No, NIFT Hyderabad don’t take admission directly, for admission in NIFT Hyderabad the candidate should appear for NIFT Exam. The applicants will be shortlisted for the further proceeding of admission on the basis of marks secured in NIFT Exam i.e., CAT and GAT. The application process of NIFT Exam is listed below:

1. Apply online through official website of the NIFT, fill the required details and submit the application form.
2. After that the applicant should pay the application fee of INR 3000 and INR 1500 as per the category.
3. The date and other information will be communicated to the candidates via email.
4. Download Admit Card, appear for NIFT Exam, and check for results and appear for counselling process and seat allocation for successful candidates.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology  provides undergraduate and graduate-level courses. NIFT Bhopal offers numerous undergraduate courses, including BDes Fashion Technology and BDes Textile Design. Applicants who want to get admitted to BDes must take the NIFT Entrance Exam and then attend NIFT Entrance Exam Counselling., in accordance with the NIFT Bhopal cutoff 2023. Although a percentile score of 75% on the NIFT exam is good, admission is ultimately determined by a number of factors, including candidate performance, available seats, previous year's cutoff, etc.

NIFT entrance examination is Institutional based examination which will only help you to get into NIFT whereas UCEED is a common Entrance Examination which is accepted by many design colleges and universities. So if you plan to get into only NIFT then you do have to give NIFT Entrance Exam but if you plan to apply in many universities then UCEED is a better option as you'll have many university choices and you can get admission on the basis of UCEED score.
