College is average and not so good, I chose it only because GL Bajaj was not an option.
Placements: Around 80-90% of students are placed, with the highest package reaching 37 LPA, the average being 6-7 LPA, and the lowest at 2-3 LPA, while top recruiting companies included Capgemini and a lab collaboration with Mercedes-Benz, and all students who are members of AASP are guaranteed an internship with an average stipend of 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: Facilities are a mix of good and bad. The labs and library are good, but the classrooms are below average. The hostel is good, though the food is inconsistent and can be considered average overall. The campus lacks a good cafeteria, which is a major point of dissatisfaction. Sports, games, and functions are few and of poor quality.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not too hard if you study well. The college, being autonomous, sets its own curriculum and exam standards for the B.Tech program.
Other: I chose this course, and its best feature is the collaboration with Mercedes-Benz and the 100% placement for mechanical students. I believe the college should improve its classes to provide more practical knowledge than theory. The events, fests, and campus crowd are all average.

Good infrastructure and learning environment, decent placements, but need better core opportunities.
Placements: Around 65–75% of Mechanical Engineering students at NIET get placed every year. The highest package is around 10 LPA, but this is rare and usually offered to very exceptional students. The average package is about 4–4.5 LPA. The lowest package is around 2.5–3 LPA. Companies like TCS Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, and Wipro recruit from the campus.
Infrastructure: The entire campus including academic blocks, hostels, and libraries has Wi-Fi coverage. The department has well-equipped laboratories such as the Thermodynamics Lab, Fluid Mechanics Laboratory, Strength of Materials Laboratory, Heat Transfer Laboratory, and CAD/CAM Laboratory, all furnished with the latest machinery and equipment. The hostel facilities are kept in good order, with separate hostels for boys and girls. Rooms are available in both AC and non-AC options and include beds, study tables, cupboards, and other basic necessities. Wi-Fi, electricity, and water are available 24 hours a day.
Faculty: The majority of professors hold M.Tech or Ph.D. degrees and are readily available for mentorship. The curriculum is modern and industry-specific, offering core subjects along with practical training, internships, and workshops. It prepares students to be industry-ready. The semester exams are of moderate difficulty, assessing both theoretical knowledge and practical execution. Regular study and consistent class attendance make it easier to pass exams. The overall pass percentage stands at around 85–90%. Overall, NIET provides strong academic support, practical exposure, and a solid foundation for Mechanical Engineering students.
Other: I opt for Mechanical Engineering due to my keen interest in machines, design, and manufacturing. The course at NIET offers well-equipped labs, project-oriented learning, and internship opportunities. However, it would be better if there were more specialized workshops, updated software training, and stronger core company placements. The campus is lively with tech fests, cultural festivals, and sports tournaments. The crowd is cosmopolitan and diverse, and the campus enjoys good metro and road connectivity. Surroundings are vibrant, with malls and cafes nearby. Merit-based scholarships are provided, and there are plenty of extracurricular clubs for sports, robotics, and the arts.

NIET is a great place to learn and develop new skills.
Placements: In my branch, mechanical, every year approximately 50 to 60 students get admission, out of which up to 90% of students get placed. The highest salary package offered is 9 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Capgemini and Ge Vernova.
Infrastructure: There are separate buildings for every branch, and each building has specific labs and workshop areas. Classrooms are fine, with modern equipment and other facilities, but Wi-Fi is not really working. Quality of hostel is moderate, not too good, with average mess, badminton court, and washrooms.
Faculty: Faculty members of branches are well qualified, and they teach us with perfect real-life examples. Course curriculum is also updated every year to remove unused parts of the syllabus and add important topics that help in future outcomes. Semester exams are very tough, and only 70% of students are able to pass the exam.

Review of Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology (NIET).
Placements: Almost 90% of students get placed every year in our college with an average salary package of 4 LPA - 5 LPA. The highest salary package offered ranges between 10 LPA - 12 LPA. Capgemini, Cognizant, Accenture, etc., visit our college. Many types of roles are offered to students based on their skills.
Infrastructure: Our college does not provide good infrastructure. All labs are very old. Most of the systems are not working. The hostel is not good. Its rooms are not spacious. There is no Wi-Fi in the hostel. The mess provides average food. Our canteen offers good food. The hostel has a common room where you can play table tennis.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified in their departments. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. It is an autonomous college, so exams are conducted in our college itself. Exams are average. The passing marks are 33.
Other: I chose this course because it is a core branch. Our college focuses on academics. It conducts a sports fest every year.

It is an average college with a lot of restrictions.
Placements: Our college lacks in providing placements for students in mechanical companies. The salary packages were not good. Many students got placed off campus. A few of our juniors got layoffs from companies after placements.
Infrastructure: Labs were good in our course. Students were not allowed to sit in the library during college hours.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were good. Exams were conducted at a good level. The course curriculum made students industry ready.
Other: Events and fests of our college should be improved. Industrial visits were not arranged in our college.

The average salary package offered was 2.5 LPA to 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Tata Motors, Infosys, etc., visited our campus. Almost 50-60% of students got internships in our course.
Infrastructure: Our college provided excellent infrastructure. The college provided all facilities. Wi-Fi was not available everywhere for students, but classrooms were huge, and labs were well-maintained. Many books and journals were available in the library. The hostel facility was good. I am very satisfied with good faculty, infrastructure, and placements of this college.
Placements: In our course, around 70-80% of students got placed. Some students got great salary packages. Even I got a very good job with a satisfying salary package in a topmost company. In our course, almost 60-80% of students got internships in top companies like Tata, Infosys, and many other good companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department was very good. Our college provided all the facilities that were required for the study of our course. They also provided facilities like Wi-Fi, well-maintained labs, classrooms, and a library. I did not get the hostel during my studies, so I did not know very well about the hostel, mess, and canteen. According to my friends, hostel facility was very good. In mess, they provided good and hygienic food.
Faculty: I think teachers play a very important role in the placement of any student. I proudly say that the teachers are very well-qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. They taught us very well. The course curriculum was relevant. It made the students industry-ready. Semester exams were not very tough, but it depended on the students to determine how much they were qualified. I think the passing percentage was 80-90%.
Other: I chose this course because it was my interest and fascination towards this course.

Faculty: Our teachers were well-qualified and friendly. They cleared up all genuine doubts among students. The course curriculum was relevant. It made students industry-ready. The level of difficulty depended on the students. Students could easily clear all exams. The pass percentage was 80-90%.
Other: I chose this course because it was my parents' choice.

Hello Ankit, Presently in India, job prospects in this branch are quite low. Students are getting placed in routine mechanical engineering jobs. However, after four years, when you pass out, situation may have changed.
