Our college has very good and experienced faculty members with top-notch infrastructure.

Placements: Most seniors I know have got job placements here after studying. Since the start of your semester is pretty difficult, the pressure starts and makes you well-equipped for the industry. The college has a graduation program that's considered semester 8, and they prepare you for jobs and placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is right up there, with attractive visuals on every wall that catch the eye. The canteen food while is a little less on the quantity side, the quality side is off the charts. They have a cycle of meals, and on Fridays the current catering company offers a special meal, like ghee dosa, chappati, chicken, etc. The basketball court is my personal favorite part of the college along with this central amphitheater where most performances happen.

Faculty: Teachers are all people who have been previously in the industry. They have good experience and passion in their field. Most faculty members have worked in and out of the formal industry in their field of expertise. While very strict with their judgment they have made excellent students because without pressure there can't be diamonds.

Other: Events and extra curricular activities all start in January. The variety of events are spectacular and there are events from Pot painting all the way to battle of the bands. There are both inter-college and intra-college events.

Good infrastructure. Placements could be improved.

Placements: Placements were fine. Still college can keep a check on minimum pay scale offered by the recruiters. Almost everyone who SAT for placements got placed. The starting package was around 2.4 LPA and the highest grabbed was 5 LPA. College should be wise to welcome the companies that come for placements.

Infrastructure: It's a well planned architecture. Small but apt to accomodate all the departments and hostels. There are respective workshops for all the departments. The labs are well-equipped. The library is huge and the book collection is good. Special attention is given to cleaniness and hygiene. The cafeteria serves average for on a reasonable rates. The food served is freshly prepared and the healthy. The hostel rooms are spacious.

Faculty: The faculty members are very friendly and helpful. They are well versed in their subjects and motivates us to do our best. Course curriculum is well planned and well designed. Every semester had a new subject to learn. So, making a student learn diverse subjects and decide upon what field to take forward in life.

Other: Lot of exposure to extracurricular activities through fashion shows and annual festivals. Sports area for athletic lovers. Different platforms to showcase your talent.

One of the best fashion colleges in the world.

Placements: The placements offered were pretty good. A lot of prestigious companies like Arvind Brands, Mathura Garments, PC Jewellery and all visiting with amazing offers. Almost 70% of the students got placed with good jobs. The salaries depended on the work of the student, it ranged from 3 lacs per annum to 8 lacs per annum. From the accessory design departments, the students got offers in areas like Visual merchandising, Jewellery design, Furniture design, UI/UX, etc. All the students were provided with good internships as well, 100%

Infrastructure: The classrooms and labs are well equipped. The classrooms have Tv, speakers and projectors. The labs have all the equipment required for the course, and the lab attendant is helpful. NIFT library is one of the best libraries which I've come across. It has the books related to everything in the fashion. The hostels are pretty nice with the inventor system and security guards. The canteen has a mess system and is on a contract basis, which changes every year, which is a good thing.

Faculty: NIFT Bangalore, the accessory department got the best faculty members, who are highly qualified and experienced. The best part is that all of them have an amazing industry exposure and are free to approach. They have amazing knowledge in the field in which they are specialised. They were helpful, not just in the field of the subject, but to make you a successful person in the industry, by guiding you about the projects, career, freelances and a lot of opportunities outside the college as well. The industry exposure was at its best because of the faculty and their contacts.

Other: NIFT Bangalore is one of the best colleges you can choose if you want fashion as your career. The kind of exposure you get inside the college and through the contacts of the faculty members and seniors are amazing. The entire four years in NIFT will mould you to be a perfect person to be in the fashion industry. The campus is very artsy. The architecture is amazing with a beautiful amphitheatre in the middle of the college. The college fests are conducted well.

Entrance Test
Eligible candidates need to appear for the written test i.e Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT) conducted by the college.

Admission is through counseling based on the rank obtained in CAT/ GAT or Situation test score and performance in Group Discussion/ Personal Interview.
