Worth taking over any private institutions or state government colleges
Placements: The placement records are really good, on average, around 93-97% of eligible students get placed here, with the average package of around 8 LPA, and the highest packages lying between 21 and 45 LPA in recent years. Top recruiting companies include NVIDIA, VISA, Microsoft, Juspay, Accenture, HSBC, TCS, L&T, Vedanta, Deloitte, etc. Almost all the students get internship offers for both industrial and research, and many students get selected for GATE with good ranks and PSUs as well.
Infrastructure: Hostels and the college cafeteria serve both veg and non-veg (Egg & Chicken) items, and all basic facilities are provided promptly, like water supply, 24/7 electricity & WiFi, washing machines, etc. Smart classrooms and well-equipped labs are present. The library is really good and facilitates most of the requirements for students. Hostel facilities are nice, however, it depends on the current particular hostel cook, as per the taste of the mess food. Generally, it is served nicely and healthily. Academic block 4 has been allotted for medical facilities, and it serves as a well-equipped healthcare center, with annual checkups for all and all basic facilities.
Faculty: The faculty is really supportive and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is too good. Relative grading is being followed, and the course curriculum is also good across all disciplines. Additionally, workshops for hands-on experience keep getting organized many times each semester, which indeed helps students to excel more. The exposure, peer group, and availability of opportunities are the plus points.
Other: The best thing is supportive faculties, wardens, and hostel mates. The environment of Aizawl is really good, neither scorching summer nor too cold winters, nor an always-raining atmosphere. Events are organized each semester. There are no connectivity issues as a sufficient number of buses have been provided to all the hostels, which are managed by student representatives only, by informing hostel caretakers. It takes around 10-20 minutes on average to reach the academic blocks from the hostels. Scholarships are provided to most of the students unless their family income is more than 5 LPA. Grounds and courts get booked every Saturday for sports activities.

NIT Mizoram review: peaceful campus and growing opportunities.
Placements: Placement of NIT Mizoram is good. 80 to 90% of students are placed. The average package is 8 LPA, and many companies are visiting the campus like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, etc. This year, one student got an internship at Nvidia. Placement is improving year by year, and on-campus internships are being provided by companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at NIT Mizoram is decent and improving year by year. Classrooms are clean and well-maintained, and laboratories are adequately equipped for regular academic work. The library has sufficient books for students. Hostel facilities are basic but comfortable, with regular water and electricity supply. Wi-Fi is available but not working properly. The mess food quality is average and manageable. The campus is peaceful, safe, and surrounded by natural beauty, which provides a good environment.
Faculty: Faculty at NIT Mizoram are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and mostly supportive. Teachers are approachable and help students with doubts both inside and outside the classroom, focusing on core subjects along with basic industry exposure. However, students need to put in extra effort on skills to become fully ready. Semester exams are easy and based on lectures, assignments, and internal assessments. With regular study, exams are manageable.
Other: I chose this course because it was the last option for me. I think this course is good. I study related to my course and am improving. There is no permanent campus, and connectivity is not good.

A rapidly improving new gen NIT in Northeast India.
Placements: I can tell the placement happened here, and also good kind of placement. But it is limited to few companies and little to no tech giants. The placement percentage is exceptionally good. We just have to work really hard here because there is certainty that we will be placed but package depends on our hardwork.
Infrastructure: Hostel and its facilities are actually really good ofcourse it's an NIT but sometimes water issues are there. Some people may not like the food on some days of week. We have a restaurant down the hostel so hostel life is good. Doctor is available 24X7, and medical facility is actually free. There is a little Wi-Fi issue in hostel but in college it works really fine.
Faculty: Faculty members are really knowledge with almost all having Ph.D. from IIT/NIT. The curriculum is every bit relevant to modern requirements as well as for GATE and any engineering related government jobs. Semester exams are easy if we follow the teachers just remember to have above 7.

NIT is enough. Good placements, and this college is improving time by time.
Placements: This year, the campus selection percentage is 86%, with the highest package at 33 LPA and an average package of 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Infosys, Tata, Wipro, Mahindra, Adani, Vedanta, Deloitte, Ashok Leyland, Juspay, and Larsen and Toubro, and almost 90% of students get internships at top IITs, Microsoft, Central Railway, Airport, and BSI.
Infrastructure: Although we don't have a proper campus, there are different blocks for every branch. The hostel infrastructure is really good, and every morning you get a mountain view. Proper food and security are provided. We have well-equipped labs, a central library, digital classrooms, and reliable internet connection. There are canteens in both the hostel and college, and proper hygiene is maintained. However, sports facilities are not available.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They teach at an average level, but they are helpful. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are tough, but since the students are NITians, 90% of them pass.
Other: As my branch is ECE, I can get both software and hardware jobs. We have freshers, cultural fest, tech fest, Durga Puja celebration, and Holi celebrations. We also get scholarships. From time to time, some competitions are held. We have a sports fest too. Our college also represents in inter-NIT sports.

How life goes in NIT Mizoram.
Placements: Last year, more than 90 percent of students were placed. Right now, the highest package is 21 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average package is 9 LPA. Our top recruiting companies are Juspay, Vedanta, Adani Wilmar, etc. Many of our students get internships in companies and colleges like BIS, NTPC, NITs, and IITs.
Infrastructure: To be honest, our college doesn't have a campus, but we have proper labs, classrooms, Wi-Fi, and a library. Hostel facilities are good, with good maintenance. Geysers, fans, and beds are provided by the college. The food quality is good, but the taste is average. There is a medical help center that every student can access. Our college also encourages students to participate in sports events like Inter NITs and conducts a sports fest every year.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified and teach very good. They are knowledgeable and always ready to clarify our doubts. The course curriculum is relevant to our department, blending Mathematics, Physics, and Material Science very well. Exams in our department are not so difficult, and almost every student is able to pass, except for very few students. Around 90 percent of students pass exams.

It has a good academic environment and a growing infrastructure.
Placements: I am currently pursuing B.Tech. in Mathematics and Computing. Students get placed in my course. The highest package is 46 LPA, and the lowest package is 9.7 LPA. The average package is 15.3 LPA.
Infrastructure: There are separate hostels for both boys and girls with good security and 24x7 Wi-Fi. It has clean and spacious rooms either single or shared with necessary furniture. The water environment is peaceful, making it ideal for students. The mess is also good. It has high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity across the campus.
Other: The campus has a diverse student community from different states of India. It has supportive faculty members and seniors who help juniors in academics and projects.
