit is mandatory for all the students and goes to the industry for checking all the functions and machines of the industry. Sadly I would say course curriculum was not useful for me because of the core companies. They can get more core companies for average students.
Other: Only technical based fest, not cultural fest due to minority college. Events are held on the fest and come from various college to participate the events. Frankly speaking, most of the public comes to watch the girls in our college. Campus surroundings are only with highway roads as it located in Banjara Hills. The scholarship provides to all the students except government job holders.

25% is the minimum cut off for qualifying in TS EAMCET. Which means even if you score 40 marks, you will qualify in TS EAMCET. But mere qualifying doesn't get you a seat.

Hello Omer, There is no quota for minorities. However institutions formed under minorities act are allowed to enroll 50% students from their community. Your JEE Mains rank is a bit low but I feel you have great chance of getting admission in MJ Engineering College.
