Mukesh Patel School of Technology BTech course is offered across ten specialisations. The UG-level course lasts for four years and is spread across eight semesters. The BTech programme also includes one integrated programme with the management program, MBA Tech, which lasts five years. In addition to the BTech course, the school also offers one intgrate course with the management programme, MBA Tech which lasts for five years. Admission to the BTech is based on the entrance exam NMIMS CET, which is conducted by the NMIMS (Deemed to be University), Mumbai Campus. The BTech programme also offers oppurtunity to study aborad in association with the Pamplin School of Business: Virginia Tech, USA.
GRE / GMAT will not be required, provided GPA requirements are met.
- TOFEL/IELTS is not required for students whose mode of teaching/learning is in English language
The fee structure for B.Tech will be as per NMIMS University norms.
- Fees for the 4th and the fifth year will be out of state tuition fees as prescribed by the
Virginia Tech Bursar’s Office.
- Estimated cost of attending Virginia Tech campus (As per 2021-22 published rates) is

• For UG academic year required cost $39033 + other estimated cost $24,395
• For Graduate academic year required cost $40,235 + other estimated cost $24575
- Students should note that the fees at VT would applicable, would be prescribed in their respective academic year. These fees do not include cost of stay, health Insurance, books personal expenses etc..
- Aspirants should also consider the cost savings of a 5 year BS & MS programme conducted
in US versus the cost of the coordinated programme where the first 3 years are completed
in India, leading to 3 degrees.
B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) (MPSTME, NMIMS)
b. BS degree in Business Information Technology with a specialisation in Cybersecurity
Management and Analytics, Pamplin College of Business, Virginia Tech (STEM
Program)

The B.Tech. degree will be awarded at the end of the 4th year, while the BS and MS
degrees will be offered at the end of the 5
th year.
The first phase of NMIMS CET counselling dates will be held in April 2026. The qualified candidates have to participate in the counselling process for admission into the offered courses. The counselling dates for the second phase of NMIMS CET will be declared in the first week of June 2026.
NMIMS CET 2026 application form last date for Phase 1 is March 22. Candidates will have to fill application form before final date. Separate applications will be released for different phases of exam.

Candidates have to register for NCET exam to get admission in BTech programs of STME/MPSTME NMIMS. The registration fee of INR 2000 for NCET is non-refundable and non-transferable. So it will not be refunded to you even if you do not appear for the NCET exam.
