- The GATE 2026 registrations are ongoing for admission to ME/Mtech and PhD courses, and the deadline for registration with late fee payment has been extended to Oct 13, 2025. The GATE 2026 exam dates are Feb 7, Feb 8, Feb 14, and Feb 15, 2026.
- The XAT registration process 2026 is now open for MBA/PGDM courses. The last date to register is Dec 5, 2025. Furthermore, the XAT 2026 exam will be held on Jan 4, 2026.

NIT Manipur Admission Overview 2025
NIT Manipur admissions are primarily entrance-based. BTech is the flagship course of NITM, admission to which is based on JEE Main rank followed by JoSAA Counselling. For other courses such as MTech and MSc, GATE and IIT JAM scores are considered for admission. NIT Manipur offers UG, PG and doctoral courses through 10 departments.
