A very good crowd plus a very good campus life.
Placements: DRC's placement cell works on recruitment opportunities, internships, career guidance and corporate interaction. 8% to 18% of students get placements. The highest salary package offered was 21 LPA, and the lowest was of 2 LPA. The average salary pacakge ranges between 5 to 6 LPA. Top recruitment companies are Brain and co., BCG, D.E. Shaw and co., and Tresvista. 60 to 70% of students of B.Com hons secure good internships in their second or third year. Top roles are financial services and auditing.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is not top notch, but the hostel is really good and is very nice comparing to other north campus college hostels. Whereas college infrastructure can be improved. The new building is no doubt pretty, but it can be improved through proper action
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and the curriculum is also very nice being relevant. It does help make students industry-ready. Teachers are very helpful, and they are friendly. All are very qualified plus knowledgeable. Teaching quality is also very good. Semester exams are of a moderate level.

Excellent faculty and vibrant societies, decent placements, but infrastructure could be better.
Placements: Very few students in Botany Hons at Daulat Ram College sat for campus placements, as most of us chose higher studies like M.Sc, research, or B.Ed, or prepare for competitive exams. Because of this, package details aren't really applicable to our course, and no major companies recruited specifically for Botany Hons in my batch. Some of us did short internships and projects at labs and research institutes, mostly through the department or on our own. The roles people moved into were mainly research assistant, lab analyst, and teaching or Science educator positions.
Infrastructure: The Botany department has well-equipped practical labs with microscopes and specimens. Classrooms are decent, though space felt tight at times. The library has a good collection of textbooks and reference material. Wi-Fi is available on campus but not always reliable.
Faculty: Botany faculty are qualified, supportive, and approachable. However, teaching quality varied from teacher to teacher. The curriculum has strong fundamentals but has heavy theory. Hence, it suits higher studies more than direct industry jobs. Semester exams are moderate. Regular studies and good practical files are enough to score well. Most students cleared them.

DRC needs some development in infrastructure and serious attention in placement opportunities.
Placements: DRC can definitely help in providing the right knowledge and will also help in getting the right ways to go ahead in a career. However, when it comes to campus placements, I am certain that I am not getting any opportunities whatever. Not just for my course, which has the smallest batch size, but even for courses like B.Com (Hons), students are stranded when it comes to campus placements.
Infrastructure: Honestly, if I chuck out the new building, our facilities are not such that they earn bragging rights. The lawn is good and is cleaned daily, but still leaflets and some filth can be found on floors. Classrooms are well-equipped with projectors and smart boards. Sadbhawna Bhavan, which is the pride of DRC, also needs some development.
Faculty: Since we have three major subjects, there are different HODs for all. All of them are handy and have made our department a sought-after one. So, faculty members of DRC leave no stone unturned in making sure that students do not just get the basic knowledge, but attain mastery from the college.
Other: The crowd is decent, as we have a lot of girls from states like Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal too. Improvement is needed in hostels and hostel timings for sure.

DRC is rated highly when it comes to academics.
Placements: Having spent almost a year and a half at DRC, I am certain that for placements, I have to look for opportunities elsewhere. Campus placements are quite limited, and even though some students manage to get dream jobs and dream packages, most of them fail at that. The reason for that is not the students, but the management, who fails to bring in enough opportunities for the students in terms of placements.
Infrastructure: Overall, facility-wise, there is no complacency as the DRC campus has nice facilities. There is a girls' hostel, however, it is quite restrictive. The canteen is good, and so is our lawn near the Nescafé kiosk. The new building has really good washrooms, and RO water is available for students on all floors of the building.
Faculty: Faculty members do not lay any obligations on students apart from attendance. The attendance rule is laid down by DU, and our college faculty members follow that strictly. Coming to their teaching, it is world-class, when making us understand the concepts and all, they give their everything so that students find studies easier than they actually are.
Other: One has to closely work with departmental societies, as working in the core group of societies helps us learn managerial skills. DRC has various such societies which help in honing skills apart from academics.

Review of Daulat Ram College.
Placements: The placement cell of Daulat Ram College is quite nice. If you join it in the 1st year, it would be very beneficial for you. The highest package was 23.05 LPA. The average package is 6.47 LPA - 6.50 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, DE Shaw & Co., KPMG, and EKYC.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Daulat Ram College is average. Right now, some work is still going on, like two units for specific SEC papers are under construction. The new building is great. Classrooms are often clean, and hygiene is always maintained. Library is quite spacious. Overall, it's a good and very peaceful college.
Faculty: Faculty members of the Daulat Ram College are qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. They are not very strict. Teaching quality is great, and they teach very well. Semester exams are not very difficult. If you study well and solve previous year question papers, you will be able to score well.

Professors are well-qualified and environment on campus is above average.
Placements: About placements, I do not really know much but I heard quite a lot from my seniors that placements in the college are good. Many students here usually go for placements. Placements must be good as I was told, and since it is my first year I can't tell much.
Infrastructure: Talking about Wi-Fi, it is an issue because it does not work. Although there is Wi-Fi in the library, it does not work at times. About classes, the library, and labs, I find everything okay. I also heard that there are some other Wi-Fis that work well but are not safe.
Faculty: Teachers are indeed helpful, qualified. and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good too. Course curriculum is relevant and it does make students industry-ready. Difficulty of semester exams which I can decipher by PYQ is moderate to me.
Other: The best things about the course are the course itself to begin with, and then our professors.
