I am highly satisfied with my college.
Placements: 87 percent of students got placed. The highest package is 17 LPA, the lowest package is 7 LPA, and the average is 9 LPA. Recruiting companies are Power Grid and Tata. Total of 94 percent of students got internships in companies like Powegrid, Tata, NTPC, etc. The top roles offered are project engineer and design engineer.
Infrastructure: The campus is good as it is situated on the banks of the Dal Lake. The classrooms are well organised, and Wi-Fi is also available. There is also a library with more than 5,000 books in it. The hostel is average, and the mess food is also average. There is a medical unit and a playground.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They teach us the relevant syllabus that we can use outside the classroom. I found the course relevant, and that makes us ready for the industry. My semester exams are moderate, and the passing percentage is also around 90 percent.
Other: I chose this course because of the wide scope of the electrical branch. There are events and fests that NIT Srinagar holds every year.

Good college. Placement is good, and the facility is also good.
Placements: 80-90 percent of students got placed on campus. The average package is 10 LPA. Recruiting companies are Microsoft, Google, IBM, TATA. 90 percent of students get internships. Internship is with the company DRDO. The highest package offered is 30 LPA-40 LPA. Students got placement inside the campus. Everyone is satisfied.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure and all facilities. Wi-Fi is everywhere. Classrooms are good. Library is good and canteen is available. The food is not very good. There are a lot of facilities in sports like badminton, volleyball, cricket, etc. Medical facilities are also good, we get good treatment.
Faculty: The faculty is good, helpful, and qualified. The difficulty of the semester is average. The pass percentage is 40 percent of the total, like 40 out of 100. Teachers are so experienced and good at understanding the topics for students. Teachers make students ready for the industry.
Other: I am interested in B.Tech.

Very beautiful campus, good placements in 2023, knowledgeable faculty, and an adventurous college.
Placements: About 85% of students got placed. The highest package is 20 LPA. The lowest is 4 LPA in the electrical engineering course. The top recruiting company is HPCL (PSU). About 10 students got internships at Juniper, Rashmi Metallics, and L&T. Top roles offered in electrical are buisness analyst and GET.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is not that much good. The library and classroom are very good. The Wi-Fi facility is quite good. The mess facility is bad. There is no separate mess for veg and non-veg students. Medical facilities are good. Sports and games are very interesting over there.
Faculty: Some professors are super. They are very intelligent, knowledgeable, and highly qualified. In the electrical engineering department, Javed sir for electrical machines and Bazaz sir for control systems and power systems are very brilliant. The curriculum is very relevant. Semester exams are moderate level.
Other: The best place for a person who loves to live a life close to nature.

Internships are not offered by the college, it is an individual's part to go for training and internships.

It is an amazing college. It is helpful for individuals' internal and mental growth.
Placements: 60% of students are placed so far right now. I do not have any idea about the packages. Companies like BHEL are amongst the top companies in India. About 60% of students are doing internships so far in companies like PGCIL, BHEL, Bark, etc. Roles like a good presenter and a good communicator are offered to students.
Infrastructure: The institute has a quite good infrastructure. It provides good-quality Wi-Fi and fully air-conditioned classrooms. It has good hostels with nice food quality in mess. The canteen also has little variety in food. There are good doctors and medicines for any case.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and they help us to grow. It is quite difficult to prepare for exams because the syllabus is very difficult to study. The pass percentage is 40% out of 100%. The course curriculum helps students to become industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course because I love circuits. Nothing should be improved in this course.

Really pleased with the environment in and around the college.
Placements: In the year 2023, there were around 720 offers, and the highest package was in CS, being 36.5 LPA. The average package overall was 13 LPA. In the electrical department, the average package was around 8 LPA. The overall placement was decent. Tech Mahindra, JSW Group, and Capgemini were popular recruiters.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are decent. There are good benches and tables. Blackboards are used for the 1st year, and then there are smart boards as well. Labs have different equipment for many experiments, such as in the Physics and Chemistry labs. There is also an English language lab for improving English. There is also a good canteen, a dispensary, and an ambulance. Sports like cricket, basketball, football, and table tennis are available.
Faculty: Teachers are properly qualified, and they are Ph.D. holders. The course in the first year contains EVS and English, which prepares students for the real world. There are two main exams: mid-semester and end-semester. The difficulty is moderate, and most students clear the exam.

Faculty members are quite knowledgeable, but placement records are satisfactory.
Placements: On average, 40 to 50 percent of students get placed. 7 lac is the median package. Top recruiter companies include Tata Motors, Oracle, BHEL, HPCL, etc. 60 to 70 percent of students do internships in prestigious companies in their third year. Placement rates vary for different branches and batches.
Infrastructure: Labs are equipped, but instruments are very old and used. Classrooms are comfortable for winter. The library has two floors and has almost all the course books available. Medical, sports, canteen, and game facilities are average. Hostels are quite less spacious, especially the 8-seater rooms.
Faculty: Teachers and professors are very knowledgeable and experienced. Most of the faculty members here are postdoctoral. Semester exams are quite difficult and performed under strict surveillance. The course curriculum is not very industry-related but is good for clearing the basics.

National Institute of Technology Srinagar.
Placements: The highest package offered was 18 LPA in Electrical Engineering, and the average placement was 10 LPA in Electrical Engineering. For internships, very few teaching companies visited, such as Oracle and Cummins India. Students, by themselves, approached companies for internships, and the internship percentage was 100%. Several companies visited the campus, such as Google, Microsoft, Adobe, HPCL, BPCL, PGCIL, etc.
Infrastructure: There are a total of 4 boys' hostels: INDUS, CHENAB, TAWI, JHELUM, and JHELUM EXTENSION. Wi-Fi is available in all hostels. Food quality is quite good, but you can't get the taste of your home. Sports facilities are quite good compared to previous years.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in the first year in all departments, but as you enter your core subjects, you will find that the Electrical and Electronics and Communication departments are very strict. All the faculty are supportive. Semester exams are not difficult; only the topics taught in class will be asked in the exam. The passing percentage is 40% of the overall marks.

NIT Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir College review.
Placements: Our institute has a placement cell. It helps students to acquire jobs in the industry. Many top companies like Wipro, L&T, and Nvidia visit our campus. It provides jobs in every field from information tech to material-related jobs. Here, job opportunities are for every branch. Recently in one day, about 30-40 students got placed with an average salary package of 10 LPA. Most of the opportunities are for the CSE and IT students as it goes for every institute. Some companies like GAIL, IOCL, and BARC give internship opportunities to chemical branches.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure has its Kashmir style. Buildings are well-painted in the front but there are some bad conditions too at the back. The academic blocks are very clean and include all types of laboratories for practical experience. The campus also includes its library where all the engineering books are kept, and students can study anytime between 9:00 AM to 12:00 AM. Classrooms are well-cleaned and include smart boards and air conditioning for summer and winter.
Faculty: Our teachers or faculty members on the campus are highly qualified with amazing teaching skills. It helps every student to grasp concepts of the topic concisely. Most of the teachers are very friendly and help you in every field if it's your studies or any other problem. The course curriculum is well-managed and thoughtfully created. Every student can grab concepts to be industry-ready. There are mainly mid-term examinations and end-term examinations in the gap of 1.5 months.
Other: We have clubs in every field from music to photography where you can showcase your extracurricular skills. We have 2 annual fests. A tech fest and a cultural fest are held. Games tournaments and sports are also being held here. Other extracurricular activities are organized regularly. All festivals are celebrated with full excitement and joy. The crowd on the campus is mostly busy on Monday, but the crowd is not very dense.
