Good college with good faculty. The campus is also the best.
Placements: Almost 95% of placements are guaranteed. Companies like Aditya Birla, Myntra, and other comes for recruitment. Seniors said that there are many good opportunities after NIFT. Though it's my first year, I am happy with my decision. I am sure that this college will lead to a good future.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. The campus is very big and nice. There are huge classrooms and labs. Over-timings of labs are scheduled for students. The hostel has good facilities. The mess provides good food. Good rooms are there in the hostel with good security.
Faculty: Teachers help us in all ways. We are trained in a very good manner for further jobs and industry work. Faculty members are well-educated. They have good experience. They have 10-20 years of experience. They are very good at helping students to get success.

NIFT Gandhinagar overview.
Placements: The average package is around 6 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Around 50% of students get placed. Top recruiting companies are ABFRL, Arvind, Nykaa, and First Cry. Almost everyone gets an internship as it is mandatory. The top roles offered for our course are Consultant, Merchandiser, etc.
Infrastructure: We are provided with Wi-Fi, IT labs, PM labs, and sewing labs. The classrooms are well-equipped with AC and smart boards. The hostel is available only for first-year female students, and you can have food from the mess, but they charge for that. You’ll have to pay for one semester. The food is average, and medical facilities are available for students. Sports activities are also offered.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and helpful. They are well-qualified and provide quality knowledge. In this course, we learn everything from management to coding, sewing, etc. The jury is really helpful for students, as it gives us an idea of how we should present our pitch. Mostly, they conduct juries, and there are only a few exams. The passing criteria are 50%.
Other: The course is a blend of both technology and fashion, and since I am interested in both, it was the best option for me. The course makes you industry-ready, as it teaches everything about the industry. There should be more in-depth knowledge provided instead of scattered information. No major events happen, only Spectrum and Converge. The campus crowd is decent. They provide Sarthak scholarships, and small club events keep happening.

There is a diverse college crowd on our campus.
Placements: The placements of NIFT Gandhinagar are not very great. The average salary package offered for B.FTech is around 3 LPA-4 LPA. Students are offered junior positions in the organisation. Some of the recruiters here are Aditya Birla, Decathlon and Classic Fashion (Jordan). There are no 100% placements. But the management makes sure to communicate every offer with the graduating students.
Infrastructure: Our campus infrastructure consists of the academic block, auditorium, an amphitheatre, mess, directors bungalow, girls hostel and guest quarters. The classrooms are spacious and equipped with air-conditioners and Wi-Fi. The food served is good in the mess. There is a visiting doctor as well as a counsellor on the premises. There is a basketball, volleyball and badminton court on the campus.
Faculty: The professors and assistant professors here are well qualified and experienced in the apparel industry. The curriculum and the teaching pedagogy followed here are impressive. The curriculum divides the core subjects into a structured path to learn and grow. Students are also required to choose electives, minors and floating subjects.
Other: The fashion technology course makes it a different graduate experience for students as compared to other engineering courses. The stints of internships, projects and workshops provided here help students to build an interesting resume. There are various clubs and committees in our college named social club, literary club, sports and the cultural club. All the festivals are well celebrated and coordinated on the campus. The annual fest named Spectrum is organised, with the fashion show being the highlight.

An absolute different and cool environment inside campus compared to other colleges.
Placements: Placement while I was in 1st year was great with an average package of 4.5 Lacs per annum. When I was in second year it was average with an average package of 3.5 Lacs and this year average package was approximately 4 Lacs per annum. Companies like future group and Arvind LTD. Offers us placement.
Infrastructure: Our campus is well-equipped with Wi-Fi with a speed of 10mbps. We have basketball court and a cricket pitch to practice. Classrooms are well-equipped with projectors. Sports team we have are cricket team, basketball team, volleyball team. Table tennis, badminton and carrom games are also played. There is an event called converge is organized every year. It's the competition between other NIFT campuses.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful. They are available for help anytime we want. We are regularly taken to industries to get the actual experience of what we are gonna do in future. Student to faculty ratio is 30:1. Teachers here are all qualified few of them even has doctorate degree. The course which is pursue has alot of scope.
Other: We have a fest every year called spectrum. Other than that every year events celebrated in our college are Garba, janmashtami, Hindi pakhwada etc.

