Best budget engineering college in Bhopal .
Placements: In year 2024, all students were placed in steel companies. The average package in mechanical engineering department of my college is 2 LPA. Companies from different domains such as steel companies, automobile companies and other various companies visit our college during placements.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided by the college are good, the building for all departments of engineering are in goof condition. Each building includes labs, Wi-Fi, classrooms and library. They also provide hostel which is overall good. The only problem is food, which is not good at all.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and also knowledgeable. Teaching quality is also good. Nowadays, semester exams are tough. If students are not studying regularly the it's hard for them to pass semester exam. The pass percentage is 7-8 SGPA in semester exam.
Other: I choose this course because of my interest in automobile sector. Also I'm curious about mechanical field. Overall, good experience in my college.

Our college is average, and it provides below average placements for the mechanical course.
Placements: Placements in our college for core branches are below average. Placements in CS and IT branches are fair. But the problem is the salary package offered is very low. Mechanical students have to work very hard, and they can prepare for GATE. Future is very tough for freshers, so it is better to prepare yourself.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Mechanical labs need a serious upgrade. Classrooms are good. A library is an average place to study and hang out, but students had no direct access to the books. Overall, our college needs to work on infrastructure.
Faculty: Some faculty members in our college were good. Some faculty members were very new and inexperienced. Their teaching quality was average. Our college provides RGPV course curriculum, and it does not make students industry-ready. College can attempt to prepare students industry-ready on their level. Some faculty members were very helpful.
Other: The college should conduct many extracurricular activities.

Q:   Is there enough demand for BTech graduates in the job market?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

If we look at the market demand, no doubt there is huge demand for BTech (Full Form: Bachelor of Technology) graduates among top recruiters who are constantly looking for skilled and knowledgeable students with fresh ideas to enhance their business growth and profitability.

Having said that, a few previous-year employment reports published by the Business Standard and Times of India suggest that students found it a struggle to land a high-paying job after completing BTech because of a lack of industry-specific skills and knowledge and cut-throat competition between Lacs of engineering students hunting for a job.

Hence, it is very important for students to focus on enhancing their skill set according to industrial demands and technological advancements, stay updated regarding all industry trends, build good networks and, most importantly, take up internships to gain experience and stand out in front of the employer.
