NIT Manipur NIRF Rankings 2025 are out. NIT Manipur has been ranked under the band '151-200' under the 'Engineering' category by the NIRF Ranking 2025.
A few more updates are given below:
- The IIT JAM 2026 exam date for admission to the MSc course is Feb 15, 2026.
- The CSAB Special Counselling 2025 Round 3 has concluded with the announcement of the seat allotment results for admission to BE/BTech courses.
- The GATE 2026 exam for admission to ME/MTech/PhD courses will be conducted on Feb 7, Feb 8, Feb 14, and Feb 15, 2026.
- The JEE Main registration 2026 is now open for admission to BTech, BArch, and BPlan courses. The registration deadline for session 1 is Nov 27, 2025, and the exam will tentatively be conducted between Jan 21 and Jan 30, 2026.

As per the IIIT Allahabad cutoff 2023, the Last Round closing rank for BTech ranged between 5924 and 9558, among which Information Technology was the most competitive specialisation. The Round 1 closing rank for BTech ranged between 4817 and 8428 for BTech.
So, considering the previous year Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks, candidates seeking admission to IIIT Allahabad must secure a rank over and above 4800 and 9600 for the General ALL India category candidates.

Getting admission in NIT Manipur requires candidates to qualify specified entrance exams. Candidates wishing to get admission in BTech need to pass JEE Main followed by JoSAA Counselling. The select left vacant after completion of the JoSAA Counselling are filled by CSAB Counselling.
For other courses such as M.Tech and MSc, selection is based on GATE and IIT JAM score, respectively. The cutoff for BTech, M.Tech and MSc courses is released by the respective counselling bodies. Whereas, for PhD admission, the institute releases merit lists based on the entrance exam score.
NIT Manipur admission to BTech is based on JEE Main score. Candidates are selected through their past academic scores and rank obtained in JEE Main exam. After the commencement of all the selection rounds, candidates have to register for JoSAA Counselling process. The final seat allotment is done through JoSAA Counselling process. NTA has announced the JEE Main 2026 exam date for session 2. JEE Main 2026 session 2 exam will be held from April 2 to 9, 2026. JEE Main 2026 session 2 registration will start in January last week. The JEE Main Application Form 2026 session 2 will be available on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE 2026 session 1 exam will be conducted from January 21 to 30.
NIT Manipur JEE Main cutoff 2025 has been released for round 1. The cutoff was released for candidates belonging to the All India quota. Among the General AI category candidates, the closing ranks in round 1 varied between 26617 and 51493. Among the OBC AI category candidates, the cutoff ranks varied between 9699 and 15960. You can get CSE in GFTI as per the JoSSA counselling cutoff last year. You cannot get any branch, like CSE, ECE in NIT at this rank.
