There is the best infrastructure with good placements and faculty members.

Placements: LPU is known for its placements record. Top MNCs recruit students of LPU to work for them. Every year many multinational companies visit LPU to recruit students. From the bachelor of design product and industrial design, above 60% of students were placed through campus placements. The average salary package offered is around 5 LPA, whereas the highest salary package offered was 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies here were Amazon India, Air Vistara, Barbeque Nation and some product-based firms.

Infrastructure: LPU has above 11 libraries with more than 20 lacs books and also E-books in different fields. The classrooms are very spacious and well maintained. There are also completely equipped Apple Mac labs, Cisco labs, multimedia labs and many more. They all are well furnished and user-friendly. Wi-Fi is also available on the campus. LPU has the most beautiful hostels with good ventilation and provides good and healthy food in the mess and canteen. There is also a university hospital inside the campus in case of medical emergencies. LPU is known for its diversity in sports, and students who are interested in any kind of sports are always supported. In Tokyo Olympics 2020, about 11 LPU students represented India in various fields.

Faculty: Most qualified and well-educated faculty members are provided in LPU. They teach us with almost complete knowledge and the best quality of learning. The curriculum is very well explained. The knowledge provided here is mostly practical and industrial-based, which helps students in their future. The end-term examinations conducted in our course are mostly presentations of the whole portfolio made in the semester.

Other: I am from B.Des product and industrial design. I chose LPU because, in India, it is one of the best universities for design. LPU also provides many scholarships for most of the students. We can see the diversity of people in LPU from many countries around the world.

There is good infrastructure, but there are average teaching and placements.

Placements: The placement rate is 50% here, but the average salary package offered is very low compared to other reputed colleges. The role offered in our course is a product designer in the company. The placement rate is very less, and maybe it will increase in future. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA.

Infrastructure: The food and room services of the hostel are good, and there are laundry and Wi-Fi facilities. Hostels are safe and peaceful to study, and everything is done according to time. Warden takes attendance of students regularly. Security staff members are available day and night. There are cameras and fire extinguishers on every floor.

Faculty: The teaching is average because half of the faculty members are highly engaging, while others just do their work for the sake of jobs. The exam system needs a lot of changes. Marks are given inappropriately. The grading system needs to be changed. Some teachers don't focus on teaching.

Other: I chose product design because it gives opportunities and challenges to problems. I wish that the fee should be half of the total fee, at least in the pandemic period, because our university doesn't provide opportunities to work in the workshop. We miss our practical syllabus.

Dissatisfied because of no design faculty. Teaching quality is good.

Placements: 60% of students were placed in product and industrial design course, the highest package offered is 9 lacs per annum and the lowest package offered is 4 lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, Trident, some private design studios, architecture firms.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our design department is excellent there is our design library where all design related books are available. Classrooms with projectors are there, 24 hours Wi-Fi is available for students sometimes speed and connectivity is slow, workshops are available for us for practical handwork.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified to their degree knowledge but not related to our product and industrial design department. The faculty is of other departments there is no product design faculty teaching. Teaching quality is good but it can be better if there is design faculty.

Other: I choose this course because I was into design.

Great campus good infrastructure.

Placements: My senior batch got placement in various companies like Tata Mahindra and others will get several other options and chance to work with other companies via internships and get a good experience. You will get chance to choose your favourite type of the company to work.

Infrastructure: All the campus is loaded with Wi-Fi, and there are many opportunities for you. If you like other curricular, classrooms and workshops are also good so many social activities, games.dance and there is a DSA (Division of student affairs) where you can take part in others programmes like entrepreneurship and social group and get certificates.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful and supportive, stand by you to clear your doubts and guide you through your course. You can also discuss after the class by making an appointment will feel free to ask your doubts and questions about your topics. You can ask more if you are not satisfied.

Other: There are so many events that happen inside the university to take part and enjoy. You can take part and can add your name to the fame.

I recommend students join this university.

Placements: Students should score about 60% in academics to get admission to this course, and we need to give the university entrance exam. The top roles offered by different companies are industrial designer, product designer, and textile designer. I am currently in the 2nd year, and till now, nobody got placement.

Infrastructure: I have not gone to the university because of the COVID period, but as I have heard, everything is good. I am attending online classes. All facilities are good. I have seen in youtube videos that the infrastructure is very good. The best thing I like about our university is that they make their own electricity.

Faculty: The pass percentage in the previous year is 71%, and everything is good here. All teachers are helpful and qualified. They always get ready to help us even after classes. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. Exams are not much difficult because our faculty members teach us well and make us understand the topics.

Other: I have chosen this course because I am interested in doing sketches and digital art. In this course, I can put my innovative skills and can do inventions. I hope our university should open soon so that I can experience more.
