B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2024
4.0
Satisfied with the games and college infrastructure but the faculty was not so good.
Placements: In my class, there are 40 members, and the highest package is 18 lacs per annum and the lowest package is 3 lacs per annum. The companies which offer them to my college students are Mahindra, Cognizant, Infosys, Vedantu, etc. And we get the internships.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are good with nice benches and a digital projector and the labs are good with around 30 systems. Every Saturday, we have games like cricket and basketball on the college premises and we have a good canteen with nice food and a good price.
Faculty: Teachers were nice and they will teach nicely but a little bit fast. The pass percentage at our college was 82%. 1st year subjects are easy but 3rd year subjects are hard because the course I chose in college is CSE.
Other: We enjoyed a lot with our batch and we learned many skills after joining this college .

Our college is the best for Computer science.
Placements: Placements are up to the mark. Most students got placed in CSE. Mechanical branch has very less placements. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA and the average salary package is around 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: College has better infrastructure. Labs, classrooms, and washrooms are spacious and clean. Library is big with all the materials. There is no hostel facility on campus. Only girls hostel is available at some distance from the college. Canteen food is costly and not so tasty. Sports are not so satisfying.
Faculty: Faculty is average. Some of the faculty are Ph.D. holders and every faculty have done a minimum M.Tech. They are partially knowledgeable and teaching is not so great. The curriculum is designed by the JNTUH which is not so relevant and does not make students industry-ready for the Mechanical department. The pass percentage is around 60%.
Other: Events take place once a year for 3 days. There are very less extracurricular activities. Scholarships are provided to those who are eligible.

The campus was very good with good infrastructure. I was satisfied and enjoyed with course.
Placements: About 60% of students were placed in my academic year. The highest salary package offered was about 17 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies were TCS, Genpact, Amazon, Byju's, Wipro, Indian Oil, Infosys, etc. Some of them got internships in Jspiders and TCS. Design engineer, analyst, graduate engineer trainee (GET), developer, etc., were the top roles offered to students.
Infrastructure: All the facilities available in the college were above average. We had Wi-Fi, classes with digital projectors, library, labs, NSS room, canteen, sports room medical facilities, etc., that were good. Food was available all the time in the working hours. The hostel was available only for girls.
Faculty: The teaching was good and the teachers were helpful in clarifying doubts. The qualifications of all faculty members were higher level. As our college took students on an industrial visit, we had some knowledge about the industry needs. They made students ready for industry in all ways. The pass percentage was more than 65%. The semester exams were conducted well.
Other: We had a private company named Akella Systems in our college where mechanical students have a chance to get internships. All the fests happened well with all the safety measures. We also had an NSS team and regularly, we went to other events also.

Our college has good facilities and a good infrastructure.
Placements: Students get placed in Mahindra & Mahindra with a salary package of 5.5 LPA. Our college also provides CRT classes to crack interviews, and they also teach additional courses like Java, Python, etc. By learning all these courses, we can get a job in top MACs. Our college is the best to gain knowledge.
Infrastructure: Our college not only gives priority to studies but also to sports. It has a playground for games like football, volleyball, cricket, shuttle, etc. There are separate classes for sports and games. There is a coach and physical education teacher to make us play games.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful, good, qualified and friendly. The pass percentage is 85%. It is the best course curriculum, and it is R-18 with the best topics and concepts. By studying this, we can mentally prepare for industrial jobs. Semester exams are easy if you are thorough with all the concepts. You can score a good percentage in the end exams.
Other: I have chosen this course because mechanical engineering is the father of all the branches, and without it, not a single course can service. It is a royal course. By completing mechanical engineering with AI and Ml courses, we can do Robotics, which is our future.

Infrastructure: Our college provides drinking water, washrooms for men and women, Wi-Fi enabled campus, and our department supporting to industrial visits. For every classroom project with internet connection are there. And the hostel facilities are available for only girls. There is bus facility is also available for both girls and boys. Overall, it is a friendly college with good environment.
Placements: A majority of students choose computer science. Mechanical and civil got the highest package and also computer science. It depends on the percentage of students and company's requirements. The majority of people do internships in central government and mechanical industries.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are great. A playground is available. The labs have all the equipment, and the library has all kinds of books of all authors of subjects. Mess and canteen, medical facilities, sports and games are good.
Faculty: The faculty members have highly-trained skills. They guide the students all the time. The training provided by the faculty makes the students industry-ready.

Labs use old practices.
Placements: Placements completely depend upon the stream, one with CSE gets placed at higher rate than ECE. Meanwhile civil & mechanical have no placements. There is no on campus drives for mechanical and civil students, they just graduate from college without any job.
Infrastructure: College is greenery and clean, it is Wi-Fi enabled campus for namesake. Labs has all the necessary facilities and equipments. Coming to the volume of books in the library, everything is outdated. Incase of important data books, they have old books from 1960,1980 it is not distributed in the curriculum syllabi.
Faculty: Very less pass percentage, some of the teachers are unqualified for their posts. This JNTUH curriculum is ROT LEARNING & don't make students industry ready. Content written in the exam is very unnecessary to the evaluators, they correct papers in other aspects.

There were good placements in 2019 in our college.
Placements: In our college, there were good placements in 2019, and many students got placements but got less salary packages. Compared to the mechanical and civil branch, CSE and ECE branch students got more placements. The highest salary package offered for CSE students was 8 LPA. About 40% of the final year students got placements, which is less.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is good, but its area is less. There are only 2 blocks, and one block is huge, while the other block is small. Our college does not have the EEE branch. The hostel is available only for girls, and the fee for the hostel is Rs. 70,000. The quality of the food served in the canteen is good, and it is maintained neat and hygienic. Classrooms are enough for students, and labs are also good.
Faculty: Faculty members here are very friendly to us, and they also teach well. They all pursued M.Tech and also have a good experience. They interact with students, and they also help us to do internships. They also inform us if any internships opportunities are available outside the campus. Lab faculty members are also good.
Other: I have chosen mechanical engineering, and the best thing about our course is there are more labs in it compared to other branches. Even there is an R&AC lab for us in which they practically show how they built air-conditioners. Our college conducts many extracurricular activities like it arranges useful programs. It also organises a fest, annual day and sports meet. We also got a scholarship of Rs. 35,000 from the government. The interaction between students, teachers and seniors is also good.
