NIPER Mohali MBA Courses & Fees 2025: Eligibility, Admission Process, Entrance Exam

National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (NIPER), Mohali, offers an MBA (Pharm) lasting two years. Admission to the programme is strictly entrance-based. Aspirants must appear for the NIPER JEE exam conducted for centralised admission process across all NIPERs. Further, it is compulsory for aspirants to appear for GPAT/GATE/NET/any other National Fellowship to be eligible for admission to all master's programmes at NIPERs. After appearing for the NIPER JEE, candidates are called for a Group Discussion (GD). Furthermore, they must fulfil the course-specific eligibility criteria prescribed by the institute and present all the supporting documents during the physical counselling. Yes, NIPER Mohali offers a full-time Master of Business Administration (MBA). The PG-level programme is offered in one specialisation, i.e. Pharmaceutical Management. The course lasts two years. It is offered to aspirants who have completed their BPharm/ BTech (Chemical Engineering or equivalent)/ MSc (Chemical/Life Sciences) with the minimum aggregate required. Selection of prospective MBA students is based on their performance in NIPER JEE, followed by a Group Discussion (GD) and counselling. NIPER Mohali offers various PG-level and PhD courses in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The PG-level courses include MS (Pharm), MPharm, M.Tech (Pharm), MBA (Pharm). In all these courses, NIPER reserves seats for various categories as per the prevailing rules of the Government of India. These categories include SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwD, etc.

Additioanlly, some supernumerary seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the following categories:

• 5% of the seats (over and above the total intake) are reserved for candidates sponsored by the Government Departments/ Research and Development Organisations / Public Sector Undertakings/ Reputed Private Pharmaceutical Enterprises
• 5% of the seats (over and above the total intake) are reserved for Foreign Nationals/OCI/PIO categories
• 3% of the seats (over and above the total intake) are reserved for the PwBD category

The NIPER will release the admit card/hall ticket soon after the registration process is over. The NIPER JEE 2026 admit card will tentatively be released in online mode at the official website in June 2026 as per previous year records. The authorities will release the admit card in official website of exam conducting NIPER's only. 

No. Applicants cannot submit the NIPER JEE 2026 application form by post. The application process will be conducted completely online and candidates can apply by visiting the official website of NIPER JEE. After filling the application form, students need to pay the application fees as well.  

NIPER JEE 2026 application forms might be released in April 2026. The institute will release the NIPER JEE application form in online mode at the official website. Candidates are required to fill out the forms online. Students are advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form of NIPER JEE 2026.

Out of 249 MPharma graduates 200 were placed during the 2022 placements. This makes the placement rate 80%, which was the highest in comparison to the last three years (2020 to 2022). The institute concluded the 2022 placement session with 80% of the MPharma batch placed. Earlier, the placement rate for 2021 was comparatively less and the percentage stood at 64%.
