NIT Mizoram admissions is entrance-based. For admission to its BTech programme National Institute of Technology Mizoram accepts the JEE Main scores followed by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling. For admission at MTech programmes, NIT Mizoram accepts the GATE scores, respectively. The BTech programme offered at the UG level is available in five specialisations, M.Tech is offered across four specialisations and the PhD course is available through nine departments of the institute.
