Wonderful campus life, hardworking teachers but reluctant placement cell about masters students.

Placements: About 70% of students are placed, mostly engineering students in various industries like IT sector, electronics, and some PSU sectors. The average salary is 5 LPA. Top companies like BPCL and L&T take part in the placement drive, but it lacks opportunities for M.Sc students.

Average placements, new campus, average mess food, overall a very average college.

Placements: The placements at NIT Meghalaya have been very average, or even below average, for the last two to three years. This year's placements were rather dull, and no big IT companies participated in the on-campus hiring session. Most of the students who got good packages either got them off-campus or had PPOs from their internships.

New campus life starts, but we'll enjoy yourself.

Placements: Placements at NIT Meghalaya are not so good these days, but they are better than last year. Most of the good placements were recorded in the mechanical section, which were on campus. The good placements in the IT sector were grabbed off campus. So, our placements depend on our performance.
