NIT Jamshedpur Infrastructure Details & Reviews ,

Infrastructure: Not great infrastructure, but two new hostels, one for boys and one for girls, are excellent. Otherwise, other hostels are not that good. Also, we don't have our own auditorium, but we do have an open-air theatre where nearly all events and fests take place.

Infrastructure: Except for hostel L for boys (which is the new hostel provided for first years this year) and a new hostel for girls, all other hostels are a total mess. Students face huge discomfort as the range of Wi-Fi is not so great. In hostels, there is irregularity in the water supply.

Infrastructure: All the 1st hostels in this college are better than any other NITs, but for the 2nd year, 3rd year, and 4th year, don't expect more from this college. The mess food is not at all good. You have canteens in your 1st year hostel at night time which open at 6 pm.

Infrastructure: For 1st year student hostel L is allocated, which is new and modern with a good wifi and LAN facility. So overall, there is no issue with the internet. A smart, well-equipped classroom with modern infrastructure. Food quality is fine, better than other hostels where I lived, and they maintain proper hygiene also.

Infrastructure: Hostels are top-notch, the new Birsa Munda hostel is on par. I have attached an image of the hostel. The library and labs are not that well-equipped. We have a dispensary which has all basic medicines, and an ambulance service is available 24 hours around the campus.

Infrastructure: Hostel, I would rate 5 above and more especially, the hostel is at the level of IITs and above any NITs hostel. Cleanliness in the hostel is also top-level, sweeping machines are used. Mess food, I would rate 4.5. Non-Veg is very good. Veg students have to suffer a little bit. Medical, I would rate 5. There is always an ambulance available 24/7, and there are doctors for stress and anxiety. Also, one of my classmates has anxiety problems, so the college authority takes it seriously. Infrastructure: Speaking of academic facilities and infrastructure, lectures are taken in a new lecture hall, which has all facilities, Wi-Fi, LAN, a projector, and a library is near the lecture hall, so you can study after attending lectures. Labs of all subjects are in the old academic building, the labs' infrastructure is a bit old, fans are there, but in peak summers, they're of no use. The equipment and machinery of some labs are new, but some are of the old kind, but good if you're in robotics, electronic...

Infrastructure: The Mechanical Engineering department has good infrastructure, including well-equipped labs and smart classrooms with projectors. The high-speed Wi-Fi is available across the campus. The central library is large, air-conditioned, and has enough books and journals. Hostels are very good but less maintained, with issues like water problems and Wi-Fi issues. The food quality is average, but you can eat. The grounds for sports are very good, and the sports infrastructure is good.

Infrastructure: The first-year hostel is great. It is newly built. It is a 2-seater hostel. The hostels for other years might feel old and in poor condition, but they are the same as other hostels in India, and they are single-seater. The lecture hall is great. The mess food is bad. For girls, they have built a new hostel, which we do not know if they will allot to first years or not.

Infrastructure: In our college, there is only one gym, which is very small in size. The gym in our college just opened this year in August. Also, there is one cafeteria in our college, and the price is reasonable for the food. The library in our college is the only one. The library opens at 10:00 AM and closes at 9:00 PM. The hostel timing for boys is approximately 11:00 PM, and for girls is 9:00 PM. Wi-Fi all over the campus with CCTV security. Classrooms are spacious and digitally updated.

Infrastructure: Hostels are allotted to each student in the college. For the first year, a single room is shared with 2 students, while in the second year onward, a single room is allotted to single students. The mess food quality is not so good. The library is full of books and books. You'll get newspapers and magazines too, and there is a Hindi sahitya section in the library which is full of golden Hindi literature books. Infrastructure: Our department has very good facilities. There is Wi-Fi, the lab equipment is in great condition, and classrooms are clean, spacious, and have projectors. The library is huge with over 2 lakh books. The medical and sports facilities are excellent. The hostels may be a bit old and not ideal for second-year students, but they are fine for others. The only drawback is the food in the mess, which I would rate 2 out of 5.

Infrastructure: Even though the overall infrastructure is just average, the campus Wi-Fi, well-maintained labs, comfortable classrooms, and large library make a big difference. Since the library has so many books, students don’t need to spend much on outside materials. There are transport facilities and on-campus housing too. The mess is clean, and the food is decent, but it could use a few more favourites.

Infrastructure: The lecture hall is good, and each classroom is equipped with air conditioning. Other buildings are not that great, but the boys' hostel for 1st year is the best, newly built, and can be considered as one of the best hostels among NITs.

Infrastructure: College had some pretty solid infrastructure and decent amenities. The campus housing it's actually quite comfy and pretty well-managed. A lot of students prefer living there. As for the food service, it's alright, it gets the job done, nothing too fancy.
