Review of PACE - Pa College Of Engineering.

Placements: PACE is the best college. All the students have to take up an internship which is very useful for their career. Especially this year, more than 20 companies visited our college for placements. We also had a pool campus drive. Our placement officer is working well, and they provide placement training as well.

Infrastructure: PACE has good infrastructure. It has well-furnished classrooms, labs and library. The library has internet facilities, and the college provides Wi-Fi facilities as well. PACE provides separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls. Food served in the hostels is good. The college provides both indoor and outdoor game facilities.

Faculty: PACE has more than 150 faculty members. Most of them have completed their M.Tech and PhD. There are different teachers for different departments. They have more than 10 years of experience. They use different advanced techniques for teaching students and also to provide learning skills. Teachers are friendly and good.

Other: PACE provides 100% scholarships for all the students. PACE organises the PACE fest and extracurricular activities every year.

No adequate placements, faculty are good and infrastructure can be improved.

Placements: Only the major placement that happened was in Infosys, and that too for 25 students which is the highest for any company from the PACE. At least 75% of the students ended up without placements. There are these useless cloud campus drives which absolutely makes no sense, and these shouldn't be entertained by the management.

Infrastructure: The administrative block is the standard which people will be expecting. But academic block is pretty outdated. The playground is at +100m away from the academic block. The road leading to the college is full of potholes and narrow which creates a lot of congestion in the process of getting in and out of the college especially by college buses.

Faculty: For the mechanical branch, the faculty is pretty good. 50% of them are experienced. Apart from the course curriculum, there is no proper encouragement for extracurricular activities and even organising a fest is something like a taboo in here. Management should not be so protective of its students and give some freedom.

Other: Faculty members are not experienced and they don't meet their qualification and so students won't meet. This college is some kind that give impositions, daily exams, calling parents for every issues. And placement it is a day dream or below fees is the biggest motivation to join this college but it's not.

Other: This is one of the best engineering colleges in Mangalore with a state of the art laboratories and faculty. P.A College of Engineering is located at Nadupadavu, 20kms from Mangalore city and next to Infosys and Mangalore University. Separate hostel facilities are provided for boys and girls with 24*7 water and electricity. Hostels also feature mess facility with a diverse menu and hygienic environment. Campus doctor ensures immediate medical treatment for everyone on the campus. P.A College of engineering is one of the first colleges in Karnataka to eliminate ragging. The separate hostel is provided for newcomers and a 24*7 supervision ensures zero ragging. Every department of the college is headed by experienced personnel having doctorate and faculty members who have masters degrees in their respective fields. Every batch of 10 students is provided with a tutor who monitors their academics as well as non-cultural activities. These steps ensure the overall development of each and every student and make sure that every student is an asset to the society.

A review about PA College of Engineering (PACE) Bangalore.

Placements: Placements are good if you are looking for local companies around Bangalore. Best to start your career. There are good companies coming for CS and ENC students. Mechanical students don't get that good exposure. A notable company that visits this college is Infosys. Few others are local companies around and in Bangalore.

Infrastructure: There is a college Wi-Fi available, classrooms are okay with each class having a setup of projector system and lecturers do use it. Library isn't that great, you get few number of textbooks from notable authors. There isn't that great encouragement for sports and co-circular activities. Canteen food is great.

Faculty: There are numerous qualified lecturers with equal number of fresh lecturers with zero skills of teaching. Student to faculty ratio is around 60:1. Industrial visit and other industrial tours is strictly only for civil students. In my four years of college I have never even got a chance through my college to visit a industry.

Other: There are notably 2-3 fests every year, not that great though. Campus is great, its green and lush. You can get various scholarship through government. No encouragement for extracurricular activities or sports.
