GATE CCMT R1 has been released for admission to the M.Tech courses. Candidates seeking admission to the NIT Manipur MTech course must secure a rank between 350 and 357 under the first cutoff list for the General category students. Candidates need to pass GATE to get a seat in NIT Manipur M.Tech programme. NITM offers seats under Sponsored and Self-Sponsored Category. After qualifying GATE, candidates are required to come for CCMT Counselling.

Candidates need to pass Bachelor's degree in relevant subjects with at least 60% aggregate or equivalent (55% aggregate for SC/ ST/ PwD) to apply for NIT Manipur M.Tech course. NIT Manipur offers a full-time M.Tech programme of two years. Students are shortlisted based on academic qualification and entrance exam scores. NIT Manipur M.Tech is offered in various specialisations such as Computer Science Engineering,  VLSI Design and Embedded Systems, etc. 

Getting admission in NIT Manipur requires candidates to qualify specified entrance exams. Candidates wishing to get admission in BTech need to pass JEE Main followed by  JoSAA Counselling. The select left vacant after completion of the JoSAA Counselling are filled by CSAB Counselling.
