The programme is offered in the following two categories at NIT Jamshedpur: 1. Institute Research Scholar (RS) which is a stipendiary. 2. Sponsored Scholar (SS) which is non-stipendiary and is only applicable to candidates employed in reputed industry/government organizations/research institutions and with a minimum experience of five years. Generally, registration for Autumn Semester at NIT Jamshedpur begin in July/August and Spring Semester in December/January. The eligibility and more details of the course is given below:
