A good part of my life - me learning life lessons at NGF.
Placements: 40 to 50% students in my batch are working right now. Some are preparing for government jobs as they aspire. Average package ranges from 2 to 2.7 LPA. Tech Mahindra, etc. visit here. 10% students got internship but not paid ones. Roles offered were related to Quality assurance engineer, Design Engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: Machine lab is very good. Refrigeration and air conditioning lab is very good. Fluid mechanics lab and cad-cam lab is good. Classrooms are big and some have air conditioning. Library is big and it has a large number of books available to issue for 10 days. Hostel rooms are good with balconies. Some monkeys also come and go from the college. Coolers and Acs (cost 10k per year) according to the choice of the students. Mess is good and food is usually good. Cricket field is available and football, basketball and volleyball courts are available. A decent gym is present and a vehicle for emergency purpose is available. Basic medicines are available with warden who is very cooperative and mess staff is also good.
Faculty: Teachers available are qualified and very helpful. Teaching quality is very good. Course curriculum is relevant, it makes students ready for industry. Semester exams are difficult and pass percentage is 40-50. Overall, above average teachers are there.
Other: I wanted to be a mechanical engineer which is why I chose this course. Good labs and a number of industrial visits are conducted. Students from industries visit our college. Entrepreneurship seminars are also given. Use of more technology in classroom learning would have been very good and more number of assignment and surprise tests should've been there. Events are good, organised by faculty and students working together. Campus crowd is good but not very well behaved. The college is on national highway but railways (10km) and airports are very far. Road connectivity is good. State government scholarship is provided to Meritorious and needy students from respective states. Annual college fests are conducted every year.

I am absolutely dissatisfied due to the placement of this college. It has a zero percent placements.
Placements: Placement is not good, it's below average. The toppers of my batch were offered Rs. 7,000 per month of salary. NCR region companies visited for the placements, but they are not very good companies. Hr department of the company takes the interviews. Overall, the placement is not good in this college.
Infrastructure: The Infrastructure is good. Also, the area of the college is very big with a Wi-Fi campus, a big library with the easy availability of the syllabus books, a very big ground for sports, a good teaching faculty, and well-equipped labs with good quality hardware of PC's, CCTV cameras installed in the campus. The hostel mess food is also not of good quality.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified, having around more than 5 years of experience. Some have around 20 plus years of experience. Their teaching quality is average, and they also use projector & demo models for teaching. Also, Hods of all the department are good, and the discipline of the college is also good. The fees structure is average.

I am highly disappointed because of the faculty members and placements.
Placements: I am part of the 2015-2019 batch. We had the best batch out of all in that period and with the good results that we got in practical and even in theory, we were expecting to get placements. However, only 1 mechanical company arrived for placements of the mechanical stream. The company that came was Ottoman Industries Pvt Ltd, which is situated in Palwal, and only the toppers were given the chance for interviews which is really sad. Only 1 student got placed in our batch with the role of GET.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that good. Wi-Fi is not available in the college, and even in the lab. It is only usable in their own systems. The library is really good though with all the books. The food quality and facilities at the hostel are good.
Faculty: Teachers are quite inexperienced according to the curriculum and are not that helpful. They lack the proper practical knowledge to make us understand. The course curriculum should focus on practical things and it focuses more on theory. Exams are not hard or easy to say. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose the B.Tech in mechanical because it is always that I wanted to do as I am more learned with technology and machines. The best thing about this course is that it helps us a lot in our professional careers.
