College life in NIT Warangal without any branch bias.

Placements: Our course started with last year's batch, so I cannot say much about placements in our branch. But by comparing with other branches, placements are going well, and there is a chance for us to be eligible for placements in our branch. We are awarded 16 credits in Computer Science as a minor subject, and by doing two more courses on NPTEL, we can get two more courses, which means +8 credits.

Infrastructure: For us, the infrastructure is nice, and recently our 1,800-capacity hostel A block was renovated. So, we face some problems with room sharing and accommodation. We are not satisfied with the bathroom facilities because some floors do not have Western commodes, and facing with mosquitoes. But our relief is that they use kerosene lamps to prevent mosquitoes.

Faculty: Faculty is nice, and their teaching methods are nice, so we can understand the subject in depth. They provide good notes for us. For our course, we are getting visiting faculty for only one subject, but that will change next year. They suggest books that can taken from the library, and teachers explain doubts to us at any time.

Other: Campus life is okay with some fests and clubs. Mainly, students mingle with each other without any bias.
