NIT Mizoram Placements 2026: Highest Package, Average Package, Top Recruiters

NIT Mizoram has released overall placement data for the year 2025. As per the report, 97% students were placed in 2025.

The highest package offered during NIT Mizoram placements 2025 was INR 35 LPA.

During NIT Mizoram placements 2025, 100% placements was recorded in EE and ME branch. Placement rate recorded in CSE, ECE and CE branch was 96.7%, 96.4% and 92.9%.

The NIT Mizoram University does not take any direct admissions. In order to take admission for any engineering course in NIT Mizoram one has to undergo JEE Mains examination, and has to score a valid ranking according to the cutoff released. This is followed by JoSAA counseling and CSAB counseling. Eligibility criteria includes 75% aggregate in 12th class and JEE Mains score.

NIT Mizoram BTech cutoff 2025 for the OBC AI category ranged from 10144 in the first round to 118197 in the last round. For the OBC HS quota, the cutoff was only released for the BTech CSE course. The cutoff in the first and last round was 349722.

NIT Mizoram offers a wide range if undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral-level programmes in the field of Engineering, Technology, Arts and Science. The BTech programme offered at the UG level is available in five specialisations, M.Tech is offered across four specialisations and the PhD course is available through nine departments of the institute.

Yes,it is worth taking over any of the private institutions or state government colleges. Most of the people are either from North India or from South India,dominated by Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal including almost all of the Indian states and UTs. All the NIT Mz hostels and college cafeteria get served with both veg and non veg(Egg & Chicken) items,all basic facilities like water supply, washing machine,a good and healthy physical and mental environment,etc. nurturing good atmosphere, yes there are lil complications in living in Mizoram for locals,like water shortages and all, but NIT Mizoram provides all the required facilities to its students timely and has got too supportive faculties and wardens.
