The college doesn't provide a good way for internships and also, the branches like chemical and metallurgy have a very low placement ratio.

Dissatisfied with the infrastructure.
Placements: Top recruiting companies in our college are TCS and Infosys. The average and median packages are also decent with 10 LPA and the highest package is about 40LPA. The placement rate is about 80 percent and 504 students out of 775 registered students got placed in campus selection.
Infrastructure: It has been like 3 months since I got admission in NIT Srinagar and it has really been a very wonderful time. The campus is really beautiful with a lot of greenery and trees. The classrooms are also comfortable along with good professors and nice wardens. The overall environment of the campus along with students is also very refreshing.
Faculty: The faculty is very good with high knowledge and good teaching skills and they are also very friendly to ask doubts and to gain knowledge. The course curriculum is also relevant and they make students industry ready with good coding skills by conducting coding clubs and hackathons.

Really good infrastructure, a great view and a satisfying campus life await.
Placements: I'm in the ECE department, and it has a strong placement record with an average package of 10.75 LPA and the highest package of 36.5 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Tata Motors, etc. Many students go for an IT role rather than a core one, so no problem of placement here.
Infrastructure: NIT Srinagar has a well-equipped lab for every branch that includes both modern and developing facilities. Hostels are also good with Wi-Fi facilities and LAN connections in every room, and there's no problem with connectivity. The quality of food is average, and medical and sports facilities are very good.
Faculty: Facilities at NIT Srinagar are good and well-qualified, they are great in their professions, and they teach the relevant curriculum. Students need to build their skills on their own, and different workshops are available for this, so that they can learn and get industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course because it's great to go with ECE if you're really interested in research-related things, or if you are targeting PSUs. The events and crowd connectivity are all good here, with a lot of extracurricular activities.

A very beautiful campus for non-locals, but a very strict atmosphere for someone new.
Placements: As much as I have heard from seniors, placements of ECE at NIT Srinagar are above average, and the field of ECE is also emerging as a good opportunity. The faculty of core subjects is strict, according to most of the seniors, and the branch also has a very low average CGPA compared to other branches, but that doesn't affect the placements as you are trained pretty well along with a lot of opportunities.
Infrastructure: The hostel is very poor, almost 5 students in a very small room in the 1st year, and then 4 students in a single room from the 2nd year, and it stays as 4 students till your 4th year. Although there is a mega hostel under construction, that will still take time to be built. Mess food is okay, not the best, but still manageable.
Faculty: Faculty here at NIT Srinagar is amazing. There are some seriously very experienced professors, especially in the branch of ECE, although they are a bit on the strict side when it comes to academics, but the quality of content taught here is really next level.
Other: There are events and fests in the college, a lot of them actually, but not up to that level.

Review for NIT Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir.
Placements: The placement is average. You need to work really hard for better placements. I would suggest you explore other options too, outside the campus, and work on your better skills and techniques. The placements here are considered to be fine, more or less.
Infrastructure: The hostels are really bad. There are 6 bunk beds in first-year rooms, and the top bunk in bed is really difficult to adjust to. The Wi-Fi is slow, too. The labs are fine and the library is good too, but there should have been more space for a larger number of students.
Faculty: Teachers are fine. They are well aware and have great knowledge. They will help with better placements, too. The exams here are moderate to difficult. You have to study on your own, but some faculty is fine too. You can take their help as well. Some of them are strict tho.

The college has good infrastructure and the environment.
Placements: The placement is decent, not too good or not too bad. If you learn new skills, then you will definitely be placed at a good company. The top recruiters for my branch are Nvidia. I hear that Google is also coming this year. The highest package for my branch is 19 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. The classrooms and the building blocks are beautiful to see. There is a canteen and a cafeteria inside the campus. There are 7 different types of hostels for boys, whose names are Indus, Chenab, Jhelum, Jhelum extension, Manasbal, Mansar, and Tavi.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and the facilities are also good. If you behave nicely with them, then they also behave nicely to you. Semester exams are not very difficult if you study daily for 2 hours; it will be enough if you don't panic in exams, otherwise, you have to study at the last minute.

Our college, National Institute of Technology, is a very beautiful place of 75 acres.
Placements: 121.12% is the percentage of placements, which means the placement requirements are more than the students in our college. The highest package is 36.5 LPA. The average package is 13.8 LPA. The lowest package is 12 LPA. Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Samsung, Deloitte, etc., recruit. Up to 98.7% of students get internships here from companies like Google, Microsoft, Deloitte, etc. Top roles are software engineer, developer, full-stack developer, Data scientist, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities in our department or college include the Ethernet connection for each and every hostel room, and labs and classrooms will be neat and clean with the heaters. Quality in food is not bad, we can say, and in the canteen, it is okay. We have a playground for playing cricket, and we have a badminton court and many more courts for sports and games.
Faculty: Lecturers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They teach very well and clear doubts very well. It makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are as difficult as the explanation of the lecturers. The lecturers prepare the exam keeping the syllabus in mind.
Other: I am interested in doing software jobs and coding as well, so I have chosen CSE. I wish to start the core subjects from the first semester.