One of the leading college of fashion design and apparel manufacturing in india.
Placements: The placement is quite decent as it is a National college. The package varied from 15 Lacs per annum to 3 Lacs per annum. The placement percentage was above 80 percent. 31 companies came for the placement which were apparel maufacturers and design houses.
Infrastructure: The college is well-equipped with all the latest required machinery and support infrastructure. The college has full Wi-Fi connectivity, sports facilities both indoor and outdoor. Dance rooms and music rooms are there for co curricular activities. A good clean and supportive atmosphere.
Faculty: The teachers are all post graduate minimum with some industry experience also. They are selected on the basis of the entrance test that is held on national level. Most of the teachers are National Institute of fashion technology graduate only having good experience to back them.
Other: There are 3 major fests or events that we celebrate. Janmashtmi, garba and the college annual fest I. e. spectrum.

NIFT Gandhinagar. Choose it or regret it.
Placements: Being a National college, placements are always better, with a starting package of 4lpa is good and all depends on the knowledge. Department conduct seminars and expert sessions to make students aware and encourage them to think logically and analytically.
Infrastructure: Oh. Infrastructure is good. Being one of the old centre of NIFT is a benefit. Wi-Fi are installed at every possible corner in campus. Classrooms have centralised A. C. and ergonomically planned chairs. The resource centre/library is updated on regular basis. Sports complex or courts are maintained properly.
Faculty: Faculty members no doubt are knowledgeable here. As compared to others centres faculty members here have more knowledge as exams conducted for recruitment of NIFT faculty members choose NIFT gandhinagar centre first. They are highly qualified and have minimum experience of. Years in respective industry. They are friendly an choose life example to proof any theory or topic related. They conduct regular industry visit to give us exposure of current scenario of industry.

I am well satisfied with all the facilities that are being provided in this college.
Placements: The placement is about 95% of my course.
It depends on your knowledge and creativity too, even if you are in the technology stream.
The companies like Blackberry, Amazon, Raymond, Aravind, and many others have visited the campus. The offered package amount depends on your knowledge.
The maximum package amount can be anything but the least is around Rs. 4 lakhs PA and the average package amount offered is around Rs. 5 lakhs. If you are at NIFT, Gandhinagar then you need not worry about the placements or the internships. You will have the full support of the administration and the faculty members too. The stipend offered during the internship may vary with your companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is awesome and well maintained too. We have a fully Wi-Fi campus and AC classrooms. The library is also air-conditioned. The hostel is available only for the girls, but the rooms are good. They are also well maintained. The labs and the classrooms are well equipped. The food available in the canteen is the best among all the NIFT campuses around the country.
The medical facilities are good, but only up to the mark. It could have been better. They will take you to the nearby hospital, which is around 10 minutes away, in case you are in need.
Faculty: The faculty members are much helpful and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is great including the smart classes and the board-based writing tools. The practical explanations give scope for work and open mind as well. The student to faculty ratio is up to the mark. They hire the guest faculty members too, in case of need. They often take us for the industry visits and exploration. We get good exposure and well, you will too. The course curriculum is also useful. It makes us learn the concepts and further details.
Other: The events are often organised. Every festival is celebrated with enthusiasm. The campus is well surrounded by the trees as the whole city is. The greenery is at its peak. The scholarships are offered to the selected students meeting a particular criterion. The market is located in less than a KMs distance from the campus.

The college has the best faculty, labs, and hostel.
Placements: 100% of the students got placed on the campus. The placements were good but export-centric. The highest package offered was 10 LPA, and the lowest was Rs. 2,40,000 per annum. The companies visiting the campus were Must Garments, Silver Sparks, Arvind Ltd, Madurai Garments etc. Production manager and quality buying roles were offered to the students. 10% of the students got the internship from the college. The highest stipend offered was Rs. 12,000 per month and the lowest was 0.
Infrastructure: All the needed infrastructure and facilities were there for the students. NIFT, Gandhinagar infrastructure was brilliant. The quality of class and the labs were excellent. The hostels are the best across all the centres. The food was good, and the caterer was good. There are no issues about the infrastructure. There were medical facilities once a week.
Faculty: The faculty members were helpful, knowledgeable, and well-qualified. They use PPTs and lots of examples to teach. The student's faculty ratio was 10:1, and it was good. The ample of industry exposure was given to the students. The course curriculum was brilliant to be utilised in any department.

You can get into pretty much any campus yet, Mumbai and Delhi are a little difficult to get in in your case. Do check the last merit ranks admitted in 2017 to get an idea.
